In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around August 6, August 14, August 20-21 and/or August 27. During this month of August 2016, a couple of planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
In astrometeorology, Mars in this dry fire sign may raise the temperature and bring drier weather. Beware of more fires here and there (fiery Mars in the spreading sign Sagittarius may just increase the risk of wildfires, blazes and fires spreading fast). The entrance of Mars in expansive Sagittarius is also known for its assertive, pushy and even defensive behavior and traits. Indeed, this placement is often related to fighting for or against a cause or a belief. This can be the position of the crusader who becomes self-righteous, over-doing in a fanatical way. Expect fiery debates in matters of religion, politics, foreign affairs etc. as long as Mars resides in Sagittarius. Try to be moderate and try to balance extremely strong convictions and don't try to convert others. The first days of August can be windy and even stormy here and there as well. Around August 2-3, there is a threat of loss, separation and/or enforced changes. You may be the victim of someone else, get lost or missing and may face some physical hardship. If you are born around February 2-3, March 17-18, May 2-3, June 18-19, August 4-5, September 20-21, November 4-5 or December 19-20, the current astrological configurations will affect you most. Venus enters the earth sign Virgo around August 5. If you're still single, perhaps you may find love at the working floor (among co-workers) but you may also enjoy your work rather than looking for love. Because all earth signs are focused on the physical and material world, Venus needs some tangible tokens to blossom. In Virgo, Venus now appreciates beauty and perfection -- which it often does not find. Too much fault-finding can be an issue here. Around August 6 Mercury at 9° Virgo squares Saturn at 9° Sagittarius resulting in annoyance and fixed ideas. You can't stand the narrow thinking, the negativity and the fear-mongering. Venus at 1° Virgo squares Mars at 1° Sagittarius around August 6-7. Venus-Mars squares are never peaceful in mundane astrology! Expect turbulent and accident-prone times early August (and even the whole month because Venus and Mars will remain in zodiac signs that square each other). Whenever Venus and Mars clash, issues about boundaries pop up. Beware of aggression, rape and/or violence. A flirt now may break hearts. Sometimes being too spontaneous may bring you trouble, especially during Venus-Mars transits. There is chaos and confusion around August 7 when Mercury at 11° Virgo opposes Neptune at 11° Pisces. Sad news marks the days and you fear another breakdown of relationships (in the widest sense). If you are born around January 16-17, March 1, April 15-16, June 2, July 18, September 3, October 19 or December 3 you will likely feel these influences most. Mercury and the North Node of the Moon conjoin at 13° Virgo around August 9. Any contact between Mercury and the Lunar Nodes marks busy and hectic times. You may be called upon many times and there is a lot of buzz going on. Between August 9-12 there can be financial windfalls (legacies, inheritances among others). This may especially apply to you if you are born between February 8-9, March 24-25, May 9-10, June 25-26, August 11-12, September 26-27, November 11 or December 25-26. Around August 13 limiting Saturn stations at 9° Sagittarius and goes direct again while Venus at 9° Virgo squares stationing Saturn. This is a powerful separative combination. In matters of love, Venus in Virgo (the sign of its fall) in a square aspect with blocking and stationing Saturn represents the huge and tragic disappointment. There is rejection, unrequited love, being misunderstood and, in some instances, health issues (often related to the skin) are likely to pop up also. Moreover, stationing Saturn in Sagittarius is at a separative degree also, reinforcing the current sad and separative tendencies. Stationing Saturn in expansive Sagittarius wants to set boundaries and limitations in a way that works for many. Now is the time to be more flexible and understand that what is truth for one person is not truth for another person. Around August 14 Venus at 11° Virgo opposes Neptune at 11° Pisces. The attentive reader will have noticed that when first Venus squares Saturn and then Venus opposes Neptune, we have to do with a (mutable) T-square in which stationing Saturn is the apex planet. Clearly, mid August 2016 is marked by love's sorrow, separation, unrequited love, delusion in love, sadness... Stationing Saturn, being the apex planet of the T-square represents the need to get rid of insecurity issues, negative and pessimistic attitudes and learn to trust more. Responsibility in any kind of relationships is necessary. Around August 16 Venus and the North Node of the Moon conjoin at 13° Virgo. The North Node of the Moon is thus part of the T-square that involves, Venus, Saturn and Neptune as well. Indeed, this all points to separation from a loved one (for whatever reason), and sadness. When Venus and the North Node meet, you want to attend parties, music concerts, enjoyable gatherings but chances are you may feel disappointed just now because of the current astrological configurations. Around August 18 there is a Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) at 25° Aquarius, a degree of plane crashes, living in a transit phase, ready to separate and/or travel and/or quit. You may be vacillating or balancing between two opposite possibilities, ventures, options... and you can't decide just yet. There can be triangular relationships, being on the move frequently, undecided choices between the old and the new and, especially, a feeling that your life is going to take a profound turn entirely, in whatever way. There is no need to choose right now though, the choices will be presented automatically as soon as the time is right. We are entering separative months for sure, especially considering the upcoming separative September 1 Solar Eclipse that reinforces and even emphasizes the separative trends that are already active during this late August Lunar Eclipse period. People will start to massively change jobs, lovers, partners, places of residence... in the coming months. Some of them will transition also. Around August 19-20 there can be power outages, issues regarding electronics and/or issues with the internet. Around August 20-21, enjoy doing some home improvements, real estate transactions and/or searching for real estate opportunities. If you are born around January 24-25, March 8-9, April 23-24, June 9-10, July 26-27, September 11, October 26-27 or December 10-11, the current configurations are likely to affect you most. Mercury and Jupiter conjoin at 26° Virgo around August 22. Mercury is more powerful than Jupiter because Mercury is in its own sign while Jupiter resides in the sign of its fall. This conjunction suggests that facts & figures are more important than the concept(s) and/or judgment(s). Pay attention to the numerous details and beware of (il)legal or false documents. The Sun enters Virgo, the sign of work and health around August 22. With so many planets and bodies in the earth sign Virgo now, your main focus is on work, the minutest details, small animals and/or health. Around August 24, Mars and Saturn are conjunct at 9° Sagittarius, which is the position of the Fixed Star Antares. This configuration presents malevolent and destructive energies that will last quite some days. This is the more so because Mars is already widely square the Moon's Nodes that is almost always indicating tragic mass events, violence and accidents of all kinds affecting groups of people. Regular readers of our forecasts will already know we don't like contacts between Mars and the Lunar Nodes because of this turbulent and bloody combo. Moreover, Mars at 10° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 10° Pisces around August 26, suggesting quite some wasted energy, lack of zest, pessimism, hopelessness, chaos and confusion. You're best working and being alone now. Expect not feeling too well, illness, sadness and/or hospital visits late August. Venus and Jupiter conjoin at 27° Virgo around August 27-28 implying the need to be alone, living separated from (a) loved one(s), illness, needing time to cope with separation, to be troubled by some loss. Around August 28-29, stationing Mercury and Venus conjoin at 29° Virgo, an ending degree. There can be enjoyable conversations and you may want more harmony around these days. You may also want to end some situation(s) and will try to use your best diplomatic skills. Mars at 12° Sagittarius squares the Lunar Nodes around August 29-30 causing grief and upsetting situations and violence or accidents, as already mentioned. Venus enters its own sign Libra around the same day of August 30 and is in a very sociable mood. Social gatherings, parties and mass events are on the agenda. However, because of Mercury's station around the same day of August 30, it's not too good a day for making agreements. Mercury turns retrograde and it's likely you will reconsider any agreements later on. Don't take any important decision just now until Mercury turns direct again around September 22. In mundane astrology, stationing Mercury increases the risks of strikes here and there. If you are a Gemini or a Virgo, or have Gemini or Virgo on the Ascendant, these late August days may not be to your liking. You may not feel too well and would like to retreat. Things don't work out too well and you may want to keep a low profile, the more so because the upcoming September 1 Solar Eclipse at 9° Virgo is already noticeable and will likely affect all Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) in particular. He's still unmarried, even looks to be the eternal bachelor and though he's not part of the data-set we used to investigate unmarried men, we could not resist taking a look at how his chart matches our preliminary research findings.

The Astrology of Unmarried MenIn this article we'd like to present our preliminary statistical research results regarding unmarried men.It's just one of the numerous research projects we're involved in and we already have some interesting results we wanted to share. Our data-set contains just 61 natal charts of unmarried men, never married for whatever reason (because of illness, an untimely death, legal issues, religious or spiritual convictions etc.). From a metaphysical point of view a marriage is never the ultimate goal in or the purpose of life. Self-development is. Only consider marrying if the marriage will help you in your self-development. As usual the data come from the AstroDatabank which currently nears almost 60,000 birth data. Unfortunately, the AstroDatabank blends unmarried people with late marriages in the same category denoting that we had the very laborious and time-consuming task to filter the unmarried men out first. This incorporated researching numerous biographies to find out who was never married at all. The 61 data we kept are AA data (Rodden rating) and thus reliable and as accurate as possible. Though 61 data is not enough to build a theory on, there are some astrological configurations that stand out already. Below we only present the most significant and interesting patterns. Next month we will present our preliminary findings pertaining to unmarried women -- which differ, entirely... (that's why it's really important to differ between men and women!) This one stood out: the Sun and the ruler of the 9th house (modern rulerships) are in their 0-30° or 330-360° phases. In other words, the Sun and the ruler of the 9th house are never more than 30° apart. Another important pattern: the Sun and the ruler of the 7th house are in their 330°-360° phase (chi square 86.1).
