CosmiTec's Love Letter, Issue #037 -- Venus In Containment
December 21, 2007
Hi

We got a lot of feedback about our preliminary findings regarding astrological indications of childlessness. A lot of subscribers sent additional birth information of childless or childfree women. We got about 100 new data to include in our ongoing research. Thank you all so much for your support and interest!

As soon as we are able to publish new results, you'll be the first to get them.

The downside of the story is that we also got some e-mails from women who had one or more of the discussed configurations in their charts. We are truly VERY sorry for the sleepless nights we may have brought and the rosy and beautiful dreams we may have smashed...

However, do know that our research is NOT completed yet and IF you happen to have no children at all, know that life might have other plans with you and that you must learn to gratefully follow what life presents. If life has some other plans with you, try to follow these plans and NOT the plans YOU want to impose on life.

Pluto is going to enter Capricorn in January 2008. Much has been written and is currently being writing about this topic. Will it all be as bad as some writers and astrologers want us to believe? Because of the high demand, we share some of our opinions as a bonus further down in this Love Letter.

Recently, we upgraded our astrological (research) software after our PC-crash some months ago. We will now be able to include more configurations, bodies and factors in our research (the major Asteroids for example) which makes that 2008 may bring yet more accurate research results. Our resolution for 2008 is to bring more of our research results into the open.

And as always, you will be the first to hear about it!

Happy Holidays!
Luc De Jaeger

Love Forecasts for January 2008

January 2008 starts rocky with fiery Mars at 29° Gemini opposing extreme Pluto at 29° Sagittarius around January 2. This violent combination can bring separation, accidents, rape, aggression and extreme anger. Also, there may be change of work.

Around January 4, Mercury of communication at 23° Capricorn is in a frustrating position. Communication is not going smoothly.

Mercury enters Aquarius around January 8, bringing social dynamics. Aquarius is an air sign, concerned with group involvements. Mercury is semi-square Uranus, its dispositor, which denotes disruptive and upsetting events and breaking news.

Jupiter at 5° Capricorn is semi-square Neptune at 20° Aquarius while Venus at 15° Sagittarius squares Uranus at 15° Pisces around January 12. Your too high love expectations will turn out to be a fata morgana. Your imagination is not in sync with reality.

There may be unfulfilled or unrequited love.

Around January 20, Venus at 24° Sagittarius opposes Mars at 24° Gemini and the Sun enters Aquarius. Somebody of the opposite gender urges you to take action. This esxual combination brings some pleasant or unpleasant tension in the relationship (depending on your own chart).

There is confusion all over around January 23 when Mercury conjuncts Neptune at 21° Aquarius. Expect all the "mis"-es to occur (mis-takes, mis-communication, mis-understandings...).

Venus enters formal and business-minded Capricorn around January 24. From now on, dress up for that meeting and iron your clothes once more before going out ;-)

Extreme Pluto enters Capricorn around January 26 for the next 15-16 years. This heavy transit will bring a new "Zeitgeist" in the world. Depending on the aspects from other planets or bodies, this controlling combination often will enforce a very strict and humorless attitude. Censorship and security prevails. Watch your budget!!

Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 23° Aquarius around January 28 reversing fluent communications and smooth transport facilities. Read the print over and over before signing any documents. 23° Aquarius is an important "divorce degree" so that you may (re)consider a divorce around this day.

Chances are you are thinking (Mercury) about a radical change (23° Aquarius) anyway.

Around January 30, Mars stations and turns direct again at 24° Gemini. There is work at hand (actually, for two jobs with Mars in dual Gemini...). Mars in communicative Gemini still brings the potential for disputes. So, mind your words. Also, don't rush through any documents because cutting Mars may "cut speech and documents"...

Venus In Containment

A rare topic in astrology is the study of the planets in consecutive groups of three as they fall in the zodiac, counting in a COUNTERclockwise direction.

Some astrologers have done a brilliant job to analyze and study these planetary containments even if it's unsure when this system was '(re)invented'. Just to name a few: Ivy M. Goldstein-Jacobson (the Moon last over), A. Volguine, J. Lapierre, Raymond Merriman, Sandbach & Ballard and others.

The theory of containments states that everyting in life is a chain or network of energies and that every kind of energy (or event) is followed by another.

Any planet in the middle or center of two others pushes off from one of them to go to the other in a counterclockwise order.

The center planet, Venus for now, marks the starting point.

Below is a very short delineation of the planetary containments of the planet of love and relationships, Venus. How to read it?

Example: Sun-Venus-Moon means that Venus is posited between the Sun and the Moon:

  • Sun-Venus-Moon: all they need is love, often in a self-centered way. Their life cycles are 19 and 25 years
  • Sun-Venus-Mercury: they may be laziness. Many (short-lived) relationships are possible. Unstable love life.
  • Sun-Venus-Mars: loves beautiful things. Follows the own ideas
  • Sun-Venus-Jupiter: static self-love. Needs a lot of appreciation from others
  • Sun-Venus-Saturn: lasting love relationships are possible after a lot of frustrating affairs or events. Solitary
  • Sun-Venus-Uranus: interest in psychology. Solitary. Sudden encounters
  • Sun-Venus-Neptune: feels isolated. Follows the own ideals.
  • Sun-Venus-Pluto: intense; problematic love life
  • Moon-Venus-Mercury: strong influence of the partner
  • Moon-Venus-Mars: wants to impress others. Many moves or travel
  • Moon-Venus-Jupiter: excessive; needs beautiful things
  • Moon-Venus-Saturn: serious, introvert
  • Moon- Venus-Uranus: nervous, sexual problems
  • Moon-Venus-Neptune: the rebel, love's sorrow, follows the own dreams and not the morals
  • Moon-Venus-Pluto: has a very high energy level.
To be continued...

BONUS: Pluto in Capricorn

Currently, in the astrological world, there is much to do about Pluto entering Capricorn around January 26.

Pluto will mark the world in a Capricorn way for the next 15-16 years because the outer planets and bodies build the background, the Zeitgeist, of a generation or longer.

Pluto is a body that is known for its extreme and scarely deep transformative powers. Capricorn is better known for its business-like, formal and strict (limiting) traits.

If you want to delineate an (outer) body or planet in a sign you have to list the respective meanings of the body and sign apart.

Then, try to find a common denominator. When the body and the sign represent or share the same trait, this trait will be emphasized to the full and will prevail. The, look for some opposites because these will mark controversy during the transit period.

Let's try to find out what this means for Pluto in Capricorn:

  • Keywords for Pluto are: extreme, (eruptive) transformation and rebuilding (rebirth), a full unstoppable force (also, enforcing), compulsions, taxes, debts (financial resources), deep investigation, lust, intensity and raw power, "the death of the ego", repressed violence/hate (the pressure-cooker).

As the ruler of a water sign (Scorpio), Pluto acts emotionally.

  • Keywords for Capricorn are: limiting, the border, rules, (re)strict and rigid, the form, negation, climbing up, the mountain, controlling, serious attitude (responsibility), the governement and authority (heads and powers of state), the identity (representation), central hardness (loving structures), goal-oriented and raw ambitions, self-reliant and detached, demanding, censorship (repression), conformism, "master-slave" mentality, security ("lock the doors").

As an earth sign, Capricorn is related to the material and financial world.

Now, let's blend the topics and meanings Pluto and Capricorn share:
  • both are quite controlling and demanding (forceful) one way or the other
  • both want power or want to be in power one way or the other
  • both have some financial meanings
What are the differences and opposites?
  • Pluto is a collective body (representing the masses, not the individual) while Capricorn is still ego-driven
  • Pluto is often uncontrollable lustful and compulsive while Capricorn is still more cautious and "in control"
  • Pluto is eruptive while Capricorn proceeds slowly and is repressive
This brings us to a Zeitgeist of enforced rules, a more strict, rigid or limiting mentality (rather saying no than yes). Emotions are repressed (which slowly builds the basis for a BIG eruption when the pressure gets unbearable). There will be more control in favor of the governement and authorities (individuals lose their "ego" and individuality), making for more censorship. Big Brother really is watching you the coming 15 years, more than ever. There is some hardship and raw power building (you have to obey and submit to the orders).

Chances are the world will not really be a safe place to live: security issues arise again and more prominently ("lock the doors" and your wallets ;-) ).

More finances will go the the governement or authorities, making for some tax increase and more debts and shortages of money (and other earthy things like food!). Pluto in Capricorn will bring many financial issues in many ways and will demand a very strict financial attitude.

Pluto in Capricorn represents the military and police forces (Law Enforcement!) making that they will gain interest or will mark this period more than ever (for good or for bad).

Governemental organizations will transform deeply and will be turned upside down. Some countries and heads of state will be enforced to change their course (by coups d'états...); especially but not exclusively in Europe.

As long as Pluto remains in Capricorn, these meanings will mark the world in whatever way. However, when Pluto builds aspects to the other (outer) planets, its meaning may become more prominent.

Saturn will enter Libra in 2009 and again in 2010 and will build a square to Pluto from then on. If you know that Saturn is Pluto's dispositor, Pluto will manifest in a most challenging way (when a planet is disharmoniously affected by its own dispositor, it brings the worst out of it).

Also knowing that Pluto will enter revolutionary and freedom-loving Aquarius in April 2023 you will better understand what Pluto in Capricorn will bring the next 15 years. That is: way too much restrictons, enforced behavior (repressions) making for an eruption (Pluto) and revolution of (regained?) freedom, starting around 2023.

It's our opinion and conviction that you can't have a "revolution" (or eruption) when you were not previously submitted to rules you don't can stand any longer and that's why Pluto in Capricorn will mark a very somber and "heavy" period in the world in which freedom will be restricted and where freedom etc. will have to be rewon after 2023... (however, the first indications of this might already start sooner; in 2021-2022).

Pluto in Capricorn also will bring "revolutions" (military and others) but here, the repressive authorities might be in control whereas Pluto in Aquarius might bring more power to the individuals.
