CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #020 -- The Love Degrees of The Zodiac - Introduction July 21, 2006 |
| Hi When we established Cosmic Technologies some years ago, we planned to bring to the widest possible audience as much information, research etc. as possible about love and astrology. From the beginning we chose to go "global", not "local" and that's why we built this site in English. However, even if English is one of the most important and most spoken languages worldwide, there still are numerous people who do not speak or understand English. That's why we from the beginning planned to translate our web site into some other languages too. However, we never thought there would be so much orders, requests and so much work to keep our business running and growing, making it almost impossible to translate the pages ourself. Translating the numerous web pages ourself would be just another huge and laborious task making it impossible to write new content, expand our site, do further research and send out this monthly Newsletter. Our first and utmost priority is expanding the web site and continuing with our astrological work because these are the fundamentals of our internet business. In second order of priority come the translations. Also, our pages are viewed by visitors from so many different countries worldwide, speaking so many different languages, that it will be a huge task anyway to satisfy them all by translating the pages in their own language. Aside from the English speaking countries, our pages are currently most popular in Italy, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Singapore, the Netherlands and becoming more and more popular in so many other countries (South Africa, Spain and Portugal, Brazil, Japan and a whole lot more). Though many visitors already asked us about a translation of our web pages, it is unrealistic that we will be able to get that job done really soon. Also, it's a question of cost-control and ROI (return on investment): professional translations are very expensive and if we plan to invest in expensive translations, there should be a return. We continuously look at different tools, methods and systems in hoping to find the best possible solution, but we still haven't found a good one yet. In first instance it's more realistic that we get a translation of the (user) guides that accompany some of the Reports and Calendars we provide and that can be ordered (Astrodamus Reports, Lunar Cycle Fertility Overview). For the moment this is our first priority, then, hopefully, will follow our web pages accordingly. So, for the moment, if you want a translation of our pages try to get a (free) translation from Google Translate, which we find one of the better services ... even if the translations are at times hilarious and, unfortunately too, incomprehensible... ;-( Take care and have fun!

Love Forecasts for August 2006August starts with a Sun-Jupiter square that will be exact around the 2nd. If you want to move or live together, this August is the month to go. The stars are right now, especially if you are born around May 1, August 2-3, November 3 or January 31.While squares to Jupiter often bring financial expenses, they also bring (over)optimism. Possibly, you're in kind of a learning phase too and want to expand your own horizon and world view. Moreover, the Sun is going to conjoin Saturn on the 7th, indicating that study and learning something "new" really is an item now. You want to master something, otherwise you will succumb. For some, this Sun-Saturn conjunction may bring illness and a "depressed mood." You'll have to take more rest anyway, especially if you are born around November 9, February 6, May 7 or August 9. What is most important this month, is the (applying) Saturn-Neptune opposition around 16-18 degrees in fixed signs. The Saturn-Neptune opposition is related to illness, feelings of depression and angst. A Saturn/Neptune combo can make you losing focus, bringing a feeling of giving up and denial. Indeed, when dissolving Neptune meets Saturn, the wall and border, you'll feel lost and desperate with nothing left to hang on to. There are no more securities left. This configuration will be felt especially when you are born around August 11, September 27, November 10-11, December 25, February 7, March 24, May 9 or June 25. Around August 10, Mercury, the messenger, enters Leo, the sign of creative self-expression, love and children. Start talking and planning about your child's wish. Communicate with your lover and children -- if you have any. Make some trips. The Sun opposes Neptune around August 11, bringing some loneliness. You are or feel left alone. Pay attention to falsehood. Venus, planet of love, enters the sign of love around August 12 joining Mercury and the Sun in Leo. Give a party or just have fun and enjoy life with the ones you love! If you are born around September 7, December 6, March 5 or June 5 the tight Mars-Uranus opposition may bring accident-prone events around August 13. So, be very careful then. Study and travel are on the agenda again around and after August 18 when Mercury squares Jupiter and conjoins Saturn two days later. However, with the applying opposition to Neptune, study will not go smoothly. You are not able to carry on and tend to daydream. Expect some expenses around August 22 when you want to buy something and spend some money. The Sun enters Virgo on August 23 bringing more work-related topics to the foreground. There is more stress and nervousness around. Venus squares Saturn and opposes Neptune around August 27. Love's sorrow or unrequited love is for sure if you are born around August 11, September 27, November 10-11, December 25, February 7, March 24, May 9 or June 25. Honestly, if you are born on one of these days, August seems not to be your lucky month! You don't feel appreciated now. You have no energy to pull through and feel quite down. If you are a pregnant woman, take care of your health now. After August 27, tension and nervousness will increase when Mercury enters work-related Virgo too. There are so much unaccomplished wishes you are longing for. August 30 denotes the start of large projects that will take a whole lot of energy and the month ends with the exact Saturn-Neptune opposition making you feel tired before the job is done...

The Love Degrees of The Zodiac - IntroductionNumerous books and articles have been written about the meaning of the 360 degrees of the zodiac. The majority of the authors prefer visionary and spiritual descriptions leaving space for further interpretation and the so-called "free will." The Sabian symbols are a good example and the most popular ones.The problem with images and symbols is that, while they can be stunningly accurate at times, they can be so vague and unreal that even with a whole lot of phantasy, you can't match them to the event. A little stretch will not hurt, but sometimes you need more than some imagination and a joint to "get the picture." Astrology is not about guessing... In our opinion, the most valuable degree meanings are the ones you can quite confidently use to accurately predict future events (not past events!). If you can't use the the degree meanings to accurately predict future events, you can't use them to delineate past events too because you are interpreting and projecting. Comparing different methods, we can say from our own experience that the Sabian symbols are not the most accurate ones to predict future events. If you take the symbolic and philosophical meanings to try to predict future events, you will find no consistency in the accuracy of the predictions. The predictions most often remain superficial und you have no idea what exactly the event will be like. While most astrologers use these symbols and images and keep using them, we forget about them. Instead we use descriptions that were derived by empirical research and experience done by some brilliant authors and astrologers. However,
