Retrograde Mars in
Female Natal Charts

Is He Astrologically Afflicted?

On this web site we already delineated the position of Mars in the natal chart of women.

Mars is told to be important in a female chart because it is told to point to the men in her life.

We at Cosmic Technologies, have a more diverse opinion though and have written about it in the aforementioned article on our web site.

This time, we want to take a look at the position of retrograde Mars in female natal charts.

In our research, we made a difference between day and night births.

  • In a day birth chart, the Sun is above the horizon (or Ascendant-Descendant axis), thus posited in the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th house.

  • In a night birth chart, the Sun is below the horizon (or Ascendant-Descendant axis), thus posited in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th house.

All the results were obtained and analyzed with the help of the AstroDatabank.

Retrograde Mars and Day Births (the Sun in the houses 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12)

Most often, retrograde Mars is found in female charts of dancers, performers (especially if the Sun is in the 9th house) and/or teachers.

Different marriages are possible (this is especially so if the Sun is in the 12th house also).

On average, women with the Sun above the horizon and Mars retrograde have many siblings and most often sisters (this is especially so if the Sun is in the 10th house).

Interestingly, women born during the day with retrograde Mars in the natal chart  are born under unusual birth circumstances.

They have a noted mate, lover, husband (this is the more so if the Sun is in the 8th house).

In case the Sun is in the 1st house, retrograde Mars in a female day birth chart above average suggests traumatic events or experiences related to the (a) parent(s).

Also, the woman is often very vocal and has metaphysical or spiritual interests.

If the Sun is found in the 9th house, health issues often are related to the head area and/or the heart.

The Sun in the 10th house too indicates metaphysical or spiritual interests.

The Sun in the 11th house is often an indication of a female with blonde hair, a gorgeous appearance and one who has a sociable nature.

On average, these women with the Sun in the 11th house are married once.

The Sun in the 12th house is found to imply having many children.

Retrograde Mars and Night Births (the Sun in the houses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6)

Retrograde Mars in a female night birth chart points to a hard worker.

The woman is having many siblings, so, might be born in a large family.

If the Sun is in the 3rd house, she has often different sisters.

On average, women with retrograde Mars who are born at night are either never married, or have at least one long-lasting marriage (this is especially so if the Sun is in the 1st house).

If the Sun is in the 2nd house, a lasting marriage might be stressful and not always a happy one though.

Women born at night with retrograde Mars in the natal chart are above average robust and independent.

They also keep the same job for long and travel for work or experience many moves.

Car accidents tend to happen frequently.

With the Sun in the 4th house, they frequently experience domestic stress and issues and they tend to be more depressive.

If the Sun is in the 5th house, they are independent and active, had many lovers and often have a very supportive family (and an advantaged childhood).

If they have the Sun in the 6th house, they are quite eccentric and have at least one kid.
