CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #175 -- Update Childbirth in Female Solar Returns
June 21, 2019

July is marked by a Solar Eclipse at 10° Cancer that falls exactly on the natal Ascendant of Pope Francis.

Pay particularly attention to him and the Vatican for the coming half year, and especially in Autumn/Fall when the transiting Lunar North Node crosses this degree area and thus his Ascendant as well !

We finally updated some of our research projects, one of which is about childbirth in female solar returns.

More below in our featured article.

In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around July 2-3, July 8-9, July 15-16, July 23 and/or July 30.

During this month of July, the following planetary configurations will affect some birthdays in particular:
  • If you are born around February 1, March 18, May 3, June 18, August 5, September 20, November 5 or December 19, there is agony noticeable.

Something is dissolving, often in a painful or peculiar way.

Some situation is slowly changing and you may feel disappointed.

  • If you are born around January 19, March 4-5, April 19, June 5, July 22, September 7, October 22 or December 6 some tense and profound reversals are under the way.

You may resist any changes and may be radical.

Expect some (physical) stress as well and the need to feel (physically) free.

  • If you are born around January 3, February 16, April 2, May 18, July 4, August 20, October 6 or November 20, health issues may pop up.

You may lack energy and drive and feel weaker, more sensitive to whatever external influences.

Some of you may flee away or try to disappear.

  • If you are born around January 11, February 25, April 11, May 27, July 13, August 29, October 14 or November 28, this month may point to a thrilling and/or surprising turn of events.

Stress and tension are noticeable, but also excitement.
Generally speaking, July 19, 22 and 28 are "less lucky" days.

Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.

The month of July 2019 starts overcast or cloudy.

Fiery Mars enters warm and dry Leo during the July 2 Solar Eclipse that takes place at 10° Cancer.

When a planet changes signs around a lunation, it marks a very sudden and often drastic change in the weather pattern.

Because of the warm and dry qualities of both Mars and Leo, chances are we enter a period of rising temperatures as long as Mars resides in Leo (warm weather and even heatwaves in July and August), falsely fueling the global warming theme and theories.

The July 2 Solar Eclipse at 10° Cancer belongs to the 3 North Saros Cycle which the keen and brilliant astrologer and researcher Bernadette Brady describes as a "over-excessive eclipse family."

The theme of this eclipse family is either related to news involving young people or news that transforms a situation.

The information can cause worry or can cause the person to become obsessive, she says.

The individual may want to undertake large plans or activities which can be very positive as long as the individual doesn't get carried away.

We have seen lots of group involvements in the past half year already, which was indicated by the early January 2019 Solar Eclipse of the 2 South Saros Cycle.

We have also seen that some young people are about to transform the world and this trend will continue for the next six months, and even become more powerful with the help of the July 2 Solar Eclipse.

Interestingly, the young climate activist Greta Thunberg is born on January 3 so that this Solar Eclipse will oppose her natal Sun.

Compare this to Julian Assange who is born on the opposite day, on July 3 and who will experience this Solar Eclipse conjunct his natal Sun.

Additionally, this Solar Eclipse at 10° Cancer is exactly conjunct the natal Ascendant of Pope Francis.

Pay particularly attention to the him and the Vatican for the coming half year, and especially in Autumn/Fall when the transiting Lunar North Node crosses this degree area and thus his Ascendant!

A North Solar Eclipse is always a very personal thing and marks (major) health issues, building a new identity, being enterprising and/or pushing through a personal agenda.

Looking at the degree signification of 10° Cancer, this Solar Eclipse may indicate
  • becoming more and more independent and developing yourself more and more
  • leaving home, the family or the mother
  • unexpected and even unanticipated pregnancy
  • rejecting "mother principles"
  • disagreements with the mother (grandmother or mother-in-law as well)
  • changing the outer appearance in addition with other relationship changes (like having a short haircut if you are a woman)
Venus enters home-loving Cancer around July 3.

Now is the time to do some home improvements or beautification.

In matters of love and romance, Venus in Cancer may cling too much to lovers but also enjoys lots of cozy times at home or in the family.

Around July 5-6, you feel a bit down.

Some of you will be very disappointed in matters of love and face love's sorrow.

Others may face some health issues.

If you are born around February 7, March 24, May 9, June 24-25, August 11, September 26, November 10 or December 25, you may experience the current astrological configurations most.

Between July 7-9 Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 4° Leo while Chiron too stations and turns retrograde at 5° Aries.

When both bodies station and turn backward, expect strikes during the period of the station.

Also, this is not too good a period to sign contracts or make agreements.

If you are a Gemini or Virgo (or have Gemini or Virgo rising in your natal chart), things don't usually go that well around the station.

You may face some health challenges, feel a bit down or face some setbacks now.

It's best to keep a low profile and wait till Mercury turns direct again around August 1.

Both bodies stationing around the same day, often coincide with power outages, internet issues and/or issues related to electricity and electronics, transportation and communication.

This is the more likely because stationing Mercury is conjunct Mars at 4° Leo around July 8-9 as well.

Mind your words because some sharp criticism often does more harm than good.

You may have to reconsider your point(s) of view as well when Mercury turns direct again.

Between July 9-13, the Sun conjoins the Lunar North Node at 17° Cancer and opposes Saturn at 17° Capricorn, while Mars at 6° Leo squares Uranus at 6° Taurus.

This time frame is marked by separation, to be alone, the physical hardship, surgery, physical injuries, accidents and the like...

Clearly, this is not a nice and enjoyable period at all, the more so because some force is involved.

If you are born between January 7-11, February 21-24, April 7-10, May 23- 27, July 9-13, August 25-29, October 10-14 or November 24-28, you will experience these influences most profoundly.

On a mundane level, the degree area of 17° Cancer-Capricorn is associated with fear-mongering, attacks and terror while 6° Leo-Taurus too is about attacks and violence so that it should not be surprising if some false flag or violent event happens during this period.

However, around July 10 there is support and/or help available making an optimistic outcome (and nice day) possible for some of you.

July 12 seems to become cloudy and overcast again.

Around July 14, the Sun at 21° Cancer opposes Pluto at 21° Capricorn, adding to some forceful external events.

Issues about power and powerlessness are to be expected.

Some big transformation may see its way through and have an immense emotional impact.

Some of you may face the death of someone or experience health challenges.

The July 16 Lunar Eclipse at 2° Leo is marked by separation and love at a distance because Venus conjoins the Lunar North Node at 16° Cancer and opposes Saturn at 16° Capricorn around July 17.

Some of you may face financial limitations or restrictions also.

Around July 19, retrograde Mercury re-enters Cancer, suggesting family gatherings and visits.

It's becoming more busy in matters of home and the family with some documents to be looked at.

Some chaotic moments can be experienced in the family, the living quarters or domestic area.

Venus at 21° Cancer opposes Pluto at 21° Capricorn while the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 28° Cancer around July 21, resulting in news about the domestic area and/or real estate matters.

Beware of financial issues initiated from some external situation, event or person.

When Venus and Pluto are opposite, your own resources (Venus) face some influences related to shared resources (Pluto), for good or ill.

Beware of (financial) blackmail or the proverbial honey trap.

The Sun enters its own sign Leo around July 22-23, adding to the fiery and warm Mars in Leo influences.

Around July 24-25 you may feel obliged or even be forced to travel or take a trip.

Some of you may travel or change a location while others may be separated from beloved ones (for whatever reasons).

Breaking news may be part of the current ongoing events.

These influences will especially affect you if you are born around January 16-17, March 2, April 16-17, June 2-3, July 19, September 4, October 20 or December 3-4.

Late July is marked by a YOD-configuration that involves Mars (the apex planet) in mid Leo, Saturn and Neptune.

On a personal level, this YOD suggests a lack of zest, not feeling too well, trying to escape from something but not always being able to.

On a mundane level, this YOD may present violence, maritime issues, disharmony between people or groups and/or a collapse of some sort.

Around July 28, Venus enters hot and playful Leo, indicating time for more entertainment, leisure time and funny gatherings and/or parties.

Because of the attention-seeking traits of Venus in dramatic Leo, you may be more outdoorsy.

Love at first sight is possible for some of you.

There can be lots of activities to do or going on.

July 28 may be quite hectic.

The Sun at 6° Leo square Uranus at 6° Taurus around July 29-30, pointing to an unexpected change of course.

Something unpredictable is going to surprise you.

Around July 30, lots of heavy rain can be expected here and there.

What's New on Our Web Site?

We added a new page about the natal Sun Uranus oppositions which we previously published in a Love Letter.

There are minor editions to report, especially related to the font size on some pages.

Increasing the font size caused some issues with the page layout here and there.

We fixed most issues on newer pages (articles) in the mean time and are checking older pages now too to fix any font issues.

Update Childbirth in Female Solar Returns

Since our latest update a couple of years ago, lots of new solar returns were added to our database making that a new update was overdue.

We currently analyzed 1,139 solar returns of women for the year they gave birth.

Though this is statistical research, it's obvious statistics are not really the right tool to assess life events even though it can give interesting insights.

What we need to find is a chain of different astrological conditions (configurations) that build the picture of "childbirth" together, irrespective whether a single or isolated astrological condition is statistically significant or not.

It's the chain of conditions that have to be found in the childbirth charts that cannot in any way be found in other solar return charts that will allow us to predict a year of childbirth.

Anyway, because to our knowledge software to analyze such chains of configurations does not exist, we are left with what does exist and what can give some insights.

So, now follow the results of the update of our statistical research (we use the modern rulerships and the Topocentric house system that is almost similar to Placidus).
  • The (modern) ruler of the solar Ascendant is most often found in Sagittarius (chi square 18.8) but also in the zodiac signs belonging to the last Quadrant (Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces).
  • the (modern) ruler of the 2nd house is statistically often in Sagittarius or in Aquarius (chi square 23.6) and far less often in any other zodiac sign
  • Pluto is in the 1st house (chi square 20.7)
  • the ruler of the 1st house is in the 1st house (chi square 28.8)
  • the ruler of the 3rd house is in the 4th house (chi square 43.6)
  • the ruler of the 4th house is in the 4th house (chi square 21.6)
  • the ruler of the 5th house is in the 5th house (chi square 40.9)
  • the ruler of the 7th house is in the 8th house (chi square 34.6)
  • the ruler of the 8th house is in the 9th house (chi square 37.1)
  • the ruler of the 12th house is in the 1st house (chi square 71.4)
Interestingly, all these rulerships happen to be in the next or following house (counting counterclockwise), not in the previous house so that there is no regression, but a forward-moving theme of something manifesting in the solar return.
  • Venus and Mars are almost always 300°-360° or 0°-60° apart, meaning they are not farther apart from each other than 60° (irrespective of their waning or waxing phase) (chi square 29.9)
  • Mars and Jupiter are statistically often 150°-210° apart (chi square 70.0)
  • Venus conjunct the MC (orb 1°) (chi square 15.2)
  • the dispositor of the Sun builds a ptolemaic aspect (conjunction, sextile, square, trine or opposition) to the Sun itself (orb 6°) (chi square 8.0). Though the chi square is low,
  • Venus opposes Jupiter (orb 1°) (chi square 13.7)
  • Mercury trines the MC (orb 3°) (chi square 13.5)
  • Jupiter inconjunct the MC (orb 1°) (chi square 13.4)
  • direct Venus squares direct Jupiter (orb 3°) (chi square 13.3)
  • the Moon trines the Ascendant (orb 1°) (chi square 22.4)
  • Uranus conjuncts the Ascendant (orb 3°) (chi square 21.5)
  • the Moon sesquisquare Pluto (135° aspect) (orb 3°) (chi square 26.7)
  • Venus trines Pluto (orb 1°) (chi square 14.4)
  • Mars conjunct the 5th house cusp (orb 1°) (chi square 13.7)
  • the Moon squares Uranus (orb 3°) (chi square 12.7)
  • the Moon in Pisces and Venus in Taurus (chi square 14.6)
  • Pluto trines the MC (orb 1°) (chi square 12.0)
  • the Moon in Cancer and Mercury in Virgo (chi square 13.7)
  • the ruler of the Ascendant conjunct the Sun (orb 6°) (chi square 15.8)
  • Mercury, ruler of the Ascendant squares the 5th-11th house axis (orb 3°) (chi square 13.7)
  • the Moon, ruler of the 11th house, squares the IC-MC axis (orb 3°) (chi square 15.0)
  • Venus, ruler of the 3rd house, in a ptolemaic aspect (conjunct, sextile, square, trine or opposite) with the 5th-11th house cusp (orb 3°) (chi square 13.3)
  • the ruler of the MC opposite Jupiter (orb 6°) (chi square 12.9)
  • Pluto, ruler of the 5th house, in a ptolemaic aspect (conjunct, sextile, square, trine or opposite) with the Ascendant-Descendant axis (orb 3°) (chi square 12.8)
  • the ruler of the Ascendant in the 10th house (chi square 12.3)
  • Venus, ruler of the MC, conjunct the 3rd house cusp (orb 3°) (chi square 12.5)
  • the Moon, ruler of the Ascendant, squares the 5th-11th house axis (orb 3°) (chi square 12.1)
  • Venus, ruler of the MC, conjunct the 5th house cusp (orb 3°) (chi square 12.0)
  • the Moon in Pisces (chi square 9.4)
  • the Ascendant between 1°-2° Taurus (chi square 91.3)
  • the Ascendant between 19°-20° Virgo (chi square 21.0)
  • the 5th hjouse cusp (Topocentric system) between 2°-3° Capricorn (chi square 18.2)
  • the Moon between 5°-6° Pisces (chi square 15.1)
  • the MC between 8°-9° Cancer (chi square 12.5)
  • the 5th house cusp (Topocentric system) between 18°19° Cancer (chi square 12.1)
  • Venus between 0°-10° Virgo (chi 13.1)
When looking at the midpoints, the following ones were statistically significant:
  • 8th harmonic (45° dial/list):
    • ME/UR = VE (chi square 12.2)
    • VE/KN = MC (chi square 11.1)
    • SO/MO = SA (chi square 10.9)
  • 12th harmonic (30° dial/list):
    • PL/Pallas = AS (chi square 16.6)
    • SO/AS = SA (chi square 15.7)
    • VE/JU = PL (chi square 12.7)
