CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #245 -- The Astrology of Men Marrying (Much) Younger Women
April 21, 2025
Dear

This month, among others, Pluto stations and turns retrograde and the Saturn/Neptune midpoint (representing the axis of illness, decay, depression, dissatisfaction etc.) hits the Vernal point (0° Aries), suggesting world-wide discontent, tiredness, health issues (epidemics), further decay etc.

Saturn too will enter Aries this months and thus follows in the footsteps of Neptune that crossed that barrier already in April.

There are a couple of more complex planetary pictures present that are more difficult to interpret too this month though.

This month is going to be vey busy and intense and the (world-wide) hysteria will continue.

Stay strong!

Loving greetings
Luc De Jaeger

Love Forecasts for May 2025

(slowly hover over a paragraph with the mouse and wait a second for additional astrological information)

All dates are calculated for the European Time Zone.

Click here to download the May 2025 calendar in pdf format.

In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around May 1, 8, 15-16, 22 and/or 28.

During this month of May there is no planetary configuration of stationing outer planets that might affect any specific birthdays.

Generally speaking, May 3, 10, 22 and 25 are "less lucky" days.

Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.

In the 45° dial, there are the following powerful midpoint combinations between outer planets going on that will mark this month's Zeitgeist (and thus work out the whole month):
  • The Jupiter/Neptune midpoint equals the Saturn/mean Lunar Nodes midpoint (JU/NE = SA/KN) while Saturn hits the Neptune/mean Lunar Node midpoint as well which will both be exact around May 3.

These midpoint combinations or planetary pictures suggest, among others: the huge disappointment in some connection or relationship or bond, the distrust towards some people or a group of people, the falsehood, the big scandals or fraud unmasked, the market crash, the financial losses, the lack of trust, the separation because of ideological or religious or philosophical reasons or conflicts, the added need for isolation, the inundations or floods causing lots of sorrow for a group and/or isolating a group of people.

  • The Jupiter/Saturn midpoint hits the Uranus/Chiron midpoint which will be exact around May 7.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the big air crash, the explosion that destructs many buildings or structures, the shattering of buildings or constructions, the rocking buildings or constructions.

  • The Saturn/Neptune midpoint hits the Vernal point (0° Aries), which will be exact around May 9.

This midpoint combination will stay at 0° Aries for some time.

According to the research conducted by the German astrologer and researcher Reinhold Ebertin, this midpoint at 0° Aries (the Vernal point) indicates hysteria (for whatever reason).

Because the Vernal point represents 'the world at large', this can be translated as 'world-wide hysteria', 'global hysteria' or 'mass hysteria.'

Additionally, this midpoint suggests, among others: global health issues and a massive amount of sick people, the epidemic(s), global environmental issues, the worldwide decay and/or dissatisfaction and/or depression, the general wariness, the global tiredness, the global poverty, the global dismantling of structures and organizations or governments, the slowly dissolving structures worldwide, the widespread water-related issues, the debris or structures in water on a large scale, the sinking structure(s).

  • The Uranus/Neptune midpoint equals the Pluto/Chiron midpoint, which will be exact around May 15.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the global internet outage, the outage of big or prominent websites, the widespread power outage(s), the huge inundation(s) or flood(s), the food poisoning, the big uncertainty and questions about the future.

  • The Saturn/Neptune midpoint hits the Uranus/Pluto midpoint, which will be exact around May 19.

This planetary picture suggests, among others: the big and profound worldwide environmental changes, the worldwide reforms and revolutions and overturning, the dissolving structures or organizations or governments, the worldwide upsets and tension because of poverty or decay, the worldwide upheaval by the poor and/or labor unions, the worldwide developing tensions and unrest because of poverty or decay or decline, the worldwide technological changes to overcome decay, the big changes coming out into the open globally to transform dissolving structures or organizations or governments, the profound and drastic changes in public life, the powerful and shocking dissolving of structures or buildings, the destructive deluge, the tsunami, the hysteria after a shock experience.

  • The Jupiter/Saturn midpoint hits the Neptune/mean Lunar Nodes midpoint, which will be exact around May 22.

This planetary picture suggests, among others: the damage to buildings or structures, to retire or leave or quit, the dissatisfaction, to seek a shelter.
From May 1 on till June 6, both Venus and Mars are in a fire sign (Venus is in Aries while Mars is in Leo), giving the love life of all fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) a boost.

Venus and Neptune conjoin at 1° Aries around May 2.

Some of you may miss a loved one while others may put someone else on a pedestal.

You can be indecisive and experience mixed feelings.

Beware of unrequited love, love's sorrow and not seeing someone else in a realistic way.

There are unfulfilled longings and you especially live in an imaginary world.

This can be a highly artistic and creative period in time though.

Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of precipitation here and there.

There are sunny spells around May 3.

Around the May 4 First Quarter Moon at 14° Leo, Pluto stations at 3° Aquarius and turns retrograde.

This lunation period has ambivalent and even manic-depressive characteristics.

Some situations may take a big U-turn (for good or ill).

In some instances, the particular degree area of this lunation coincides with an escape, fleeing away from some situation, jumping from high or just falling from high (literally or figuratively).

Indeed, following mundane astrology, this degree area coincides with some objects (planes, construction works, ceilings, cranes, bridges etc.) collapsing, falling from high, but it may also indicate abdications, resignations, or being fired.

Especially the sudden leave-taking, passing away of a male person may be remarkable.

This is the more so because stationing Pluto, representing death and transformation, often coincides with the passing of someone or even of many people at once (collectively).

Stationing Pluto also coincides with dramatic reversals and intense power struggles.

At 3°, stationing Pluto points to mass gatherings, people coming together, connecting and bonding, often because of the need to be heard, to be seen, to attract attention but also to unite and get closer.

So, some mass manifestations are likely to occur around this station as well.

Following astrometeorology, stationing Pluto above average coincides with severe and powerful storms here and there but it also increases the odds of powerful earthquakes.

Following mundane astrology, stationing Pluto in disruptive Aquarius tends to coincide with sudden shocking/tragic events or experiences that have a huge emotional impact so to make sure lessons can be learned from it.

Mercury and Chiron meet at 24° Aries around May 7, often coinciding with internet and/or power outages, websites being down but also with mechanical or electrical issues or electronics breaking down.

Prepare for some defective devices resulting in uncomfortable and disruptive situations.

Around the same day of May 7, there are clouds in the sky.

Around May 8, there are still clouds in the sky.

Mercury enters stubborn and slow Taurus around May 10 and is now concerned with comfort, money and possessions (material/physical products).

There can be bills to be paid but thoughts may also go out to more existential needs and your possessions.

Around the same day of May 10, it's overcast and chilly weather here and there with grey skies.

Around the May 12 apogee Full Moon at 22° Scorpio, Mercury at 3° Taurus squares (stationing) Pluto at 3° Aquarius.

Actually, this Full Moon is the apex point of a YOD-pattern, a triangular astrological configuration, that also involves Jupiter at 23° Gemini and Chiron at 24° Aries.

This apogee Full Moon in Scorpio suggests deep transformational experiences with a big emotional impact, often involving separation and/or break-ups with loved ones in a painful and/or tragic way.

Some of you may be in survival mode.

The Mercury-Pluto aspect reinforces news about the loss of a loved one and the accompanying gatherings.

This current YOD, however, points to relief too, especially medical help but also any kind of intervention and support for the better.

Following astrometeorology, most Mercury-Pluto aspects increase the odds of intense wind speeds causing damage here and there.

There are sunny spells around the same day of May 12.

Jupiter at 24° Gemini squares the mean Lunar Nodes around May 15, indicating issues with foreign affairs, travel and/or foreigners.

Don't expect travel to go smoothly just now.

Mid May is not the appropriate time to go to far-distant places.

Chances are, some of you may not be able to work because this degree area also above average coincides with strikes, and having too much on your plate to properly handle.

Some of you may feel overwhelmed by a situation that now occurs and that results in an overflow.

The Sun and Uranus conjunct at 27° Taurus around May 17-18 while Mercury at 13° Taurus squares Mars at 13° Leo.

There are gatherings, people getting together but there is also some kind of panic noticeable.

Also, there is quite some dissatisfaction around.

There is uproar possible, people being very vocal.

Also, this is an accident-prone day so that traffic and transportation accidents leading to material damage and physical injuries may happen.

If you are born around January 2, February 15, April 1-2, May 17-18, July 4, August 20, October 5 or November 19 there is hardship or a disruption in your relationships (in the widest sense) noticeable.

There can be a break-up or separation from a loved one for whatever reason.

There are sunny spells around the same day of May 18.

The May 20 Last Quarter Moon at 29° Aquarius, an ending degree, is exactly semi-sextile Saturn at 29° Pisces, the last degree of the zodiac.

This also means that the Sun is sextile Saturn before he will enter Gemini on the same day.

This Last Quarter Moon at an ending degree is particularly disruptive and indicates break-ups, divorces, people quitting a relationship (in the widest sense) or just some things coming to a close/end.

A situation is wrapping up but it causes some concern and sorrow and even sadness too.

This degree area tends to coincide with lots of noise and a possible sleepless night.

Following astrometeorology, the Lunation's degree area above average coincides with tons of precipitation here and there.

Around May 22, there are clouds in the sky.

Expect a very busy day with lots of buzz and nervous tension with lots of interventions/activities.

Beware of traffic and/or transportation accidents (in the widest sense).

Mercury and Uranus meet at 27° Taurus while Saturn enters Aries around May 24-25.

There is a sudden change of course and breaking news here and there.

Expect some of your plans to be cancelled and try to be flexible.

The current Mercury-Uranus aspect is a chaotic aspect but on a degree of social gatherings, it's likely people will connect, bond and get together.

Most Mercury-Uranus aspects are noisy, in an unpleasant way.

Following astrometeorology, most Mercury-Uranus aspects indicate increasing wind speeds that often result in fierce wind and even storm here and there.

Saturn entering Aries, the sign of its fall, is told by astrologer Kevin Burk to represent 'the judge with a personal vendetta.'

There are lessons to be learned about taking responsibility for our actions and impulses.

The zodiac sign Aries cannot but express itself instinctively, most often based on pure self-interest and in a pushy way.

But with limiting and blocking Saturn entering this zodiac sign, these urges tend to become more regulated, restricted, resulting in learning to self-limit, keep strong boundaries and also respect the opinions and needs of others.

This may result in more censorship and control over individual actions and urges too, because Saturn also governs governments and big corporations, leaders of state etc.

Following mundane astrology, with Saturn of rules and regulations at the Vernal point (0° Aries), representing the world at large, expect some world-wide regulations, treaties, rulings, orders to be active and/or activated.

Mercury enters its own sign Gemini around May 25-26, suggesting contact with and/or news from or about siblings and/or neighbors.

Mercury entering the most unstable sign of the zodiac points to changing the place often, being on the go, not being 'home' or just not feeling home wherever you are.

The early Gemini degrees are called gypsy degrees, reflecting the wanderers, for a reason.

There is uncertainty and something is still unknown, often because of a move (change of residence), and some of you may just have entered 'new territory', a new environment and need to acclimatize a bit first.

This may also apply if you have just recently changed careers or jobs or a new relationship.

There are sunny spells around the same day of May 26.

Expect a very busy day with lots of things going on all at once.

The May 27 perigee New Moon at 6° Gemini indicates changes of situations, things moving in whatever way and direction but not in a harsh or turbulent way.

The coming week might revolve around finding new ground again (in a relationship for example but also professionally, depending on your personal situation).

Some of you will celebrate a wedding, encounter an interesting person, while others change the residence and yet others might switch careers or jobs.

Some of you may also start courses, follow classes and/or study something new, for whatever reason.

In case you change the environment by moving, you will find a better and more enjoyable environment that you might like better.

Whatever changes are going on in your life around this New Moon, they will ultimately be for the better.

Technically speaking, perigee New Moons are not called SuperMoons but from an astrological point of view ALL perigee AND apogee New and Full Moons are to be considered SuperMoons as these specific Moons have maximum kinetic energy (in case of a perigee Moon, exerting more gravitational pull) or potential energy (in case of an apogee Moon, exerting the opposite energy).

Following astrometeorology, perigee New Moons tend to coincide with dropping temperatures.

The Sun and Mercury conjoin at 9° Gemini around May 30, pointing to news about a separation.

This particular degree area is about letting go and often involving domestic changes.

The current changes are especially related to the motherly and/or caring principles.

So, they may also apply to the domestic area.

There are sunny spells around the same day of May 31.

What's New on Our Web Site?

We added a page about Venus in Capricorn, Aquarius or Pisces in the natal horoscope, an article we published in a previous Love Letter.

We transferred our Diaspora* pod (a fully decentralized social media platform that allows free speech) to another one because the previous one went out of business.

There were minor editions on some pages and on dozens of pages we replaced dead links or deleted them.

The Astrology of Men Marrying (Much) Younger Women

We were able to update our database to 30 natal horoscopes of men who married much younger women.

Though 30 horoscopes is still insufficient to draw any sturdy conclusions on, it's highly interesting we did already find some very powerful astrological configurations that were statistically significant.

Our research is still ongoing.

All birth data are based on Rodden rating A and AA charts and the other criterion was that the men had to be officially married to a woman who was at least 20 years younger.

If you want to know what the chi square means, click here and read the last FAQ.

What did we already find?

By far the most powerful astrological configurations so far are:
  • the Moon is in Libra (chi square 36.0)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 12th house is direct (hardly ever retrograde) (chi square 25.6)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 11th house is direct (hardly ever retrograde) (chi square 22.5)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 8th house is direct (hardly ever retrograde) (chi square 22.5)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 10th house is direct (hardly ever retrograde) (chi square 19.6)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 5th house is retrograde (chi square 10.5)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 9th house is in Capricorn (chi square 9.8)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 7th house is in Leo (chi square 7.4)
  • Neptune is intercepted (chi square 7.4)
  • Venus is in the 8th house (chi 7.2)
  • the Moon is in the 4th house (chi 7.2)
  • Venus is in a water house (4, 8 or 12) (chi square 6.5)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 7th house is in a fire sign (chi square 5.6)
  • Pluto is in the southern hemisphere (houses 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12) (24 charts out of 30!) (chi square 5.4)
  • the (modern) ruler of the 5th house is in the 2nd house (chi square 5.4)
  • Mars is between 27°-29°59' in any sign (chi square 4.4)
  • Saturn is in a water sign (chi square 4.0)
  • Pluto is in the 3rd Quadrant (houses 7, 8 or 9) (chi square 4.0)
  • Saturn is in the 1st Quadrant (houses 1, 2 or 3) (chi square 4.0)
  • Mars is in a fixed house (2, 5, 8 or 11) (chi square 3.6)
  • Pluto is retrograde (in 16 cases out of 30) (chi square 3.6)
  • Jupiter is in the western hemisphere (houses 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9) (chi square 1.1)
  • Neptune is in the southern hemisphere (houses 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12) (chi square 1.1)
We also want to list some other astrological configurations that are not statistically significant (yet) but that are nevertheless standing out:
  • the Moon is in an air sign (Libra, Gemini or Aquarius) (chi square 1.6)
  • Mercury builds an aspect of 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°, 120°, 150°, 180°, 210°, 240°, 270° (orb 1°) with the (modern) ruler of the 1st house
  • the Moon builds an aspect of 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°, 120°, 150°, 180°, 210°, 240°, 270° (orb 1°) with the (modern) ruler of the 8th house
  • the (modern) ruler of the 7th house builds an aspect of 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, 315° (orb 1°) with the (modern) ruler of the 8th house
