The rule goes as follows: the nature of the sign (male or female) the Moon is in at the moment of conception during the Moon phase return determines the sex of your future child:

• If you want a boy, you should have intercourse on the moment the Moon is in a male sign (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius or Aquarius during your personal Moon phase return.
  
  
• If you want a girl, you should have intercourse on the moment the Moon is in a female sign (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces) during your personal Moon phase return.

So, if you now combine the Moon phase and gender prediction techniques and the lunar cycle fertility techniques, as discussed on our lunar cycle fertility page, you have not only enhanced your chance of getting pregnant, but you have also determined the sex of your future child with an accuracy rate of about 70%.

And now, from the above mentioned remark, you will hopefully understand why nobody can claim an accuracy rate of 100% by using the Moon phase and gender prediction techniques too!

The same holds true for any 'scientific' research that tries to disapprove a relationship between the lunar phases and births. In our opinion you can't approve or disapprove anything if you do not have the exact moment of insemination.

Actually, the Moon phase and gender prediction method by Martine Lafleur is almost the same (NOT exactly!), but Martine Lafleur gives more dates to try to conceive (4 days per month for every gender) (which is an absolute advantage over our Overview that only lists 12 - 13 days a year or 1 day per month for either a boy or a girl).

Her method is quite reliable -- we were able to get some (reliable and most convincing) testimonials! Her methods are not infallible though, but her system is the only one we have raving testimonials of.
