The rule goes as follows: the nature of the sign (male or female) the Moon is in at the moment of conception during the Moon phase return determines the sex of your future child:

• If you want a boy, you should have intercourse on the moment the Moon is in a male sign (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius or Aquarius during your personal Moon phase return.
  
• If you want a girl, you should have intercourse on the moment the Moon is in a female sign (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces) during your personal Moon phase return.

So, if you now combine the Moon phase and gender prediction techniques and the lunar cycle fertility techniques, as discussed on our lunar cycle fertility page, you have not only enhanced your chance of getting pregnant, but you have also determined the sex of your future child with an accuracy rate of about 70%.

HOWEVER, you should keep something in mind now. You may know (or not) that the average semen lives for about 60 to - exceptionally - 72 hours. Nobody can predict exactly how long it takes the semen to travel up the birth canal to inseminate the egg so that, for example, when you have intercourse when the Moon phase return is in the last degrees of the male sign Aries (because you want a boy), the possibility is high that the insemination occurs when the Moon is already in the next (female) sign Taurus, making it likely that you will bear a girl instead of a boy! So it is best to schedule intercourse some time (12-24 hours) before the fertility peak (= the exact return of the Sun/Moon phase angle)!
