In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around October 6 (!), 12, 19 and/or 26-27. During this month of October, the following planetary configurations will likely affect some birthdays in particular:
Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are a couple of powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that will be exact this month and that will mark this month's Zeitgeist. The lingering Neptune/Pluto midpoint hits Jupiter (JU = NE/PL) again while the Uranus/Neptune midpoint hits the Pluto/Chiron midpoint (UR/NE = PL/CH). The lingering JU = NE/PL midpoint is indicative of, among others, greatly developing (spiritual) insight, the bankruptcies, the addictions (drugs, medication etc.), the drowning(s), the immense or unstoppable precipitation and/or rain, the floods and inundations, to play games, to act something out, the increasing social or political pressure, the developing desire to enjoy a better future. The UR/NE = PL/CH midpoint combination, on the other hand, is indicative of, among others, the internet outages or disruptions, the internet or digital or virtual world influencing the masses, virtual reality influencing the masses, the massive chaos and confusion, the uncertainty about the future, the floods and/or inundations, the chaos, the desperation, the big leap in spiritual insight and awareness, the unreal is happening, the psychological trauma, stepping over the line with a point of no return, big unrest and irritation. Around September 30 - October 1, Venus at 22° Scorpio squares Jupiter at 22° Aquarius, with Jupiter being the stronger planet as Venus is in the sign of its fall. There can be expenses and even financial losses. Some of you may face legal issues over money and/or possessions as well. Moreover, Venus and Jupiter in a challenging aspect also suggest legal issues regarding a loved one. This is an aspect of taking it easy, not to say it's about laziness, but there is some "let it be" and "who cares" attitude noticeable. If you are born around February 11, March 28, May 13, June 29, August 15, September 30, November 14-15 or December 29, you may overindulge with anything pleasant and some of you may get great metaphysical insight. There are love ideals and fantasies but also creative urges going on. Following astrometeorology, these first October days can bring lots of precipitation here and there. Additionally, on the same day of October 1, Mercury at 24° Libra squares Pluto at 24° Capricorn, suggesting obsessively fighting windmills. There is annoyance and vexation around. Some information or document seems to be withheld for some reason. Following astrometeorology, there can be intense wind here and there. If you are born around February 13, March 30, May 15, June 30 - July 1, August 17, October 2, November 16 or December 30, around October 1-2, love might be in the air and for some of you these early October days are exciting and show that camaraderie and joining with like-minded people is important. Around October 2, there are clouds in the sky. Around October 3, there are sunny spells. If you are born around January 3, February 16, April 2, May 18, July 4, August 20, October 6 or November 20, around October 5-6, you are very attracted to someone, and you feel popular. Some of you may experience a very successful day and this day is a good one for doing enjoyable things together, making love, enjoying creative projects and gather together. However, the October 6 New Moon period has some very upsetting energies, generally speaking, suggesting sudden disruptions, changes of course, plans that get interrupted. Prepare for the unforeseen during this violent, turbulent and accident-prone period. Following astrometeorology, some very disruptive and disproportional weather changes are likely to occur here and there, so, beware! If you are born around January 4, February 17, April 3, May 19, July 5, August 21, October 7 or November 21, around the same day of October 6, there is love's sorrow and sadness. You seem to be preoccupied and lack zest. For some of you there is unrequited love and you don't feel in the mood to work or do anything. Still around the same period of October 6, Pluto stations and turns direct at 24° Capricorn. Stationing Pluto in the sign of the outer skin, fences, boundaries and the like often coincides with natural disasters that are related to the earth's crust like earthquakes, earth-slides, mining and underground disasters etc. This can be a stormy period as well as Pluto is now in its most intense phase. Because the station happens at a very harsh degree of things "moving", tyranny and collapsing structures, we additionally expect lots (of scandals) to come out into the open from now on. Pluto might have been able to dig deep (underground) while it was retrograde and now that it is able to start to move forward, chances are it will start to reveal investigative work with things being brought to the surface. Stationing Pluto can indicate shocking experiences and/or events as Pluto rules a water sign (Scorpio) and is always involved in situations that have a huge emotional impact. This whole New Moon period is certainly to become an eye-opener, bringing lots out into the open, into the public. This is the more so because the New Moon is at 13° Libra, a very public degree of publicity, releasing or disclosing things, big announcements and spreading news far and wide. Venus enters Sagittarius around October 7, indicating news spreading far and wide indeed and lots of money transactions. Foreign and international affairs are on the agenda. Some of you may receive messages, letters, parcels, presents from a loved one "abroad", living in a far-away place. Love is met when dealing with foreigners or people of another class or society. The Sun and Mars conjoin at 15° Libra, a so-called "critical degree", around October 7-8. This is a very passionate combo, especially on this degree area, and either it indicates love at first sight, sudden exciting connections that may be temporary, a love affair, or sudden heavy clashes, fights, violence, disagreements and physical injuries. Generally speaking, this combo has to learn to respect boundaries (in the widest sense of the word). Around October 8, there are sunny spells. If you are born around January 7, February 20, April 7, May 23, July 9, August 25, October 10 or November 24, around October 8-9, you are reveling in love and may be in a poetic mood. Beware of the mind playing tricks. There can be unfulfilled wishes and longings. This is an artistic and creative period anyway. Around October 9, there are clouds in the sky. Around the same day of October 9, the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 16° Libra and Mercury conjoins Mars too at the same degree. Indeed, the Sun, Mercury and Mars meet all together at 16° Libra, suggesting talks, discussions, but also disputes, teaching, lecturing. Beware of traffic accidents and physical injuries around this time frame. It's still a very violent period, in different ways. Around October 10-11, Venus at 3° Sagittarius opposes the mean Lunar North Node at 3° Gemini. Matters of love and money may be restricted or pose some issues. During this period, you may easily feel misunderstood, not appreciated. Additionally, possessions and/or money may be blocked or cause some trouble. This is not a time for socializing and you better keep a low profile. If you are born around January 11, February 25, April 11, May 27, July 13, August 29, October 14 or November 28, around October 13-14, there is optimism in love and you have really high hopes and love ideals. Also, this is a very creative time and you may now excel, especially in photography and/or music. Enjoy a nice concert. Around October 15, there are clouds in the sky. Around October 16, there are sunny spells. Around October 17, the Sun at 24° Libra squares Pluto at 24° Capricorn, suggesting suffering because of suppression, enforced rules and harsh directives. Around October 18, Jupiter stations at 22° Aquarius while Mercury too stations and turns direct again at 10° Libra. Both planets stationing and turning direct around the same time, bring relief and some news or an announcement. When Mercury stations, Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini Ascendants and Virgo Ascendants) will rejoice. There can be an enjoyable encounter or meeting today. Stationing Jupiter going direct slowly brings more optimism but tends to overdo as well. Following mundane astrology, stationing Mercury often coincides with protests, manifestations and/or strikes. Stationary going direct Jupiter more often coincides with fires. Mars at 24° Libra squares Pluto at 24° Capricorn around October 21-22, which is quite a violent combo. Following mundane astrology, this waning square often coincides with natural disasters and conflicts. It's a period of turmoil and the resulting damage. Often, this square coincides with power outages, blackouts, internet outages etc. Around October 22, there are sunny spells. Around October 23, there are clouds in the sky. The Sun enters Scorpio around the same day of October 23, increasing the intensity. There can be enforced changes, with very hard work ahead. Beware of power conflicts. If you are born around January 16, March 1-2, April 16, June 2, July 18-19, September 3-4, October 19-20 or December 3, around October 25, you feel a lack of zest, feel disappointed and sad. It's as if your labor and actions don't count and you feel paralyzed. The Sun at 7° Scorpio squares Saturn at 7° Aquarius around October 30, indicating tenacious resistance and a very rigid, strict behavior. Your creative self-expression is blocked and cannot really unfold. Still around October 30, there are clouds in the sky. Around the same day of October 30, Mars enters Scorpio, focusing on abuse and abusive behavior (related to all the Scorpio themes). We have found this Mars position to coincide with an increase in sex scandals coming into the spotlight. Some of you will now need to fight for your life, for your future, for your reputation. Natal Sun Mars ConnectionsIn a previous Love Letter, we delineated the Sun Venus connections.Now it's time to delve deeper into the Sun Mars connections. In most cases, the following configurations are used (there are more though (!) to define Sun Mars connections but this would lead us too far and make it more complicated than necessary):
What do Sun Mars connections signify? The Sun Mars connection makes for a self-starter, someone who is able to work independently and even may have some workaholic tendencies. Most of them are business owners or entrepreneurs. Interestingly, when two fiery bodies/planets are connected, chances are, things may get heated, resulting in kind of aggression, competitive drive, and combative spirit. This is the more so when angered or when one's competence is questioned. When additionally a powerful Moon-Mars connection is found, there is the likelihood of auto-aggressive behavior (self-mutilation in one or the other form). There is the continuous need or urge to be busy, to act upon everything, which may do more harm at times. There is a conquering spirit noticeable as well. People with a predominant Sun Mars connection in the natal chart repress emotions by being (too) busy, often ending in "depressive" periods. In the natal chart of women, this connection increases the odds of attracting machos, "strong" partners. In the natal charts of men this predominant connection coincides with feeling superior to women and taking the lead. People with such a powerful Sun Mars connection need lots of space to be active physically and to temper their restlessness.
