In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around December 4-5, December 12, December 18-19, December 25 and/or December 31-January 1. During this month of December 2015, a couple of planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
The first half of December 2015 is all about the Cardinal T-square between Mars, Uranus and Pluto (the apex body). This surely is a High Power configuration that may bring a (some) shock(s) and unexpected events -- for good or bad. This is an explosive and action-oriented combination that can accomplish a lot as well but it's almost always a very accident-prone configuration resulting in physical injuries. Beware of increased (traffic-)accidents, incidents, anger and violence. Also, expect the unexpected and be prepared for sudden changes of course. In some instances, this T-square is related to job changes, career changes or profound changes related to the working floor. All bodies involved in this T-square have in common renewal and starting (something) anew: Mars is the (self-)starter, initiator or pioneer, Uranus breaks away or breaks free, is disruptive and revolutionary and Pluto brings reversals and huge transformations with an emotional impact. Because Pluto in Capricorn is the apex body, groundbreaking and earthshaking changes and revelations are a given. During the early December 1-2 days you may be let down by occurrences or may expect too much from others. You may feel sad and/or disappointed and/or betrayed. Beware of miscommunication and/or disagreements. If you are born around January 22, March 6-7, April 22, June 8, July 25, September 9-10, October 25 or December 9 these influences especially apply to you. There is love's sorrow noticeable around December 2 and some financial issues (expenses or losses) may pop up. These sobering influences may especially affect you if you are born around January 17, March 2-3, April 17-18, June 2-3, July 20, September 4-5, October 20-21 or December 4. Around December 4 Mercury at 21° Sagittarius squares Jupiter at 21° Virgo. This waxing square is full of judgments and wishful thinking. Both planets don't feel well in their respective signs and lack foresight and tact. Double-check all information because the information you now receive may be unreliable and/or too good to be really true and/or just sweeping statements and 'tall' stories. These days around December 4 are very creative and artistic though and favor doing home improvements or home decorations, enjoying a cozy time at home or in the family, listening to music and/or enjoying other creative projects at home. This home-loving period may be most noticeable if you are born around January 19-20, March 5, April 19, June 5, July 22, September 7, October 23 or December 6. Venus enters intense and secretive Scorpio around December 4-5. In the sign of its detriment, Venus feels fenced in and is hardly feeling social urges. Relationships tend to become more intense with emotional and primal urges running high at times. This may result in more jealousy and strong emotional attachments. Also, there can be agreements over or about shared resources. Expenses are likely to increase. Around December 6 Mars at 14° Libra squares Pluto at 14° Capricorn. In this waning square, Mars is the weaker of the two because it is posited in the sign of its detriment. You may easily feel the victim of a certain enforced, overwhelming or 'fated' situation. Natural disasters and violence (explosions of anger) may be part of the outcome of this quite explosive, accident-prone and challenging aspect. Cooperating is difficult under this transit. Mercury at 26° Sagittarius squares the Moon's Nodes around December 7-8 presenting a very hectic, busy and stressful period. There can be quite some (transportation, traffic and/or air) disasters happening around this period. If you are born around February 1, March 17, May 2, June 18, August 4, September 20, November 4 or December 18-19, there can be weather-related issues but also sad news, cancelling your plans, breaking news, separations and unexpected changes of course. The challenging and upsetting trends continue between December 9-12 and may bring surgery, physical injuries, fanaticism but also, more positively, a fighting spirit. These tense events may be part of your life if you are born around January 6, February 19, April 5, May 21-22, July 7-8, August 23-24, October 9 or November 23. If you are born around January 22, March 6-7, April 22, June 8, July 25, September 9-10, October 25 or December 9, there can be hospital visits, separation, misunderstandings and not feeling well around December 8-9. Mercury enters corporate Capricorn around December 9-10. Usually, this ingress of the messenger denotes letters, announcements and/or news from authorities, governments, corporations and/or 'officials.' Additionally, employers and/or the banking world may also make some public announcements because 0° Capricorn is the most public degree related to such large organisations and institutions. Around the December 11 New Moon Mars at 16° Libra opposes Uranus at 16° Aries, resulting in another explosive, accident-prone and upsetting combo. This is the more so because, in mundane astrology, 16° Aries-Libra is associated with fear and violence. Expect the unexpected, breaking news and a sudden change of course. This Mars-Uranus opposition is a very rebellious one, suggesting conflicts, physical injuries, aversion for work, strikes and/or unemployment among others. In mundane astrology, such an astrological configuration is often found during earthquakes and earth-related disasters as well. The Sun at 22° Sagittarius squares Jupiter at 22° Virgo around December 14. Because Jupiter is the Sun's dispositor and in the sign of its fall, there is ballooning behavior and there are possible legal issues going on. In this position, Jupiter exaggerates, misjudges, works out in an unlawful way and is highly showy. There is a gap between an ideal, a concept and the physical or material outcome. Around December 15, there is a (painful) separation from a beloved one. There can be financial issues (a lack of funds and/or expenses) as well. The separative influences will likely affect you most if you are born around February 1-2, March 17-18, May 2-3, June 18-19, August 4-5, September 20-21, November 4-5 or December 18-19. The Sun at 26° Sagittarius squares the Mean Nodes of the Moon around December 18. This aspect often denotes a lack of creative self-expression, not being able to 'shine' or manifest oneself. There can be setbacks, an identity crisis, lower vitality, resignations and it may be difficult to maintain a position. This aspect may result in a celebrity or VIP passing or leaving a position. Around December 19 Mercury and Pluto conjoin at 14° Capricorn, making for impressive and/or persuasive speeches and/or announcing new perspectives. This conjunction is a very investigative one and chances are some deep-kept secrets will pop up. Also, this can be a very annoying aspect with some frustration ending in slanderous events and/or poisonous messages/comments. Mercury at 16° Capricorn squares stationary Uranus at 16° Aries around December 20-21 indicating breaking news. Be in for surprises and pioneering discoveries or sudden announcements. If you are born around February 7-8, March 24-25, May 9-10, June 25-26, August 11-12, September 27-28, November 11-12 or December 25-26, the days around December 20-21 can bring sudden windfalls, happiness, fortunate and successful developments. Enjoy thrilling moments and encounters and be happy. The Sun enters Capricorn around December 22 bringing the focus on a celebrity, authority, leader of state or VIP. Governments, big corporations and/or the banking world can be in the spotlight. If you are born around February 9-10, March 26-27, May 11-12, June 27-28, August 13-14, September 29-30, November 13-14 or December 27-28, the days around December 22-23 can be highly passionate. There can be love at first sight, enjoyable encounters and sudden attachments. Around December 23 there is a general lack of zest. Sadness prevails around this day and you may not feel too well. Uranus stations at 16° Aries and turns direct again around the December 25-26 Full Moon. This may be a special Xmas period because stationing Uranus will bring something new, some innovation, a new concept or idea, the more so because it's in pioneering and initiating Aries. Uranus can be quite disruptive though, so you better watch out for any unexpected accidents, the more so because of the Full Moon of increased awareness as well AND because, in mundane astrology, 16° Aries is a violent and fearful degree. Do not make important decisions impulsively around the station but wait till Uranus takes more speed later. Important changes may make themselves noticeable. If you are born around February 8-9, March 25-26, May 10-11, June 26-27, August 12-13, September 28-29, November 12-13 or December 26-27, the days around December 26-27 bring relief and fortunate developments related to a group. Around December 29 Mercury at 27° Capricorn squares Mars at 27° Libra indicating some harsh disputes, sarcasm, slander and quite some arguments. Also beware of theft and/or traffic accidents. Venus enters flamboyant Sagittarius around December 30 making for an adventurous combo. Falling in love with someone from another country or social class becomes easier now. Enjoy a trip or travel to far-away places. If you are born between January 5-7, February 19-21, April 5-7, May 21-23, July 7-9, August 23-25, October 8-10 or November 22-25, the days around December 30-31 may become thrilling. There were numerous HTML4 to HTML5 code changes on over 100 pages in our continuing effort to upgrade our whole web site to a more customer-friendly and dynamic HTML5 web site over time. Visitors who subscribed to our RSS feeds may have noticed that some of the updated (older) pages erroneously appeared in their RSS stream again. While updating the scripts we forgot to disable the RSS feeds option so that numerous pages were resent even though the content on the pages was not changed. Sorry for the confusion this may have brought. Finding Your Love LinesOn our web site we already discussed the topic of the love lines and how they show the locations and places where to find love.In this article we want to elaborate on this and show you which lines on the astromaps can be qualified as your love lines. However, don't expect this all to be as easy as pie... Understand that your natal chart reflects your 'default settings', your 'natal promise', the way your life is 'programmed' this life time to cover all the lessons and experiences you wanted or needed to live for your own development and evolution. The astromaps are still a fairly recent 'discovery' (originated in the 1950s by an engineer, Jim Lewis) and much more research is necessary to make it easier to find and pinpoint on the maps specific places for whatever targeted life domain (career, money, love, health,...). More recently, in the last couple of years, different additional methods were introduced, but still, all these methods need further adjustments and tests. At first, working with the astromaps can be overwhelming, because of the numerous (planetary) lines crossing everywhere. In matters of love, the Venus lines need to be considered first because Venus is still the planet and general significator of attractions and relationships (in a wide sense). However, if Venus is in a bad position in your natal chart (remember the 'natal promise'?!), these lines are not the most welcome ones. So, only take Venus lines first IF Venus is strong in your natal chart. How to find out if Venus (or any other planet) is in good a position? There are different methods based upon the tables of dignities (used by ancient and medieval astrologers) but there are modern versions as well (one of which is the Cosmodynes or Astrodynes). The downside of this workflow is finding scoring methods that work and are reliable because, whenever a score or weight changes, the outcome of the strength or dignity of a planet or body will also, making the results rather unreliable. Though the Astrodynes or Cosmodynes are not infallible, they still do give a good idea of the power and (dis)harmony of any body or planet. The Cosmodynes is the method we still prefer to use when we have to find out about the strength of a planet though. Whenever Venus gets a + score (denoting a harmonious influence), follow the Venus lines on the astromaps to find love. Take note of other planets that have a harmonious score because when these planets are on the Descendant or build aspects to the Descendant lines, these can be good love lines also. Another important part of your search for love lines on the astromaps is taking the midpoints into account. Unfortunately, as far as we know, there is no web site providing such midpoint lines; only astrology software seems to have this option of plotting the midpoints on the maps. In case adverse midpoints cross other 'love lines', this is not a good location to reside to find love. There must be auspicious midpoints crossing the locations you want to consider or none at all. Likewise, avoid interference from other more challenging lines crossing your love lines because they will bring upsetting events and experiences as well. Often, such challenging lines incorporate angular Uranus, Chiron, Saturn and/or Pluto (or in aspect with the angles). We already mentioned it, it's not only about angular Venus or another strong planet at an angle, the other harmonious aspects (sextiles and trines) count too. This option should only be used on smaller maps and not on a world map (because the map would become unreadable). Squares may work out beautifully too though but there can be delay or some situation to be overcome first. If you have found planetary lines (angular or sextile or trine the Descendant) that are free from challenging lines or midpoint lines crossing or in the neighborhood, these lines qualify as a love line. For more technically inclined people, some software programs have an option to calculate the planetary lines 'in mundo' or 'in longitude.' While the original lines in the astromaps were calculated 'in mundo', there is no agreement whether they are more accurate than the lines 'in longitude.' Our own research is not conclusive either: in some instances the lines 'in longitude' were more accurate but in other instances the lines 'in mundo' were far more precise. In the mean time, we go for the angular positions 'in mundo.' The midpoint lines should be calculated 'in longitude' though, as our own research conclusively pointed out. So indeed, because the astromaps are still a recent finding, more research is still needed . If you want to take a look at our back-issues, click here!
