Love Forecasts for September 2025(slowly hover over a paragraph with the mouse and wait a second for additional astrological information)All dates are calculated for the European Time Zone. Download here the September 2025 calendar in pdf format. In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around September 1-2, 8, 14-15, 21 and/or 29. During this month of September there are no specific planetary configurations of stationing outer planets that might affect some specific birthdays. Generally speaking, September 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 are "less lucky" days. Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished. In the 45° dial, there are the following powerful midpoint combinations between outer planets going on that will mark this month's Zeitgeist (and thus work out the whole month):
When this trio builds an astrological pattern, it often coincides with, among others: the uncertainty about the future, to feel exhausted, to see no perspective, the unfulfilled longings or wishes, the hopeless feeling, the increased interest in unidentified flying objects, the metaphysical and/or occult interests, the huge nervous tension, the mental challenges, to succumb, to stop fighting, the huge losses, the man-made or natural disaster, to cancel your plan(s), the extreme destruction caused by disagreements or rebelliousness. Following astrometeorology, this trio tends to coincide with huge water-related issues, precipitation, floods etc. If you are born around January 20-21, February 19-20, March 21-22, April 20-21, May 21-22, June 22-23, July 23-24, August 24-25, September 24-25, October 24-25, November 23 or December 22-23, these influences might affect you personally too in some way because they will hit your natal Sun at 1°. The natal Sun represents your physical body, your will-power, creative self-expression. These are once in a lifetime patterns, shaping and transforming your life profoundly. Around September 1, retrograde Saturn re-enters Pisces (and is now at 29°, an ending degree and the most watery degree of the zodiac as well). This degree area is important because it's not only an ending degree, it's the last and final degree of the zodiac as well. Expect lots to 'dissolve' further as long as Saturn is in late Pisces for the rest of the year, until early 2026. Sorry to say but 'the old' is vanishing, and more lawlessness and decay is part of it. There is chaos and confusion all over while boundaries get lost. Borders, regulations and structures will crumble further, resulting in a possible exodus here and there. It's a tearful degree, and because of Saturn's archetypal principles, especially affecting the elderly, higher-ups, and VIP's, politicians, judges etc. Following astrometeorology, Saturn (representing matter and 'the form') in the most watery degree of the zodiac signifies debris in water, structures in water, pointing to the likelihood of massive water-related issues (inundations, floods) and precipitation during its stay in late Pisces. Following mundane astrology, the additional current hostile and violent astrological configurations point to violent and/or secret attack(s), a big fire or wildfire, power outages, suddenly not being able to work or do anything for whatever reason, the possible assassination and/or shooting(s). Around September 2, Mercury enters its own sign Virgo. Mercury strong in its own sign becomes critical and detail-oriented and there might be menial tasks at hand that need lots of diligence and care. This transit increases responsibility as well, either for people or projects. The degree area coincides with medical information and hospital visits. Following astrometeorology, Mercury in early Virgo tends to coincide with dropping temperatures. The day after, around September 3, Mercury at 1° Virgo squares Uranus at 1° Gemini. Because Mercury is the dispositor of Uranus (Mercury rules the zodiac sign that Uranus is in), this is a particular upsetting transit. Expect sudden detours and changes of course. Chances are some of you may need to cancel your plans. Beware of nervous irritability and deception. Following mundane astrology, some governments tend to have problems and risk to fall. Additionally pay attention to intoxication and/or poisonous stuff (from whatever kind). Following astrometeorology, prepare for intense and stormy weather here and there! Mars at 18° Libra, in the sign of its detriment, squares Jupiter at 18° Cancer around September 5. This waxing square in which Jupiter is the stronger of the two, knows no boundaries and can be very pushy, convinced of the own rightness. There can be legal issues, especially regarding real estate and domestic topics. If you are born around January 8, February 6-7, March 8-9, April 7-8, May 8-9, June 8-9, July 10-11, August 10-11, September 10-11, October 11, November 10 or December 10, you can be very supportive and helpful towards others. Moreover, you are able to sell yourself, enjoy the company of someone else or of a group of people, and may love a gathering or party. Indeed, some celebrations cannot be ruled out (either because of childbirth, pregnancy, a proposal or even marriage etc.). It's a good period to pass an exam or be successful at work too. There are sunny spells around the same day of September 5. The day after, around September 6, Uranus stations at 1° Gemini and turns backward. Stationing Uranus above average coincides with nervous tension, restlessness and sleepless nights. It can be a noisy period as well. Some of you can be brought back to reality with some shocking experiences or insights. If you are Aquarius or have Aquarius rising, this station will specially affect you. Things will not fully go as you wished or planned and you may experience some health issues as well. Following mundane astrology traffic or transportation issues may occur. Following astrometeorology, stationing Uranus coincides with stormy weather and/or thunder. The September 7 Full Moon at 15° Pisces is actually a Lunar Eclipse, inconjunct Venus at 14° Leo and widely trine Jupiter at 18° Cancer. This coming week might bring a disoriented feeling and some of you may feel helpless and hopeless. There is nothing you can do but to let it go and let it pass. Beware of issues related to gas, water and/or poisonous or toxic stuff. The Eclipse is on a drowning degree as well, literally and figuratively so that some of you may be overtasked and have too much on your plate to handle properly just now. Some of you may feel lost a bit too. Venus now at a so-called Icarus degree points to a sudden separation or leave-taking of a loved one. Following astrometeorology, the degree of this Lunar Eclipse coincides with heavy precipitation and lots of inundations or floods here and there. Following mundane astrology, the currently exact trine between the mean Lunar North Node at 18° Pisces and the Black Moon Lilith at 18° Scorpio is something to watch out for. Both points are at the same numerical degree (18°) between September 4-14, but today, during this charged September 7 Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse), they are building a very exact trine that might indicate a single but large scale event or disaster resulting in numerous casualties (thus affecting a specific group of people together). Around September 8 and 9, there are clouds in the sky. Expect a very busy day around September 9, with lots of talks, nervousness, interventions and accidents. The Sun at 18° Virgo opposes the Lunar North Node around September 10, indicating a setback, being fired, rejected, not being able to express yourself properly. Some of you may feel below par around these days. Indeed, creative self-expression is at a low now and chances are a male person is not able to attend a meeting or be present somewhere. In some instances, this opposition aspect coincides with the passing, resignation, abdication of a celebrity, higher-up or VIP. Around September 12, Mercury at 18° Virgo opposes the Lunar North Node, suggesting traffic and/or transportation issues. Above average, Mercury-Lunar Node contacts coincide with a very busy, nervous and hectic period full of buzz and noise. There are sunny spells around the same day of September 12. The Sun and Mercury meet at 20° Virgo around September 13, a degree of leaving the domestic area, fleeing and/or being separated from family members. You will be urged, 'obliged' to become more independent, go your own way. Some of you may meet the mother or get some news from or about the mother or a caretaker. The September 14 Last Quarter Moon at 21° Gemini squares its own dispositor Mercury at 21° Virgo. This whole lunation period (which lasts a week) is a restless one, full of 'letting go' but the danger is of still falling into 'old' traps and continuing with the old or clinging to it a lot. There are sudden and totally unexpected events or experiences going on that are intended to change these old patterns. Hence, beware of accidents of whatever kind. There can be love at first sight, a nice encounter around September 15 and 16. It's a time for love talks. If you are interested in crafts, and other artistic or creative projects, now is the time to go for it! If you are born around January 15, February 13-14, March 15-16, April 15, May 15-16, June 16, July 17-18, August 17-18, September 17-18, October 18, November 17 or December 16-17, you will feel these influences most. Mars at 26° Libra opposes Chiron at 26° Aries around the same day of September 16. Following mundane astrology, Mars-Chiron aspects coincide with strikes, protests, manifestations, not being able or not willing to work. There are obstructions, there is indecision what to do. The day after, around September 17, Mercury at 28° Virgo opposes retrograde Saturn at 28° Pisces, blocking documents and/or information. There can be sad news. If you are born around January 16, February 14-15, March 16-17, April 16, May 16-17, June 17, July 18-19, August 18-19, September 18-19, October 19, November 18 or December 17-18 the current astrological configurations suggest hesitation regarding a personal or intimate bond. There is doubt and you may feel inexperienced to proceed. Following astrometeorology, this can be an overcast day. There are sunny spells around the same day of September 17. Mercury enters peaceful and sociable Libra around September 18. It's a noisy period with gatherings and people attending large events. Also, there can be news or information about agreements, proposals, meetings and/or gathering as well. The day after, around September 19, Mercury at 0° Libra opposes Neptune at 0° Aries while Venus enters critical Virgo. There is denial, general or widespread deception, disinformation, fake news and you better don't believe anything now. If you are born around January 5-6, February 18-20, April 4-6, May 21-22, July 7-8, August 23-24, October 8-9 or November 22-23, expect financial issues as well as difficulties to let a loved one go. You may prefer your solitude now too. Following mundane astrology there can be a gas explosion which above average coincides with Mercury-Neptune oppositions (but not always). Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of fog, smoke or even lots of precipitation here and there. Also, severe storm is also likely here and there. Venus at 1° Virgo squares Uranus at 1° Gemini around September 20. All Venus-Uranus aspects favor enjoyable but short-lived attractions and passionate encounters. Some of you may receive a package or nice gift. If you are born around January 20-21, February 19-20, March 21-22, April 20-21, May 21-22, June 22-23, July 23-24, August 24-25, September 24-25, October 24-25, November 23 or December 22-23, the current astrological configurations will affect you most. The September 21 New Moon at 29° Virgo is actually a Solar Eclipse, during which the Sun is also opposite Saturn at 28° Pisces, is semi-sextile Mars at 29° Libra and widely inconjunct Chiron at 26° Aries. This particular Solar Eclipse belongs to the 9 New South Saros Series. Following the keen astrologer and researcher Bernadette Brady, this particular Solar Eclipse series appears to be concerned with the bringing to the surface of long-term worries about loved ones, health or issues to do with paperwork or communication. According to her, this could manifest as a worrying piece of news about a loved one or responsibilities with paperwork coming home to roost. Any news will have a sense of destiny or fatedness about it. However, because of the opposition to blocking Saturn, following our own research, this Solar Eclipse tends to have other meanings too and may show the departure, leave-taking, abdication, resignation, passing of a VIP, celebrity, artist, politician or royalty (above average a male person). This is the more so because 29° Virgo is an ending degree, indicating a big public event as well (suggesting the Solar Eclipse period, that lasts 6 months, may mark the passing of someone at the top of the social pyramid). All Saturn oppositions block creative self-expression and things are hardly going well around the day of its opposition. In other words, dark Saturn is blocking the light of the Sun. It's an aspect of rejection, not being satisfactory and creating an unsurmountable distance. Following astrometeorology, in the past, this Solar Eclipse series, that lasts 6 months, coincided with severe floods and inundations in the United Kingdom. Around the same day of September 21, there are clouds in the sky. Around September 22, Mars enters Scorpio while the Sun enters Libra. Anytime Mars enters intense Scorpio, it coincides with an increase in public cases of abuse (physically, mentally and/or emotionally). Chances are we will hear about revelations regarding such scandals and investigations as long as Mars resides in this sign of the 'underworld.' Around the same day of September 22, there are clouds in the sky. The day after, around September 23, the Sun, still at 0° Libra opposes Neptune at 0° Aries. Mars-Neptune oppositions dislike work, or cannot work, for whatever reason. Don't waste your energy with actions and activities that are in vain, serve no purpose. If you are born around January 20, February 18-19, March 20-21, April 20, May 21, June 21, July 22-23, August 23, September 23, October 23-24, November 22 or December 21-22, the current astrological patterns will affect you most. Following mundane astrology, the Mars-Neptune aspect at 0° in cardinal signs might coincide with a big fire or smoke development. Following astrometeorology, there are lots of dark clouds in the sky and it's overcast. The day after, around September 24, Mars at 1° Scorpio squares Pluto at 1° Aquarius, its own dispositor. This is a particularly violent aspect, full of intense force and power. It's not a peaceful one at all. If you are born around January 20-21, February 19-20, March 21-22, April 20-21, May 21-22, June 22-23, July 23-24, August 24-25, September 24-25, October 24-25, November 23 or December 22-23, the ongoing astrological configurations reflect the inability to relax and suggest, among others: the explosive environment or background (literally or figuratively), to face surgery, the huge turmoil, to experience brutal force, the fanatical drive, to fight till the end. Following mundane astrology, the current planetary pattern, a Kite, indicates a natural or man-made disaster like an earthquake, landslide, volcanic eruption that will leave people hopeless and powerless. Late September can become difficult in that way, reinforced by the Solar Eclipse. However, this Kite pattern, that is accompanied by another geometrical pattern called a Decoration pattern, reflects energies that are endlessly seeking solutions to the ongoing late September problems. Following astrometeorology, beware of severe storm too here and there. Around September 25, the current astrological patterns suggest destruction, and reinforce a big natural or man-made disaster to happen late September. If you are born around January 20-21, February 19-20, March 21-22, April 20- 21, May 21-22, June 22-23, July 23-24, August 24-25, September 24-25, October 24-25, November 23 or December 22-23, you will feel these influences most. Following astrometeorology, beware of intense and severe storms here and there, as well as earthquakes. There are sunny spells around September 26. The September 30 First Quarter Moon at 7° Capricorn suggests leaving home or the domestic area. This degree area coincides with huge disappointments, often because of a person of the opposite sex, and/or a sudden career change. Also, it indicates the breaking of a dam, the pulling down of power abuse and blackmail that kept some people down. This lunation period shows sleepless nights, restlessness that can be kept in balance by slow and gentle movements. We have increased the website's font size a bit and substituted all the images (horoscope wheels, graphs, etc.) on our website again in WebP format instead of the previous jpg and png formats. This is the first part of the plan to increase the speed to load the website's pages faster, especially relevant when using smartphones. At the same time, we made all the images more dynamic and responsive in that they now should automatically and more reliably change width, depending on the devices used. We updated all our internal links too, making it more clear which pages we link to. To increase the accessibility of our website we converted all red texts to burgundy red texts, to increase the contrast for some visually impaired visitors. We updated the footer part of the website with a cleaner and more modern html and css script. We removed the collection of article links on our homepage as well. On our monthly forecasts for 2025 we now added a thin vertical dashed line on the left of some paragraphs to mark those that show a contextual tooltip with more astrological information when hovering over the paragraph with the mouse. Previously, you could not see what paragraphs showed such additional astrological information and you had to hover over all paragraphs to find out. This feature does not work (yet) on smartphones. When our website is overhauled completely and fully dynamic and responsive, we hope to incorporate a clean and reliable script that works for the majority of devices. Natal Moon Mars ConnectionsIn previous Love Letters we delineated numerous planetary connections or affinities already.Now it's time to delve deeper into the Moon Mars connections. In most cases, the following configurations are used (there are more though (!) to define Moon Mars connections but this would lead us too far and make it more complicated than necessary):
What do Moon Mars connections signify? Both, the Moon and Mars rule cardinal signs, that are easily 'triggered', act on primal impulses and flashes that start or ignite something, compel to 'do' something. However, both don't get on well with each other because the sensitive and emotional Moon cannot cope with the direct and sharp characteristics of Mars. Hence, whenever they are connected, they point to some battle, some clash, some unease or discomfort, of whatever kind. In numerous instances, research has shown that a dominant mother figure can be part of this unease. People who have predominant Moon Mars connections had to obey or comply to a domineering mother figure against their own identity and Self. The mother was imposing her life on the native, too present at times, crossing lines or boundaries, resulting in growing discontent. In some instances, this resulted in turning aggression inwards through self-mutilation and/or eating disorders. Often signs or indications of a lack of self-worth or being blocked from being yourself. Especially the self-mutilation part (cutting into your skin or body with a knife, for example) is very telling as Mars rules knives and the Moon rules your comfort zone and emotions. But, at times, the self-mutilation can become obvious by less noticeable indications by making choices against the own good or always opting for removing body organs surgically, for example. People who have predominant Moon Mars connections aim high and want to deliver top performance, always. They want to excel and live 'on the edge', in an often tense way because they want to compete. They easily feel challenged by external situations or the environment. There often is a lack of primal trust noticeable and in the background, subconsciously, inner fear and angst is what drives them to accomplish and/or to initiate something. There is an inner nervousness, insecurity. Moon Mars connections often point to unpleasant domestic childhood experiences full of discord and a lack of respect and support for accomplishments. People with strong Moon Mars connections feel emotionally hurt very easily, often resulting in impulsive angry attacks and moody behavior. In matters of love and romance, these people love to cuddle or caress even though, in practice, prohibitions may add to the discontent and negative energies turning inwards. Women who have predominant Moon Mars connections tend to reject men or feel angry about them while men who have strong Moon Mars connections tend to avoid women or are attracted to strong(er) ones.
