CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #177 -- Natal Sun Saturn oppositions
August 21, 2019
Dear

Lots of events and activities will follow each other in September, resulting in a highly busy month.

Some key points that will be delineated in our monthly forecasts below are: intermittent periods of heavy rain, tenaciously hooking onto "the old ways" and the persistent unwillingness for some people to move forward, among others.

Never forget where we are heading though!

The current powerful and strict conservative, censoring and limiting Capricorn characteristics will slowly fade away with the upcoming Jupiter-Saturn conjunction at 0° Aquarius starting late 2020 and beyond.

Indeed, from 2021 on more liberating astrological configurations are going to change the current world structure COMPLETELY in unseen ways because a totally new ERA awaits us.

The old 200-year and heavy, materialistic earth cycle will late 2020 (2021) dissolve and make place for a "lighter" and immaterial 200-year air cycle.

And when highly transformative Pluto will leave restrictive and heavy Capricorn and start to transit liberating and freedom-loving Aquarius in 2023, you will not believe your eyes anymore because of the futuristic changes that will become reality and part of our daily life.

Only love

In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around September 1, 8, 15, 22-23 and/or 29.

During this month of September, the following planetary configuration will affect some birthdays in particular:
  • If you are born around January 7-8, February 21, April 7, May 23, July 9, August 25, October 10-11 or November 24-25 some hard (often physical) work is going on.

Enforced changes are another possible outcome, as well as the threat of some loss or separation.

Progress may be stalled or there is delay in some developing stories.

There can be issues with body structures (bones, teeth,...) and/or calcification or some physical obstruction.
Generally speaking, September 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 are "less lucky" days.

Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.

The whole month of September is very much under the influence of the following highly powerful astrological configurations that we will discuss in the forecast:
  • The exact Saturn-Lunar North Node opposition that happens between 13° Capricorn (Saturn's position) and 13° Cancer (the position of the mean Lunar North Node).

  • The first half of September is also marked by the ongoing stellium in Virgo with 4 planets/bodies (the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars) still residing in this sign.

Some menial, meticulous and analytical work still keep you busy.

Most earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) as well as the water sign Pisces may find love or experience exciting moments or opportunities in matters of love and romance during this period.

However, during this period of the Virgo stellium, Libras still face some challenges and/or setbacks.

Libras should pay attention to their health but may also be in a treacherous period and it would not surprise if some people work behind their back.

On a mundane level, and generally speaking, a stellium in Virgo, especially when Mercury is in Virgo as well, promotes the growth of bugs and insects.

Chances are pests can be a burden here and there as long as the stellium is active and Mercury resides in Virgo.

  • Another planetary aspect that will last the month long is the Jupiter-Neptune square that suggests intermittent heavy rain here and there, among others.
If you are born around January 5, February 3, March 5, April 4, May 5, June 5, July 6-7, August 7, September 7, October 7-8, November 7 or December 6-7, around September 1-2 you are reluctant or hesitant to bond or relate.

You feel a bit inhibited, shy and tend to withdraw.

There is some difficulty expressing yourself to someone else or to others.

Around September 2-3, the Sun meets Mars at 9° Virgo, while Venus at 15° Virgo squares Jupiter at 15° Sagittarius and Mercury conjoins Mars at 10° Virgo.

That's a lot of activity all at once, suggesting lots is going on in many ways!

The Sun-Mars and Mercury-Mars conjunction (soon to be followed by the Sun-Mercury conjunction) in Virgo suggest a critical mindset and attitude.

It's a time of lots of talks, meetings, discussions and even disputes but also of manual work and handicraft.

Early September requires diligent, analytical and meticulous work.

However, the additional astrological configurations that are active early September may also result in, among others, too impulsive reactions, technical issues, too nervous a drive, to be quarrelsome, to be ready for action, to want to make a strong point, to take quick decisions, to do things a new way, tremendous upheaval in rebellion, overexertion, the drive against control and the tendency to rebel, the high tension in a group, a mandatory trip or travel or change of the place, (traffic or transportation) accident(s), to resist something.

The waning Venus-Jupiter square indicates indulgence, immorality, the need for comfort and leisure time, to be seductive and/or to mislead others.

There can be some (financial) expenses or losses as well.

Around September 3-4, the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 11° Virgo while Venus at 17° Virgo opposes Neptune at 17° Pisces.

Early September may bring new encounters, new relationships and/or news from acquaintances and/or friends.

You tend to idealize someone, long for someone who is not present and/or who is not "available" just now.

Relationships are lived in the imagination or in a platonic way.

There is a huge longing for peace, harmony and beauty.

Some physical workout like dancing is one of the best things to do just now.

Around September 6, Mercury at 15° Virgo squares Jupiter at 15° Sagittarius.

This waning square with both planets strong in their own sign tries to keep up appearances and points to lots of information to be absorbed and learned.

There can be misjudgments and/or disappointments regarding beliefs, worldview and/or concepts that no longer seem to be valid.

Beware of miscommunication, gossip, hoaxes, exaggerating things or putting them out of context.

There is a small line with lies.

What's more, this waning square happens on so-called "critical degrees" (which all 15° in a sign are) and this aspect creates widespread confusion and hectic chaos, for whatever reason.

Legal documents play an important role early September.

In astrometeorology, this Mercury-Jupiter square may indicate heavy and even stormy wind here and there.

Between September 5-8, Jupiter is the apex planet of a mutable T-square that encompasses Mercury, Venus and Neptune.

This T-square points to high hopes, building air castles, engulfing in beauty, acting something out, love dreams, unrealistic expectations, illusions, among others.

In matters of love and romance, this aspect suggests unrealistic expectations.

This T-square is best lived in a creative and artistic way, denoting this period is best suited to listen to music, attend a concert, enjoy photography, act, write (love) poems etc.

Following astrometeorology, any planetary configuration that involves Jupiter and Neptune suggests intermittent periods of heavy rain, resulting in floods, inundations and other water-related issues alike (like drowning, maritime issues,...).

Also, following mundane astrology, and generally speaking, the uncovering of fraud or criminality may be part of the outcome.

Around September 7, Mercury at 17° Virgo opposes Neptune at 17° Pisces.

Here too, we find both planets powerful in their own sign.

Whatever planet Neptune touches, it represents something that is secret, that dissolves or vanishes or is kept hidden.

Hidden and/or secret or undisclosed documents, lost documents, theft etc. can all be part of the current "quality of time."

The Sun at 15° Virgo squares Jupiter at 15° Sagittarius around September 8.

This waning square points to a lot of exaggeration and overdoing.

A lot is bluff and ballooning behavior.

There is a strong focus on legal and foreign affairs and a desire to expand.

Looking at things more realistically seems to be asked too much.

The Sun at 17° Virgo opposes Neptune at 17° Pisces around September 10, marking a day of idealization and the disappearance or leave-taking of someone.

Between September 7-11, Jupiter is the apex planet of a T-square in which the Sun and Neptune are involved.

This T-square suggests a period of indulgence but also of passive resistance, creative imagination, successful inspiration, financial expenses and/or even wasteful expenditure.

Mars at 16° Virgo squares Jupiter at 16° Sagittarius around September 12, suggesting irresponsible behavior, lots of (financial) expenses and/or an immense problem that changes everything profoundly.

The degree meaning of 16° in mutable signs is a very public one.

Mars and Jupiter on this degree suggest legal issues made public, but also widespread public actions or activities going viral.

On a personal level, this may indicate births or marriages but also other beneficial ventures.

With Mars at 17° Virgo also opposing Neptune at 17° Pisces around the September 14 Full Moon, Jupiter again is the apex planet of a T-square that encompasses both Mars and Neptune.

You may have noticed in the mean time that Jupiter, powerful in its own sign Sagittarius, is the apex planet of a mutable T-square most part of September.

Mutable signs are "spreading signs", a significance that closely matches the expansive and outgoing traits of Jupiter.

Expect lots of things to be propagated, made public, published, spread... the whole month long!

There are high hopes as well.

Around the same period of the September 14 Full Moon, Mercury and Venus conjoin at 28° Virgo and enter 0° Libra quickly thereafter.

This ingress marks an important Full Moon period, the more so because Mercury and Venus hit a so-called "critical degree" (0° Libra) that signifies agreements, contracts, entering a new relationship or starting over with someone else, the love meeting, the money talks, the love talks, the business talks, the public gatherings, activities or events, the acquaintance in public, the appreciation of art.

Following astrometeorology, a planetary ingress during a lunation highly often marks a big or overnight change in the weather pattern.

Stationing Saturn at 13° Capricorn opposes the mean Lunar North Node at 13° Cancer around September 15.

This aspect remains active the whole month long but is now exact.

This aspect signifies issues with elderly people, higher-ups or authorities, the employer and/or boss, a father figure and/or people who have climbed the (social) ladder.

Illness and/or death may occur because of the restricting, "taking" and energy-draining influence this aspect represents.

Some people may be down a bit or feel lots of obstruction as if nothing moves forward really.

Health issues related to the teeth, bones, skin may occur more frequently now, but an increased risk of colds may be noticed as well.

If you are born around January 3-4, February 2, March 4, April 3, May 4, June 4, July 5-6, August 6, September 6, October 6-7, November 6 or December 5-6, life may be quite heavy and clouded, bringing some challenges and hurdles to overcome.

Around September 16 you may experience some nice news, cards or gifts.

You may as well purchase or order some nice goods or products.

Around September 18 Saturn at 13° Capricorn stations and turns direct again.

We should not forget that this station happens when Saturn also opposes the mean Lunar North Node at the same numerical degree (13°) because it takes with it a collective meaning.

Saturn's station suggests detachment and even separation, often because of a death or distance with someone.

Stationing Saturn opposing the Lunar North Node emphasizes a highly conservative, strict and harsh period for some.

It's the aspect of tight attachments and tenaciously hooking to the past, to old behavior, trying to turn back the clock of time.

This aspect denotes the persistent unwillingness to move on, move forward and let go.

All actions and reactions are based upon old and even past ways of behavior and based upon censorship, restrictions, limitations, setting boundaries and building walls.

No worries though because in (late 2020-) 2021, liberating transits will start to manifest powerfully, slowly beating conservative and strict behavior.

Following mundane astrology, stationing Saturn in its own sign Capricorn is often related to collapses, things that tumble or fall down (be it buildings, cranes, ceilings,...), resulting in material damage.

However, the falling down has also to be taken figuratively with some higher ups being fired or taking leave, for whatever reason.

Big corporations, banks and the governments are in the spotlight because they are part of our world's structure and society (represented by Capricorn).

Around September 21, Jupiter at 16° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 16° Pisces, denoting periods of heavy rain here and there with the resulting inundations, floods or other water-related issues (like drowning or maritime issues).

Also, this waning square between two very powerful and strong planets (both in their own sign) suggests careless spending, financial expenses and/or losses.

Financial fraud is often indicated during Jupiter-Neptune aspects and it would thus not surprise if some new big cases are publicly revealed his month.

Around September 22, Mercury at 13° Libra squares both stationing Saturn and the Lunar North Node and is the apex planet of a cardinal T-square.

This T-square marks a busy (hectic) but also cloudy period.

Separation is in the air and some sad news as well.

The waning Mercury-Saturn square usually denotes sad news indeed but also a restless mind that needs to think a lot and gets stuck in negativity in the end.

This aspect often points to some minor illness (the common cold for example) as well so that it pays to take care of your health now too.

The Sun enters Libra around September 23 and feels a bit alone and/or disappointed.

Some health issues pertaining to you or someone in your surroundings may be part of it.

Venus at 13° Libra squares both stationing Saturn and the Lunar North Node, building a T-square that, again, creates a distance in your relationships (in the widest sense).

It's likely someone or a beloved one is absent and/or you experience a distant or detached relationship with someone or with others.

You may feel a bit sad and/or lonely.

You may feel inhibited and/or cannot easily express your feelings or emotions just now.

The waning Venus-Saturn square is a painful one in matters of love and romance because external restrictions sadly block the expression of love.

Following astrometeorology, all Venus-Saturn aspects show cloudy and/or overcast weather.

Mercury at 20° Libra squares Pluto at 20° Capricorn around September 26-27, reflecting annoyance and a restless obsessive mind.

Natal Sun Saturn oppositions

In this article we present our empirical research results pertaining to the natal Sun-Saturn oppositions.

Thanks to the Swiss Astrodatabank we were able to research the natal Sun-Saturn oppositions of many people.

We used a small orb of 3° so to get the essence of the aspect without interference of possible other aspects.

As usual, our research is divided into male and female horoscopes.

On demand, we will now also include some of the names of people who have a certain prominent trait.

Natal Sun-Saturn oppositions in female charts

On average, lots of women with a tight Sun-Saturn opposition are widowed (irrespective of the number of marriages like Empress Carlota of Mexico or Claire McNamara).

Interestingly, when one of the personal planets, points or bodies is found at 14° in cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn), the Sun-Saturn opposition in female charts may indicate the woman is never married (Carol A. Peel, Romy Ransom).

With Venus in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius), the Sun-Saturn opposition in a female chart tends to highlight a highly bitter divorce (Ivana Trump, Francoise Gauquelin, Sandra Allard).

However, this aspect does not prevent a long-term marriage (irrespective of the number of marriages) (Francoise Gauquelin, Eleonora Kimmel.

Many of the women with a natal Sun-Saturn opposition are sociable but also ambitious which is often reflected in dating or marrying a noted mate (Ivana Trump, Marilyn Wilson, Claudia von Schierstedt, Francoise Gauquelin, Princess Aiko).

Some psychological or physical challenges and issues result in seclusion, confinement or tough physical restrictions (Empress Carlota of Mexico, Linda Carlton, Tiffany Chin).

Lots of these women are business-minded and love administyration (either professionally or in private).

Natal Sun-Saturn oppositions in male charts

On average, men with a tight Sun-Saturn opposition are very hard workers (Vincent Bugliosi, Charlie Dierkop, Gianni Agnelli, Hans Christian Andersen).

They often experienced childhood trauma like poverty, a parent who died or divorced parents (Gianni Agnelli, Hans Christian Andersen, Frank Capra, Herb Emery, Upton Sinclair, Dan Seals).

Many of the men are born in a large family (Frank Capra, Gianni Agnelli, Franco Harris).

Despite some possible divorces, separations, love affairs and/or mistresses, many were able to maintain a long-lasting marriage too (Frank Capra, Gianni Agnelli, Tony Randall, Bill Balke, George Deukmejian, Peter Guralnick, Gordon McRae, Henry Mancini) as well.

In case there is a child, there is at least one son.

Men with a natal Sun-Saturn opposition tend to be very articulate (Michio Kaku, Peter Guralnick).
