CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #216 -- Natal Sun-Uranus Connections
November 21, 2022
Dear

Now that the year comes to a close, it's perhaps interesting to look ahead and see what 2023 will be about astrologically.

There are four general and basic themes that will mark 2023 (in order of importance):

  • Pluto enters Aquarius for the first time and will go back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius until late 2024 when it will remain in Aquarius for some 20 years
  • Saturn enters Pisces
  • the Lunar Nodes switch signs with the North Node entering Aries and the South Node entering Libra
  • Jupiter walks through Aries and enters Taurus from mid 2023
On a mundane level, in the past, the entrance of Pluto in liberating Aquarius had a HUGE impact on the Vatican (and religions in a wider sense), monarchies, the way of governing and it resulted in a new sexual revolution (liberating women).

Aquarius is a very humanitarian, decentralized, detached and non-religious, cerebral or mental sign.

Hence, Pluto in Aquarius will bring back again power (Pluto) to the people as a whole, as a group (Aquarius).

Because of the additional retrograde motion into Capricorn, Pluto will take a couple of years for this to start manifesting more permanently so that it's not realistic to expect things to happen instantly and when things happen it will go in quite a disruptive, rebellious, unsteady and turbulent way.

What is of importance now is that Pluto will hover over the last degree(s) of Capricorn and the 1st degree of Aquarius most of the year 2023.

29° Capricorn and 0° Aquarius are so-called "critical degrees" and you may remember that in late December 2019, Jupiter and Saturn were conjunct at 0° Aquarius too.

This highly important degree area reflects a BIG U-turn, changing course 180°, a shock experience and (a) big crisis situation(s).

Now that forceful and generational Pluto, which always brings about forceful events with a huge emotional impact, stays at 0° Aquarius for some time, we might thus expect (a) severe crisis situation(s) that turn(s) everything upside down (once more).

It's likely to be heavy because, when Pluto remains at these critical degrees for some time, it suggests there is a "karmic" connection.

Expect shocks, disruptions, upheaval anyway!

Aquarius cannot stand hierarchy and centralized power and in the coming years, this will start to become more noticeable when Pluto moves on in Aquarius, enforcing equality and more humanitarian interests.

Understand that everything that now is still centralized (like power structures, energy, money, intelligence, governments, social media etc...) will NOT survive this heavy transit.

Hence, monarchies who are basically a blend of centralized Leo and authoritarian Capricorn energies, will start to crumble more and more and eventually disappear further down the road!

The same is true for religions that are based upon centralized power (like the Vatican, among others): in the end, they will NOT survive this powerful transit (note that transiting Pluto will also square the IC-MC axis in the current Pope's natal chart).

If you have to make choices now already, try to go and opt for decentralized things (social media, money, food, energy, communication,...).

Pluto in Aquarius will bring us "back" to the future with sustainable and natural high-tech solutions, cars and transportation without wheels (because Aquarius is an air sign; lifting everything up in the air), zero-point energy and what else.

However, beware of what can be distributed through air (drones, planes etc.) also, like poisonous or toxic stuff (for the moment).

So, there still is a catch and every coin has two sides so that it won't be all rose scent and moonshine.

Because Pluto is connected to dark forces, the underworld, emotional trauma and burdens, the entrance of Pluto in Aquarius, the sign of the awakener and light-bringer, raises the odds that mental issues will start to surface more and more.

We expect the entrance of Pluto in Aquarius to bring such events to the foreground so that it will be necessary for the coming years to be very vigilant, stay firm and keep an eye on your mental health while everything turns upside down and gets more and more turbulent and disruptive.

When Saturn changes signs and enters Pisces, there can be a depressed mood, lots of uncertainty about the future and suffering.

Pisces as such reflects sorrow, health issues (especially the immune system), solitude, withdrawal, resignation, lacking boundaries but it's also a very compassionate sign.

Limiting Saturn of borders and boundaries does not fit in boundless Pisces, which makes that rules, regulations, limits will dissipate, dissolve -- resulting in a more disorderly, fluid environment.

This might incorporate bankruptcy, chronic health issues, disobedience, dissatisfaction and a lack of resources.

Saturn in Pisces represent the structures and debris in water which may be indicative of big water-related issues, floods and inundations as well.

Saturn's dispositor (Neptune) too is found in Pisces, reinforcing dissolving traits.

The Nodal switch will activate more personal interests, socializing events or experiences and initiating things to start anew.

With Jupiter entering Aries and later on Taurus, there is hope for new financial rules or systems later on in 2023 and increased material security and provision.

Jupiter in Aries brings a lot of publicity, be it promotions, propaganda, or news.

It's a very enterprising and freedom-loving combination and thus adds to the liberating Pluto in Aquarius traits.

Loving greetings
Luc De Jaeger

Love Forecasts for December 2022

(slowly hover over a paragraph with the mouse and wait a second for additional astrological information)

Click here to download the December 2022 calendar in pdf format.

In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around December 2, 9-10, 17, 23 and/or 29.

During this month of December there are the following specific planetary configurations of stationing outer planets that might affect some specific birthdays in particular:
  • If you are born around January 26, March 12, April 26, June 12, July 29, September 14, October 29 or December 13, this month is about being radical, resisting change, living tense and stressful situations that cause physical and/or mental strain.

Some of you may be hyperactive.

  • If you are born around February 6, March 22-23, May 7-8, June 23, August 10, September 25, November 9 or December 24, this month might bring agony and weird situations.

Some of you may experience cognitive dissonance with events going on without explanation.

You feel that something is dissolving in a peculiar way and this may bring sadness.

  • If you are born around January 12, February 26, April 12, May 28, July 14-15, August 30-31, October 15-16 or November 29, this month might bring relief in whatever situation you are.

There are windfalls and lucky breaks.
Generally speaking, December has no "less lucky" days as such.

In the 45° dial, there are no powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that are exact this month either.

The very early December days suggest a huge instinctive, even primal, drive or urge to get something into motion, to move forward, disturb peace and/or rest.

There is the "need" or urge to reactivate past repressed feelings, emotions and memories (for good or ill) so to create a higher awareness reflected by an astrological pattern of awakening that is going on early December.

Also, the saying "no performance without frustration" may apply now too and there is the need to balance opposite forces, principles and/or interests.

Venus at 18° Sagittarius opposes Mars at 18° Gemini around December 1, suggesting inappropriate behavior, crossing lines and/or boundaries.

Regular readers of our forecasts know already that any tight Venus-Mars aspect results in clashes to show the persons involved where the boundaries are.

In some other instances, this opposition marks a passionate involvement that may also result in a proposal.

Mercury at 22° Sagittarius squares (stationing) Neptune at 22° Pisces around the same day of December 1-2 and is part of the same astrological pattern that is active the whole first week.

Beware of lies, deception, theft, fake news, foggy situations, unreliable information and/or news.

With Mercury in the sign of its detriment, facts are distorted, not revealed or kept hidden.

Still around December 2, there are sunny spells.

The sunny spells continue around December 3.

Around December 3-4, Neptune at 22° Pisces stations and turns direct again, while it also squares Venus at 22° Sagittarius.

Whenever Neptune stations, it adds idealism, but also confusion, deception and unclear situations.

Stationing Neptune turning direct is less realistic too and more open for betrayal and abuse.

If you are Pisces or have Pisces rising, you may feel the stationing influences most and may especially feel more tired also.

Beware of disappointment.

Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of precipitation, fog and/or water-related issues around such stations.

The Venus-Neptune square adds to the possible heavy precipitation here and there, but also coincides with the mourning of a loved one, missing a loved one, the big disappointment related to a loved one and it urges you to let go and move on with a new awareness.

Memories of abuse, death and secrets may be lived again to find a release.

Around December 5, there are clouds in the sky.

Around December 6, Mercury at 29° Sagittarius squares Jupiter at 29° Pisces.

With Mercury being the weakest of the two planets involved because it's still in the sign of its detriment, at an ending degree and square its own dispositor, this waning square reflects irresponsible behavior or thoughts, not having the facts correct, sloppiness, ballooning speeches, chatter and gossip.

There can be issues related to refugees, water-related matters, a move and even an exodus.

Mercury enters Capricorn on the same day of December 6 though, reflecting news from the government or some official letter, notice, communication that might set the records straight.

Around the December 8 Full Moon, the Sun at 16° Sagittarius opposes Mars at 16° Gemini.

This is a very charged lunation and a very public one, revealing lots and bringing lots into the open.

Violence and fires, traffic and/or transportation accidents are to be expected.

This is an angry lunation that might bring some (physical or material) hardship as well.

The day after, around December 9, Venus at 29° Sagittarius squares Jupiter at 29° Pisces and almost immediately thereafter enters Capricorn.

This is a time to socialize and gather and go out.

Beware of (financial) losses, expenses and/or spending too much though.

Some of you may move or change the residence, job or career.

Around December 14, the Sun at 22° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 22° Pisces, suggesting some physical down-time.

You may feel tired, weak and lack zest.

For some of you, this aspect may mark someone leaving your world, a sad or disappointing experience, actually.

This can be a period of being fired, resignation or being rejected.

Around the same day of December 14, there are clouds in the sky.

Following astrometeorology, around December 16-17, there can be lots of precipitation, floods, inundations and stormy weather here and there.

Around December 17, there are sunny spells.

Around December 20, there are clouds in the sky.

Jupiter enters Aries around the same day of December 20, immediately followed by the Sun entering Capricorn the day after on December 21 so that the Sun and Jupiter square each other at 0° in a cardinal sign.

Because of the Sun now entering Capricorn around this period in time, there is a stellium in restrictive, governmental and corporate Capricorn (the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto are all in Capricorn).

Capricorn stelliums coincide with hardship, health issues and a treacherous period for Aquarians or people with Aquarius rising.

If you are an Aquarian, you may feel that others work behind your back, and you may not feel too well too.

Anyway, beware of health issues.

Jupiter at the Vernal Point (0° Aries) is actually bringing good news worldwide, but there is also the chance of volcanic eruptions and/or fire-related issues here and there.

It suggests a new beginning (for the better), a move and/or change for the better.

Something is going viral or public world-wide.

There may be lots of publicity going on but beware of huge manifestations and protests alike.

This is the more so because around the perigee New Moon of December 23 at 1° Capricorn (which squares Jupiter at 0° Aries), Chiron at 11° Aries stations and turns direct again.

Our own research has found evidence that stationing Chiron periods coincide with times of huge protests, manifestations, even uproar here and there but also with extreme weather conditions.

There is dissatisfaction around.

Following astrometeorology, perigee New Moon periods in Winter are often related to (very) cold weather here and there so that it's expected that some colder Winter (and cooler Summer in the southern hemisphere) and more extreme weather enter the picture.

Be aware that for the coming months we always have a perigee New Moon...

Around December 27, there are clouds in the sky.

Around December 28, Saturn and Neptune are at the same numerical degrees of 22° and 23° in a sign till mid January 2023.

This means that both planets are now tightly connected in a semi-sextile and might be related to lots of ("above normal") precipitation (snow, rain), resulting in quite some issues here and there.

Usually, this combo coincides with extreme weather (often ice cold in Winter time -- be it frozen (Saturn) water (Neptune) or melting (Neptune) ice (Saturn)).

Following mundane astrology, this combination is related to suffering, a lack of something and shortages, deprivation, quite some health issues and increased civil unrest because of the ongoing dissatisfaction and feelings of depression.

Authorities and governments are questioned and systems and structures slowly dissolve more and more.

Anytime Saturn and Neptune build a combo, they point to decay and chronically deteriorating situations in many ways and in many fields.

Be prepared and be aware that, when Saturn enters Pisces (ruled by Neptune which still resides in Pisces) in March 2023, things will likely get worse and demand "sacrifice and acceptance."

We will delve deeper into the matter in our 2023 forecasts though.

Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 24° Capricorn around December 29 while it is conjunct Venus.

Stationing Mercury too coincides with protests, strikes, manifestations, marking a restless period.

On a more personal level, stationing Mercury most of all effects Geminis and Virgos or Gemini and Virgo Ascendants who may feel below par.

Things don't go as wished for and there may be some health issues as well.

Communication does not run smoothly and it's best to not take any major decision.

The conjunction with Venus suggests leaving a loved one, reconsidering a relationship, experiencing some kind of separation.

Still around December 29-30, there are sunny spells.

The end of the year is best lived cozy at home.

What's New on Our Web Site?

We added a page about the (love) life of Gisele Bündchen and updated the page about finding the most sensitive degrees in synastry .

Additionally, we added our article about the Sun Neptune connections which we previously wrote about in a Love Letter.

There were different minor updates on other pages.

In our ongoing effort to increase the readability of our website on smartphones, we increased the font size and have tweaked some scripts.

There is still lots of work to make our website more smartphone-proof though but it's a gradual and ongoing process.

Natal Sun-Uranus Connections

In previous Love Letters we delineated numerous planetary connections or affinities already.

Now it's time to delve deeper into the Sun Uranus connections.

In most cases, the following configurations are used (there are more though (!) to define Sun Uranus connections but this would lead us too far and make it more complicated than necessary):
  • Uranus in the 5th house
  • the Sun in the 11th house
  • the ruler of the 5th house in the 11th house
  • the ruler of the 11th house in the 5th house
  • the Sun in a close conjunction, square or opposition with Uranus (a very exact sextile or trine counts too but in a minor way)
  • Uranus at the solstice point of the Sun
  • the Sun in Aquarius
  • Uranus in Leo
When at least three of the above listed analogies or connections can be found in the natal chart, we have a very powerful Sun Uranus connection that will be felt and noticed in the character and life of the native.

What do Sun Uranus connections signify?

The Sun and Uranus are opposing energies so that this combination has its issues.

Uranus is erratic, breaking up, breaking free and difficult to pin down.

Hence, the native always has the urge to quit, to "run away."

This is a high-tension connection that creates lots of stress and nervous tension and restlessness.

They can hardly keep focus and are continuously distracted by lots of external stimuli.

People with powerful Sun Uranus connections easily feel threatened and show rebellious and contrary behavior.

In a female chart, this connection indicates clashes with men and the urge to oppose even for the sake of it.

It won't surprise that Sun Uranus connections mark eccentric and out of the ordinary people.

If no other connection balances this out, they tend to panic easily and need free room and space to live this urge.

They cannot stand closed small rooms or places, may even struggle with claustrophobia.

It's not okay to fence them in literally or figuratively.

They need to be on the move, cannot sit still for long and are bored easily.
