How To Make Sure You Get
Our e-Mail, Information and Orders

Increasingly, ISPs (ex., earthlink.net, comcast.net) and mail services (ex., Hotmail) are using filtering systems to try and keep spam out of customers' inboxes.

Sometimes, though, they accidentally filter the e-mail that you do want to receive.

Please do not blame your ISP or mail service.

The volume of spam is enormous and the algorithms to figure out what is spam (and what is not) are complicated.

So mistakes do happen.

We all have to deal, unfortunately, with the fallout of what spammers do to the Internet.

Naturally, you want to keep spam out. And you want to receive our important communications -- e-mail, our Love Letter (Newsletter), orders and any other e-mail that you request (and we only EVER send e-mail that you request).

To make sure that Cosmic Technologies mail is not deleted or filtered into a "junk" or "bulk" folder, please add the following e-mails to your address book and/or contact list (in your e-mail software) and to your ISP/mail service's whitelist...

  • info@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com
  • love-letter@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com

This should partly guarantee that you will receive whatever e-mail you need...

We only EVER send e-mail that you specifically request!

It's a shame to bother you like this, but blame it on the spammers. Your ISP or mail service is only trying to protect you.

The bottom line is that things have become so complicated in the ever-escalating war between spammers and ISPs/mail services, that you and we are accidentally caught in their cross-fire.

How do you add our e-mail addresses to the so-called "whitelists"?

That varies from ISP/mail service to service...

What if this all doesn't help?

Gmail or Google Mail

First, if you find e-mail from us in your Gmail spam folder, select or open the e-mail and click the Not spam button near the top of the page.

Then add both our e-mail addresses info@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com and love-letter@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com to your contact list by clicking on the arrow right next to "Gmail" at the top left of the page and selecting "Contacts."

At the bottom right of the next page click on the red button with a person and a "+" in it and add both our e-mail addresses.

Also, Google automatically sorts your inbox into (at least ) 5 tabs using its special algorithms:

  • Primary: person-to-person conversations and messages that don't appear in other tabs
  • Social: messages from social networks, media-sharing sites, online dating services, and other social websites
  • Promotions: deals, offers, and other marketing emails
  • Updates: personal, auto-generated updates including confirmations, bills, receipts, bills, and statements
  • Forums: messages from online groups, discussion boards, and mailing lists

It happens our e-mails are found in one of these tabs, except the primary tab ;)

In that case, you can drag-and-drop e-mails from one tab to the next (preferably you want our e-mails in your primary tab).

Indeed, in whatever tab you find our e-mails, drag them over to the primary tab.

When you do that, Gmail will ask if you want to create a filter for that sender (us) to send messages in the future to that tab.

Of course you confirm that you want our e-mails to be sent to your primary tab.

And to guarantee that you won't lose any of our e-mails, follow these instructions:

  1. Click on the rotor wheel icon at the top right of the page.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Filters and Blocked Addresses from the top row of choices.
  4. Near the bottom of the page, select Create a new filter.
  5. In the "From" box that appears, type our domain name after a @ like this: @cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com
  6. Leave other boxes blank and click Create filter with this search at bottom right of box.
  7. In the list of options, select Never send it to Spam.
  8. Click Create filter, and you're done.

  3. Move your cursor over the image or name at the top of the message.
  4. In the pop-up that appears, click the Add link.
  5. In the new pop-up, click Save at the top.
  6. For the whitelist, on the navigation bar at the top, click on the rotor wheel at the right and select Options.

  8. In the Enter a sender or domain here box, enter our e-mail addresses: info@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com and love-letter@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com, and click on the + to the right.
  9. Click Save at the top of the page and you're done!

Instructions and screenshots to whitelist e-mail and newsletters in Outlook for Office365 and Outlook for the web can be found here.

USA.net

Login to your e-mail account and click on Services in the left-hand Navbar.

You can Whitelist there.

To configure your personal white list filters, please follow these steps:

Determine what you would like done to the messages that match one of your filters. This generally fits into two categories, Override or Exclusive.

Override allows you to override your spam filters, including system spam filtering, and is handy when you have mail that is occasionally incorrectly marked as spam by the system spam filters.

Exclusive allows you to limit the mail you receive to only those messages that match your White List; all other mail messages will either be considered Junk Mail or automatically deleted.

If you choose Exclusive, you will need to specify whether to keep the mail as Junk Mail or to delete the mail.

If you choose to delete all mail that does not match your White List, this mail cannot be recovered later.

Yahoo! Mail

To whitelist our e-mail addresses with Yahoo!, you will need to set up a filter.

But first, if you find our e-mails going to your Yahoo! spam folder, open it and click Not Spam near the top of the page.

  2. Select Settings from the menu that unfolds.
  3. Select Filters from the menu on the left.
  4. On the Filters page, click Add.
  5. Give a name like "Cosmic Technologies" or "CosmiTec" to your filter.
  6. In the "From" row in the box to the right of "contains," type our e-mail addresses: info@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com and love-letter@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com which tells the system to put our e-mails in your inbox and not the bulk folder. Leave the other boxes blank.
  7. Click Save and you're done!

Other e-Mail Services

Each mail service is a little different, but the idea is the same.

Try adding our e-mail addresses

info@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com

and

love-letter@cosmitec-astrological-compatibility-advice.com

to your address book, or move the message from the Junk or Spam folder to your 'inbox' or forward the message to yourself (if you're getting it at all, that is).

If e-mail continues to be filtered out, check the service provider's instructions, call or e-mail your mail service tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all our e-mails.

What IF this does NOT help?
(After All, You Want & Expect Your Mail!)

If you cannot whitelist us, consider these two inarguable truisms...

You expect to receive e-mail that you want.

A company that can't deliver that basic expectation deserves to lose your business.

No matter what the "reason" may be for not whitelisting, it all boils down to the same thing...

Your ISP is not fulfilling your most basic of expectations.

So What To Do??

Complain by sending an e-mail to "abuse@" and "postmaster@" followed by the domain of your ISP or mail service (ex., if you are using an address@hotmail.com, send your complaint to abuse@hotmail.com and postmaster@hotmail.com).

Mail to both those addresses has an excellent chance of being seen by at least one person.

What Else Can You Do?

1) Enter a different e-mail address into our Order form, and e-mail your question, order or whatever to us again, if you are here because you have been having trouble receiving our replies.

One More Thing You Can Do To Register Displeasure...

2) Register a Complaint with the Filtering Provider

This is the interesting, unknown part of the "world of filtering."

Filtering providers are companies that provide filtering services for many ISPs and mail services.

They work behind the scenes, invisibly.

Since they provide the filtering for so many ISPs and mail services, even Hotmail, there is a good chance that they are involved if you are having trouble whitelisting us.

We Are Sincerely Sorry For This Bother!

This is not our fault.

If your ISP won't whitelist us, and instead tries to confuse the issue or say bad things about us, please ask them to cc us.

As mentioned, we have nothing to hide and would love to remove your inconvenience and discuss this directly with whoever is not letting you receive e-mail that you want.

If they refuse to speak with us, if they refuse to cc us, please send us a cc of their communications with you.

Also consider which party is being open, above board, and trying to truly help you.

No matter what they may say to make us look bad, it's really very simple...

We sent the mail. You want the mail. It is your expectation to receive it, no matter what they say.

We only ever send you e-mail that you specifically request and expect.

Please tell your mail service that you understand that false-positives do occur, but it is unacceptable not to be able to whitelist.

Then change ISPs or mail services. And let them know why.

There are enough free e-mail service providers like Gmail or (the most secure) Protonmail that are worth looking at.
