How Astrology Can Help To
Prevent Miscarriages

In our opinion, astrology might prevent miscarriages by pointing to some specific planetary configurations and alignments that are time and again found in cases of stillbirths.

By knowing in advance when these specific alignments are active in your horoscope, it would be wise to avoid becoming pregnant. This way you can prevent miscarriages and stillbirths.

When the planetary alignments pass when time goes by, the odds are you will be able to conceive a (healthy) child again. Indeed, life is all about the right timing!

How did we proceed to find these specific alignments that indicate miscarriage or stillbirth?

We analyzed the (secondary) progressed charts, converse progressed charts and solar returns of the years that a miscarriage took place in the life of celebrities and clients of which we had accurate birth information (Rodden rating B or above or birth certificates).

We also made extensive use of the AstroDatabank and nndb.com (Notable Names Database) to find additional information.

We have the exact birth information of 20 people and 23 reliable (well-timed) miscarriage data so that we could investigate the position of the 5th house (Topocentric houses) and its ruler in the (secondary) progressed charts, converse progressed charts and solar returns at the time of miscarriage.

Important Disclaimer:
Miscarriages occur (very) often. We only found 23 reliable and well-timed cases to investigate. This is a VERY small amount of information to build a whole theory on. The following results are significant but still preliminary. As we continuously proceed with our research, we will update our results as soon as new information becomes available. We will also take a look at other astrological indications then to prevent miscarriages.

What did we find?

• regarding the sign on the 5th house cusp (Topocentric houses)
  • mostly, the 5th house cusp was in Gemini (14 cases out of 23) or in Scorpio (12 cases)
  • less often, the 5th house cusp was in Aquarius or Pisces (both in only 3 cases out of 23)

• regarding the degree areas of the 5th house cusp or its ruler
  • 20° in Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) was occupied 6 times out of 23
  • 8° in Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn) was occupied 6 times out of 23
  • 12° in Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn) was occupied 5 times out of 23
  • 17° in Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn) was occupied 5 times out of 23

    Particularly this one struck us because Charles E. O. Carter, in his The Astrology of Accidents: Recent Investigations And Research, found that this degree area most often implies "bleedings."

    Also the 8° in Cardinal Signs often indicates "bleeding."

  • 0° in Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) was occupied 4 times out of 23
  • 12° in Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) was occupied 4 times out of 23
  • 19° in Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) was occupied 4 times out of 23
  • 18° in Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces) was occupied 4 times out of 23

• regarding the general degree areas of the 5th house cusp or its ruler, without taking notice of the sign the 5th house cusp or its ruler is in (from 0° to 29° in a sign)
  • 20° in a sign was occupied 10 times out of 23
  • 12° in a sign was occupied 10 times out of 23
  • 17° in a sign was occupied 9 times out of 23
  • 0° in a sign was occupied 9 times out of 23
  • 8° in a sign was occupied 8 times out of 23

Also note that the ruler of the 5th house of children square or opposite Uranus in the solar return chart or the progressed horoscope is a possible indication of miscarriage.

The following EXACT midpoint combinations (orb 0° 00' - 0° 01') between the natal chart and the solar return chart OR the natal chart and the (direct) progressed chart OR the natal chart and the converse progressed chart are related to miscarriages:

• any midpoint combination in which Venus, Saturn and Neptune are involved. Examples:
  • natal Saturn = progressed Venus/Neptune midpoint (orb 0° 00')
  • progressed Venus =natal Saturn/Neptune midpoint
  
  
• any midpoint combination in which Venus, Neptune and Pluto are involved. Example:
  Natal Neptune =progressed Venus/Pluto midpoint (orb 0° 00')

• a double whammy between any Venus, Saturn and Pluto midpoint (45° dial or 8th Harmonic; orb 1°). For example in the progressions when progressed Saturn = the natal Venus/Pluto midpoint AND progressed Pluto = the natal Venus/Saturn midpoint.

What does this all mean now?

A single indication should not be alarming. However, when two or more indications are present, beware!

In our opinion you can prevent miscarriages by making sure you don't get pregnant in the year(s) in which two or more of the above mentioned significant indications are present in the secondary progressed, converse progressed and/or solar return charts.

Let's give some examples to make it clear:

Example 1
Patricia Rice was born May 5, 1921 in Berkely, CA, USA at 11:45 am PST. She miscarried April 27, 1946. (Source: AstroDatabank)

Let's take a look at her progressed chart, converse progressed chart and solar return for the moment of miscarriage.

Note that the ruler of the 5th Solar return house and the ruler of the progressed 5th house are posited at 17° Aries (the degree of "bleedings"). 17° in Cardinal signs is a high rated indication of miscarriage, especially when this degree is occupied in two charts!

Moreover, the 5th house cusp in the converse progressed chart is at 20° Scorpio, another high rated indication of a miscarriage. Also, the Solar return 5th house cusp is at 0° in a sign (Libra), yet another (minor) indication of miscarriage or stillbirth.

To conclude, in 1946 there were three important indications of miscarriage and one minor one.

Let's take a look at her progressed chart, converse progressed chart and solar return for the moment of miscarriage.

We find 2 important indications of miscarriage:

• the ruler of the 5th Solar return house at 8° cancer (a Cardinal sign)
• the ruler of the converse progressed 5th house at 12° Cancer

Clearly, our research has not found all possible planetary alignments and configurations that might indicate miscarriages or stillbirths yet and that could be used to prevent miscarriages.

There may (and will be) other astrological indications too that we hope to find as we get more reliable information. However, it's a good start to prevent miscarriages when you take into account our first preliminary but noteworthy findings.

Our Advice: If you see more than 2 of the forementioned important indications in your horoscopes, prevent miscarriages by making sure you don't get pregnant then!!
