Generational Pluto has been on this degree for a while already but a station just points at that: a stationing period, not moving forward; thinking things over...

Additionally, the month of May is a Moon wobble month and if you are a regular reader of the monthly forecasts, you may know what this means in the meantime.

You better don't expect a lot of progress this month in whatever way...

In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around May 5, 12, 18-19 and/or 25.

During this month of May there is the following planetary configuration of stationing outer planets that might affect some specific birthdays:

If you are born around February 5, March 22, May 7, June 23, August 9, September 24, November 9 or December 23, this month is about a turning point for a group of people, the family or co-workers.

You relationship too may encounter a transition phase.

Meetings or gatherings may turn upside down or don't go smoothly.

There can be some complications or disruptions because of others, a group of people or connections.

It's also possible you don't want to follow a group or a group does not want to follow you.

Generally speaking, May 3, 10, 22 and 25 are "less lucky" days.

Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.

In the 45° dial, there are the following powerful midpoint combinations between outer planets going on that will mark this month's Zeitgeist (and thus work out the whole month):

Uranus hits the Neptune/Chiron midpoint (UR = NE/CH) which will be exact around May 9.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the natural or man-made disaster (like earthquakes or volcanic eruptions), the raging fire(s) (this is an outcome that above average coincided with this midpoint in the past), the environmental crisis or disaster.
Pluto hits the Saturn/Uranus midpoint (PL = SA/UR) which will be exact around May 10.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the brutal and violent force, the rebellion, the tremendous fear of loss, the huge upheaval, to terminate extreme practices which have been hindering progress, rigid inflexibility replacing a liberal atmosphere, the forced censorship.
the Saturn/Chiron midpoint hits the Neptune/Pluto midpoint (SA/CH = NE/PL) while the Jupiter/Saturn midpoint hits the Neptune/Chiron midpoint (JU/SA = NE/CH), all exact around May 16.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the material damage because of water-related issues, the maritime issues, the severe damage to buildings, the raging fire damaging a huge building or buildings.
Uranus hits the Jupiter/Saturn midpoint (UR = JU/SA) which will be exact around May 18.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the damage to buildings, the sudden abdication, dismissal or resignation, the fall of a government or minister or politician, the sudden change in career or job, to change the residence, the defective car(s), to leave the home or domestic area, the forceful change of direction, to be terribly upset and dissatisfied with the status of things, to need more freedom to enjoy personal activities, the sudden and abrupt changes in lifestyle.
the Jupiter/Saturn midpoint hits the Uranus/mean Lunar Node midpoint (JU/SA = UR/KN) which will be exact around May 31.

This midpoint combination suggests, among others: the air crash, the explosion damaging houses or buildings.

Around the May 1 Full Moon at 11° Scorpio, Mercury and Chiron meet at 27° Aries.

When Mercury of communication and transportation and maverick Chiron join together, expect transportation hiccups, traffic jams, road blocks and other traffic or transportation disruptions (in the widest sense).

Additionally, expect issues with electronic or electrical devices as well as website and/or internet outages or downtime.

Following mundane astrology, the degree of 27° Aries points to isolation, confinement in whatever way or for whatever reason.

There can be news about bankruptcy, severe financial losses, market crashes or monetary issues, issues with or about gas or oil and the goal is to do damage control as much as possible.

Beware of misjudgments due to emotional attachments and behavior that do not allow to think reasonably and clearly now.

It's not recommended to bond, marry, propose, sign agreements just now as later on, you will understand your current reasoning will prove to be flawed.

The same is true for legal matters: don't expect to win a case, despite a sound legal ground.

This Full Moon phase presents fixed convictions that don't want to be contradicted.

Around May 2, there are sunny spells.

Around May 3-4, the current astrological configurations indicate, among others: mass obstruction, censorship, to cancel plans, gas leaks, unfulfilled wishes and longings, the uncertainty during travel.

Following mundane astrology, the current astrological patterns indicate heavy (fatal) traffic and/or transportation accidents resulting in numerous casualties.

Additionally, expect worldwide website or internet outages as well as power outages here and there.

If you are born around January 21-22, March 7, April 21-22, June 7, July 24, September 9, October 25 or December 8, some of these influences will affect you personally too.

Around May 5-6, Mercury at 5° Taurus squares (stationing) Pluto at 5° Aquarius.

Mercury-Pluto aspects indicate annoyance, news about shared resources (like insurances, taxes, loans, inheritances etc.) but may as well coincide with news about the death of someone.

The degree area of 5° in fixed signs indicates a stalemate situation, a situation of being blocked or stuck somewhere.

If you travel or are on the go, be aware of possible obstructions and being stuck somewhere.

You don't feel at home and may feel disconnected in whatever way, which happens when you travel too (among others).

It's not a good moment to find quick solutions to get you 'free' because it's unlikely permanent solutions will pop up.

If you are born around January 25, March 10, April 25, June 11, July 28, September 12-13, October 28-29 or December 12, some of these mundane influences will affect you personally too in some way.

Pluto stations and turns retrograde at 5° Aquarius around May 6, reinforcing, emphasizing, the stalemate, blocked, stuck position.

Whenever intense and forceful Pluto stations, it suggests exaggerating power conflicts and struggles (in many ways and fields).

Fixed ideas and convictions are emphasized and may escalate.

If you are Scorpio or have Scorpio rising, you will feel the influence of the station the most.

Some of you may not feel well, things may not go as wished for and you may face some forced changes.

Following astrometeorology, stationing Pluto intensifies stormy weather here and there.

Following mundane astrology, stationing Pluto coincides with resignations, the death of a celebrity or VIP.

Around May 7-8, the current astrological configurations indicate the crossing over of a female person, unrequited love.

If you are born around January 21-22, March 7, April 21-22, June 7, July 25, September 9, October 25 or December 8-9 some of these mundane influences will affect you personally too on a minor level.

Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of precipitation here and there.

Around May 8, there are sunny spells.

Around the May 9 Last Quarter Moon at 19° Aquarius, there are duties and obligations.

You might need to comply to be or remain part of 'the club' (even though the obligation is an illusion, part of a mental construct and not really necessary as such).

Some of you will be 'obliged' to change the residence, move, travel or take a trip.

Following astrometeorology and mundane astrology, there can be raging fires and/or environmental disasters and/or extreme weather here and there.

Following mundane astrology, this lunation period tends to coincide with developing skin diseases.

There are clouds in the sky around May 12 and 13.

The Sun and Mercury meet at 23° Taurus around May 14, suggesting difficult or sad news.

At this degree area, this conjunction coincides with fatal traffic accidents but also air crashes.

There often comes an unexpected end to a relationship or you may suddenly feel disconnected while new encounters happen during the same period in time.

Around the May 16 perigee New Moon at 25° Taurus that is exactly conjunct Mercury (at 25° Taurus) and semi-sextile Venus at 26°-27° Gemini and semi-sextile Mars at 27° Aries, some of you may be very busy expressing your love dreams while others may love to act or write love poems or letters/messages.

This perigee New Moon might indicate a split, a double, situation that causes a serious dilemma you cannot resolve.

You feel stuck, indecisive and know that something is going to change.

You just don't know in what direction currently and will have to wait.

Around the same day of May 16, there are sunny spells.

Mercury enters its own sign Gemini around May 17, often coinciding with news or messages about or from siblings or neighbors.

There are lots of trips or changes of the place because 0° Gemini is the most unstable degree of the zodiac, also called the gypsy degree.

Following astrometeorology, Mercury in its own sign, might bring more wind.

Around May 18, Mercury and Uranus conjoin at 1° Gemini, coinciding with changing plans.

Prepare for sudden detours, unexpected changes of course, opinions or information.

There is quite some nervous tension noticeable during this time of breaking news.

For some of you, an emergency situation may result in a hospital visit or medical check-up.

If you are born around January 6, February 19-20, April 6, May 22, July 8, August 24, October 9 or November 23, the current astrological configuration may affect you.

Following mundane astrology, the current astrological configuration might indicate damage to houses and buildings.

Following astrometeorology, all Mercury-Uranus conjunctions, especially in the mutable air sign Gemini, increase the odds of heavy storm here and there.

At 1° Gemini, this conjunction indicates dropping temperatures also (and in Winter time ice cold temperatures and possible blizzards).

While Venus enters domestic Cancer and Mercury at 4° Gemini squares the mean Lunar Nodes, Mars enters fixed and inert Taurus around May 18-19, waging an existential fight to save money, property and possessions.

Venus in caring and domestic Cancer loves nesting and will enjoy making home a cozy place.

It's time for home improvements, beautifications and real estate transactions.

All Mercury-Lunar Node aspects indicate a very hectic and buzy period in time with lots of talks, messages, nervous energy and buzz.

It will be interesting to watch how Venus and Mars each entering a zodiac sign will work out together because they are also in a tight sextile since the May 16 perigee New Moon.

This can be a very nice aspect, indicating pregnancy and finding a (new) home during this lunation period (that always lasts till the next lunation).

It's fair weather here and there around May 19.

Additionally, it's a good day to receive parcels or packages or do some purchases.

A couple of days later, around May 21, the Sun enters Gemini, adding to the changes of the place, the trips and contact with siblings or neighbors.

Around the same day of May 21, there are sunny spells.

Around May 22, the Sun and Uranus meet at 1° Gemini while Venus at 3° Cancer squares Neptune at 3° Aries.

There can be an unexpected encounter or meeting, resulting in a change of the place.

All waxing Venus-Neptune squares are indicative of a certain fascination, some kind of charming magnetism and attractive glamour.

Love imagination and love ideals may be experienced but also a passion for artistic goals, projects or ventures.

It's a great period in time for photography, music, theatre and all other artistic and creative kinds of self-expression.

Some of you may find a love ideal, but be aware it might be unrequited love, an unfulfilled longing or desire and you better compensate the disappointment with and artistic project instead.

Erotic desires are kept hidden, often coinciding with a secret 'love' going on.

If you are born around February 7, March 24, May 9, June 24-25, August 10-11, September 26, November 10-11 or December 25, the current influences will affect you personally too.

Following astrometeorology, there can be lots of precipitation here and there (with torrential rain here and there).

Following mundane astrology, a female celebrity, VIP or celebrity may resign, cross over, be dismissed or step down.

Around the May 23 First Quarter Moon at 2° Virgo (widely square Uranus at 1° Gemini and trine Mars at 3° Taurus), there can be a relationship crisis because of an imbalance between the giving and taking of the partners.

There is no return on investment for at least one of the partners.

Also, because of the imbalanced lunation period, heart issues, burnouts, mental breakdowns may now happen more frequently.

This lunation period can bring forth a crisis period, especially for those individuals and organizations that have crossed their own boundaries, physically, mentally, emotionally.

If accomplishments are the only tool or means to value people, it will prove to be wrong.

The lesson to learn during this lunation period is about not feeling responsible for others, not following the standards or norms of others, not submitting to the desires of others but to know and be yourself and value yourself independent of your environment.

Following astrometeorology, this First Quarter Moon tends to indicate a dry day.

There are clouds in the sky around May 24-25.

The Sun at 4° Gemini squares the mean Lunar Nodes around May 25.

Attentive readers of our monthly forecasts might already know that anytime the Sun and the (mean) Lunar Nodes are in a conjunction, square or opposition, we are all in a so-called 'Moon wobble' period.

This whole month of May thus tends to be unstable, with freak and extreme weather patterns, accidents, fires/explosions, severe natural disasters and weird weather patterns, upheaval, and other catastrophes where there is significant loss of life.

Also, this aspect points to a draining time during which celebrities or higher-ups may struggle.

The day after, around May 26, Mars at 5° Taurus squares Pluto at 5° Aquarius.

All Mars-Pluto aspects are violent and brutal.

It's a period of power struggles and abuse.

Around May 27- 28, the current astrological configurations suggest, among others: a message or news about a departure or leave-taking, news about travel, air crashes, traffic or transportation accidents and incidents, knife attacks or shootings on public transportation, the fall of a government or the leave-taking of a politician.

If you are born around January 26, March 12, April 26-27, June 12, July 29, September 14, October 30 or December 13, some of these mundane influences will affect you personally too on a minor level.

Venus at 11° Cancer squares Saturn at 11° Aries around May 29.

This waxing square is a calculated one, keeping up appearances but complaining about money and relationships.

There are monetary restrictions.

Some of you may change the residence.

Around the same day of May 29, there are sunny spells.

Around May 30, the current astrological configurations suggest, among others: being sober, working hard to meet the ends or to accomplish something, trying to cope despite illness or other restrictions, to sacrifice oneself for a cause of for someone else, to try to finish a hard job, the trouble with authority, trying to save what's left, to face austerity.

If you are born around January 13-14, February 27, April 13, May 30, July 16, September 1, October 17 or November 30 - December 1, some of these influences will affect you personally too.

Following astrometeorology, there are sunny spells.

Around the May 31 Full Moon at 9° Sagittarius (inconjunct Mars at 9° Taurus), there can be a separation in the family, the leaving of the domestic area (for whatever reason), pregnancy but also a miscarriage for women who are already pregnant, passion and the urge to create.

What's New on Our Web Site?

We continued changing the script of almost 50 html-pages (related to the yearly forecasts) to make sure they fit and read nicely on smaller screens.

There are still almost 150 html-pages to go that need the same script so that it will take some time still to finish this part of the transition to make our website more smartphone-proof.

We updated the page about our research results regarding childbirth in female solar returns.

We are in the process of deleting almost all banner ads on our website to make the pages clean and clutter-free on smartphones as well.

This too will be a very time-consuming and laborious work and we are currently looking at a way to do it in bulk or batches -- if possible at all of course but that's what we are investigating now.

In this article we continue delving deeper in the house position of the 7th house ruler and discuss some empirical research results regarding the 3rd Quadrant (houses 7, 8 and 9).

Ruler of the 7th house in the 7th house

Above average, this rulership coincides with encountering people who react very instinctively, often in a primal way without forethought.

Relationships are based on instincts and thus love at first sight is often the result.

The native is able to encounter the other, the partner without emotional entanglements, in a more neutral and detached way.
