Love Forecasts for July 2011Around July 1, the 3rd Solar Eclipse of the year takes place at 9° Cancer. This Solar Eclipse belongs to a totally new (Saros) series, 13 New South. This is a very rare event indeed as it will run from July 1, 2011 for 1200 years and will not end until 3237!The same theme of this eclipse will occur about every 18 years. Because the influence of an eclipse lasts about 6-7 months we'll have to see what happens to find the basic meaning and theme of this new series. However, when delineating Solar Eclipses, the brilliant and keen astrologer Bernadette Brady uses the exact midpoints to define the essence of an eclipse. This July 1 Solar Eclipse has an exact PL=MA/JU midpoint (Pluto is at the midpoint between Mars and Jupiter) denoting huge endeavours and the endings of a long struggle. Extraordinary effort and achievements are possible in the coming months. Because Jupiter is at the Sun/Neptune midpoint too, long and difficult issues may reach a gentle conclusion during the 6 months to come. There may be huge windfalls! All 13 series have been linked to mass events (disasters) related to Austrasia (South Asia, Australia and New Zealand), making us wonder if this new 13 series too may be related to such events (think about the January 4 Solar Eclipse!). Be prepared if you live in the area. The Solar Eclipse in the zodiac sign of Cancer is concerned with home, real estate and the family. Because it's a South Eclipse, this eclipse will absolutely be a "home and family" (domestic) eclipse for good or bad. The applying square from the Sun to Saturn is related to separation from the family, the home, leaving the house, changing the residence etc. Medieval astrologers have learned us that a square from Saturn to a Solar Eclipse may bring the "death of a ruler of state or King." It may be interesting to look how this totally new series unfolds in the coming months. Because the June 1 Eclipse is still unfolding too, there will be an overlap between both Eclipses and their meaning for some months though. The Sun at 10° Cancer squares Saturn at 10° Libra around July 3. You will have to overcome limitations and take your responsabilities. Lots of work keeps you away from the funny side of life. Around July 4, Venus enters home-loving Cancer. You will value your house and home-life. Now is the time to do some home improvements. In matters of love, you tend to become more sensitive but also more emotional and less stable. You may easily feel hurt and withdraw more easily the coming weeks. Make your home a cozy place. Mercury at 5° Leo squares Jupiter at 5° Taurus around July 5, resulting in expenses for your children, hobby, entertainment or pleasures. If you are born around January 26, March 11, April 25-26, June 11-12, July 28-29, September 13, October 29 or December 12-13, there are worries about finances and/or illness (especially related to the lungs and/or the liver) around July 5-6. Around July 7, Venus at 4° Cancer squares Uranus at 4° Aries. Short-lived but highly irresistible attractions rule. Enjoy the moments. Venus at 5° Cancer will oppose Pluto at 5° Capricorn the day after. Actually, from July 6 to July 10, stationing Uranus will be the apex planet of a T-square with Venus and Pluto denoting love at first sight, irresistible desires and powerful love impulses. If you are born around December 27, February 9, March 26, May 11, June 27, August 13, September 28-29 or November 13, this T-square will affect you directly. This configuration is very powerful and life-changing because Uranus is at its stationing point ready to start its backward motion. Its influence will be felt out of the blue in an inescapable way. If you are born around December 29-30, February 12, March 29, May 14, June 30, August 17, October 1 or November 16, a cold shower awaits you around July 11 and your love dreams and encounters may unexpectedly disappear. You suddenly feel alone, and lonely. Unfortunately too, around July 13, Venus at 11° Cancer squares Saturn at 11° Libra, denoting more love's sorrow and separation from loved ones. If you are born around December 29-30, February 12, March 29, May 14, June 30, August 17, October 1 or November 16, stress and tension mark July 19. There can be news about a separation (or even death). Around July 22, Mars at 21° Gemini opposes the North Node of the Moon at 21° Sagittarius resulting in domestic issues. In the best case, you enjoy working at home, in other cases there are disputes with family members and/or neighbors. However, if you are born around January 12, February 25, April 11, May 28, July 14, August 30, October 15 or November 29, the days around July 21-22 can be very rewarding. There is lots of creativity in the air, sudden enjoyable encounters and even love at first sight. Let the pleasant surprises come! The Sun enters sunny Leo around July 23 bringing more self-awareness and a playful mood. Around July 25-26 there may be illness and, possibly, separation from a male person if you are born around January 22-23, March 8, April 23, June 8, July 26, September 10, October 26 or December 10. If you are born around this day of July 26, the separation may happen anywhere during your whole (solar return) year though. Around July 28, Venus too will enter Leo and add charm and more creativity and fun. However, with Mercury entering its own sign Virgo on the same day, it's best not to be too critical and faultfinding. Mercury at 0° Virgo opposes Neptune at 0° Pisces around July 29 resulting in chaotic experiences. You may feel deceived and/or confused. If you are born around January 26-27, March 12, April 27, June 13, July 30, September 14-15, October 30 or December 14 there is sorrow and possibly hospitalization around July 29- 30. You may feel dissatisfied and unhappy with the current events that are happening in your environment and surroundings. If you are born around January 22-23, March 8, April 23, June 8, July 26, September 10, October 26 or December 10, you may be in a very creative and artistic mood around July 30. Dividing The HousesYou may have heard about the decanates dividing the 12 zodiac signs of 30° into thirds of 10° each. Each decanate (one third of the zodiac sign of 30°) is ruled by the zodiac sign (and planet) associated with the other two signs of the triplicity.Actually, we partly discussed this method on our Sun sign compatibility page A lesser known method that is derived from this one states that you can also divide the 12 houses into thirds (it won't be thirds of 10° each though because the degrees of each third will depend upon the varying width of the house). You can divide each house into three equal parts in which the 1st part is associated with the 'cardinal' principle, the 2nd third is associated with the 'fixed' principle and the last third of the house is associated with the 'mutable' principle. The cardinal principle carries a meaning analogous with angular houses or cardinal signs, the fixed principle with succedent houses or fixed signs and the mutable principle with cadent houses and mutable signs. Planets or points situated in the first third take on the meaning of the cardinal principle, planets and points situated in the 2nd third take the signification of the fixed principle and planets/points posited in the last third have a mutable influence. This method partly solves why a certain or specific house meaning (which can be quite broad) does not always manifest in the life of the native. For example: in general, a planet in the 9th house may describe something about foreign countries, foreigners, higher education, philosophy or religion, travel, the siblings of the partner etc... However, in the natal chart of any specific person, it's perfectly possible that (s)he will not travel or study, depending upon the position of the planet in the 9th house. This method of house division, is a tool to find out which house meaning is likely to work out and which is not. The cardinal principle is about:
Yet another method divides every single house in 12 parts, each part carries the meaning analogous with the common 12 houses. However, while this method finds its roots in Vedic Astrology, the delineations are not always easy to do. Also, dividing the house in 12 parts is time-consuming too because, as far as we know, no astrology software program exists to calculate the divisions for you.
