In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around August 5-6, 12, 18-19 and/or 25. During this month of August, the following planetary configuration will affect some birthdays in particular:
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are also a couple of powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that will be exact this month and that will mark this month's Zeitgeist. The Uranus/Neptune and Pluto/Chiron midpoints (UR/NE = PL/CH) both equal each other. Additionally, Pluto hits the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint (PL = JU/NE) this month. The UR/NE = PL/CH planetary picture suggests, among others, the internet outages affecting many, the tragic floods or inundations, the numerous missing persons, the chaos imposed by higher forces/powers or "karma", the massive power to turn the rules upside down. The PL = JU/NE midpoint combination on the other hand is indicative of, among others, financial issues, the big financial (or market) crash, huge expenses or financial losses, the big scandal(s) or corruption or fraud, fanaticism based upon beliefs or perceptions or imagination, the suppression of some ideologies, the big waste. There is evidence that this midpoint is involved in drownings and severe water-related issues (floods, inundations, profound precipitation, torrential rain) as well. Around August 1, Mercury at 10° Leo opposes Saturn at 10° Aquarius, suggesting some information and/or documents being withheld or just delayed. There are blockages and/or restrictions that may prevent you to say, post or think something. Understand that all oppositions that involve restrictive, limiting, blocking Saturn indicate a NO to whatever question arises. Information, articles, writings, messages etc. are controlled and/or even rejected. Something can be annulled also. Usually, when Mercury and Saturn build a challenging aspect, there is some "bad" or sad news to be expected and everything related to communication and transportation tends to be(come) a rocky experience. Expect a bummer around these days. Following astrometeorology, Mercury-Saturn aspects show grey, clouded and overcast weather. The day after, around August 2, the Sun at 10° Leo opposes Saturn too at 10° Aquarius. The Sun is very strong and powerful in its own sign, suggesting that some powerful person (a VIP, celebrity, leader of state, minister etc.) faces a "no", a setback and is not allowed to "shine" fully. Your own creative self-expression too cannot unfold properly and you feel hindered in your "Life Force." Some health issues may be noticeable too. Anyway, don't expect too much things going as you wish these first August days. The current energies are just restricting and limiting. Around the same day of August 2, there are clouds in the sky. Mercury at 14° Leo squares Uranus at 14° Taurus around August 3-4. There is some urgency, an emergency and a situation that needs a very quick response. This waxing square suggests not following the official narrative(s), venting one's own opinion(s) and thus being perceived as contrary. Expect opinions and ideas to change suddenly and overnight. Also, an e-mail, text message, letter or phone call may trigger a big U-turn. In some instances, this aspect points to the news about the death of a male person. At 14° in fixed signs, some of you may have to escape or flee away from a certain difficult situation head over heels. Prepare for an unexpected change of course and traffic jams or transportation issues. Following astrometeorology, this waxing square is indicative of very powerful winds and possible storm. If you are born around January 4, February 3, March 4-5, April 3-4, May 4-5, June 4-5, July 6, August 6-7, September 6-7, October 7, November 6 or December 6, these days may bring some exciting news, ideas, gifts or presents and messages of love. Some sudden enjoyable encounters are possible too for you and some of you may even experience love at first sight. Enjoy music, dance and some artistic moments now anyway. The Sun at 14° Leo squares Uranus at 14° Taurus around August 6-7, pointing to a lingering (emergency) situation. This can be an accident-prone period. You prefer to keep your independence and don't feel attached to anyone or anything. Around August 9, there are clouds in the sky. Around the same day of August 9-10, Venus at 22° Virgo opposes Neptune at 22° Pisces while Mars at 7° Virgo squares the Lunar Nodes. There are longings and unfulfilled wishes and you are possibly separated from a beloved one. Regular readers of our monthly forecasts know already that the Mars-Lunar Nodes squares are challenging and called a bloody combo, suggesting that accidents, natural disasters, shootings etc. might cause physical injuries and even death for many or for a group of people. Indeed, it's a violent combo and this time, the transiting Moon too will conjunct Mars and square the Nodes... Additionally, there is lots of mental strain and, following astrometeorology, some intense wind cannot be ruled out. Around August 10, there are sunny spells. Mercury at 28° Leo opposes Jupiter at 28° Aquarius around the same day of August 10-11, suggesting the publication of or publicity pertaining to documents, letters or information. There is some public announcement going on. Mercury enters its own sign Virgo around August 11. It's time for some detailed analysis and a selective investigation. Health and menial work take the upper hand during Mercury's stay in this sign of health and work. Some work may require or even demand lots of meticulous work. Also beware of an increase in annoying insects. Following astrometeorology, there can be some cooler temps but also (more?) rain here and there. Around August 14, there are sunny spells. Around the same day of August 14-15 there are hostile reactions to explanations that confuse or against the acceptance of theories or narratives or laxity in meeting obligations. There is a very strong idealism noticeable. In some instances the current astrological configurations point to an immense issue or problem that changes everything dramatically, drastically. The emotional impact can be huge. Huge scandals, fraud and/or corruption may be part of the mid August Zeitgeist. Some of you may face huge financial losses or expenses too. Following astrometeorology, this can be a very rainy period with some water-related natural disaster(s) going on. If you are born around January 14-15, February 28, April 14, May 31, July 17, September 2, October 18 or December 2, you may feel these intense energies most. Mercury at 6° Virgo squares the mean Lunar Nodes around the same day of August 15, indicating a very hectic and busy period. There is lots of buzz going on. Around August 15-16, there are clouds in the sky. Around August 16, Venus enters its own sign Libra, pointing to (new) agreements, contracts, meetings and encounters. There can be gatherings and social events going on that attract a large crowd. Some of you may start a new job or project. Mercury and Mars conjoin at 12° Virgo while the Sun at 27° Leo opposes Jupiter at 27° Aquarius and Uranus stations and turns backward at 14° Taurus, all happening around August 18-19. The Mercury-Mars conjunction often coincides with road, traffic and/or transportation accidents. Fast driving, impulsive or inattentive behavior may often be the cause of such accidents. Beware of cuts and physical injuries, generally speaking. This aspect can be quite vocal so that it's best to not be too impatient and argumentative. The Sun-Jupiter opposition wants too much, more than it can deliver. There is exaggeration, some situation is overblown and the question of responsibility and accountability might arise. Often, Sun-Jupiter aspects suggest some careless behavior but also a period of moralizing, propagating. Stationing Uranus in the earth sign Taurus will now affect the lives of all Aquarians and Aquarius Ascendants. You may feel down a bit or face some health issues and overall, things don't go as you wish for around the station. Stationing Uranus is able to bring us all suddenly down (to earth) for a moment though. There can be some difficulty to sleep and you may feel more irritated. Following astrometeorology, stationing Uranus may coincide with storms and/or thunder. In the earth sign Taurus of money, comfort and possessions, stationing Uranus is able to stir and even shake things up quite a bit. Because the degree area of 14° Taurus is linked to some material crisis situation (the disruption or even loss of possessions, money, comfort and the like), we expect numerous more issues related to natural disasters and the financial market or material damage in some way. If you are born around January 2, February 1, March 2-3, April 1-2, May 2, June 2-3, July 4, August 4, September 4-5, October 5, November 4 or December 4, these days are about venting anger, possible strikes or manifestations and protests, traffic disruptions etc. Around the August 22 Full Moon which happens at 29° Aquarius, the Sun enters the earth sign Virgo. There is lots of work ahead. This is a Full Moon period that leaves you dissatisfied and for some, it also indicates some kind of separation of beloved ones for whatever reason. Following mundane astrology, this Full Moon may coincide with maritime disasters and shipwreck. Following astrometeorology, the Full Moon is at a degree of lots of precipitation, severe wind or storm and/or drownings. Around the same day of August 22, there are clouds in the sky. Around August 23, there are sunny spells. Mercury at 22° Virgo opposes Neptune at 22° Pisces around August 24-25. With both planets very powerful in their own signs, there is a misty or foggy atmosphere. There can be secrets, undisclosed documents or hidden information and you cannot know what is right or wrong. When Mercury and Neptune build an aspect, finding the truth is never easy. Following mundane astrology, both planets in opposition often coincide with gas explosions. Around August 28, there are sunny spells. The Sun at 6° Virgo squares the mean Lunar Nodes around the same day of August 28-29, often marking a period of stress, poor judgement and highly unstable conditions, with the coming weeks following the aspect also being notable in terms of disasters and extreme natural phenomena. This is the more so because the Black Moon (Lilith, not the body but the the mean lunar apogee) will exactly conjoin the Lunar North Node early September. So, a heads up that some natural disasters (earthquakes, earth slides, etc.) are possible to follow and/or increase in number. More in our September forecasts for sure. Around August 29, there are clouds in the sky. Mercury enters Libra around August 29-30, marking a time of lots of changes of the place, encounters and buzz. Women in Distant Love RelationshipsIn this article we present our preliminary statistical research results involving astrological configurations that are found in natal charts of women who were or are involved in long distant love relationship(s).Thanks to the Swiss Astrodatabank we were able to research 17 natal charts with Rodden Rating A and above of women who fitted that description. Not all research results are statistically significant though because of the small data set, but nevertheless, there are some very interesting observations to be made. In a future article we will delve deeper into the natal charts of men involved in a long-distant love bond.
