Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
Mercury enters Aquarius around January 1 suggesting the ability to see the broader picture and concepts.
Mercury is the messenger and in this humanitarian sign, group discussions are favored.
Expect news about innovations during Mercury's transit in the sign of technology, discoveries and novelties.
Around January 3 impulsive and pushy Mars enters intense Scorpio.
No doubt, this can be a forceful combo as Mars is able to act with more precision and focus.
This transit usually brings a heavy workload.
There is so much to accomplish but Mars has stamina and courage and it will succeed.
Beware of manipulation, reckless battles and sarcasm.
The first indications of Mars' negative or even hostile and forceful influences might happen around January 4-5 when stationing Mercury at 1° Aquarius squares Mars at 1° Scorpio.
Stationing Mercury is now about to move backwards and is in a verbally combative and argumentative mood.
Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) may not feel too well around the station.
Also, things may not turn out as expected and it's best to keep a low profile just now.
Important decisions are best delayed till Mercury turns direct again later this month.
In mundane astrology, Mercury's stations often mark an increased risk of strikes here and there.
The current Mercury-Mars square finds place in fixed signs, indicating fixed convictions and not wanting to give in.
When stationing Mercury squares Mars also beware of transportation and/or traffic accidents.
Casualties are to be feared, the more so because around the same day of January 5 Venus at 7° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 7° Pisces and the Sun and forceful Pluto conjoin at 15° Capricorn, a so-called 'critical' degree of 'depression and separation.'
Clearly, watch out for an eventful period between the January 4-7 days.
The waning Venus-Neptune square indicates tragedy and sacrifice (often out of desperation).
This waning square points to being swayed (and seduced) easily resulting in severe disappointments and (self-)destruction.
This is even reinforced by the Sun-Pluto conjunction, indicating oppression and emotional turmoil.
Around January 7 the Sun at 16° Capricorn squares Uranus at 16° Aries suggesting the need to be independent and free.
This is the aspect of the rebel, the one who wants to escape from the chains that prevent moving forward.
Around the same day of January 7, Jupiter stations at 23° Virgo and is going retrograde.
In the sign of its fall, Jupiter may lack some faith and needs more tangible proofs.
In Virgo, stationing Jupiter has so much to do and so many tiny details to process and/or correct.
Don't forget to keep an eye on the legal side of everything because Jupiter in the sign of its fall tends to neglect the law.
Retrograde Mercury re-enters corporate Capricorn around January 8 and regains some interest in economy and finances.
Expect some communication, letters, news from the government, corporations, the banking world etc.
The atmosphere becomes cooler and there are clouds in the sky around January 8 when Venus and Saturn conjoin at 12° Sagittarius.
You may feel lonely, separated and or face money shortages or financial blockages/limitations.
Around January 14 the Sun and Mercury meet at 23° Capricorn.
There may be changes of the place, short trips and some things are starting to change in a gentle way.
You may face some duties and obligations though.
Venus at 23° Sagittarius squares its dispositor Jupiter at 23° Virgo around January 17 resulting in financial losses and expenses.
There can be purchases but don't exaggerate because Jupiter in the sign of its fall tends to go 'overboard.'
Try to be responsible.
Around January 19 Venus at 24° Sagittarius squares the Nodes and brings a good mood, pleasantness with others and/or successful teamwork.
The Sun enters Aquarius around January 20 while Mercury at 16° Capricorn squares Uranus at 16° Aries.
There is breaking news, exciting talks or communication, nervous tension and some chaotic moments noticeable.
Around January 21-22 Mercury conjoins Pluto at 15° Capricorn presenting some news with an emotional impact.
Some research or investigations are necessary.
Venus enters corporate Capricorn around January 23.
In this earth sign, Venus values status and maturity, but also, and more importantly, money and material goods.
Perhaps you may find love at the working floor and don't forget to consider people in a uniform as well.
Relationships can be tense and stressful around the January 24 Full Moon though.
Rejoice Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) because around January 25 your sign ruler Mercury stations at 14° Capricorn and turns direct again.
Slowly, you will be able to be more open about decisions you want to take.
Some corporations, banks or the governments might have some news for you.
On a mundane level, there can be strikes around the day of the station.
Around January 26-27 there are happy feelings of love and for some the astrological configurations indicate love at first sight and irresistible attraction.
However, for some others, these days of January 25-27 suggest impatience, misunderstandings, sadness, a mourning mood, disappointment and chaotic events and enforced actions.
Mercury and Pluto meet again at 16° Capricorn around January 29 and may present new options and a turn-over, a new direction or start.
For the 2nd time this month, Mercury at 17° Capricorn will square Uranus at 17° Aries around January 31 resulting in another round of buzz, breaking news and a talkative mood.
These late January 2016 days can be actually very windy, even stormy and noisy.
Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
In general and on a mundane level, the whole month of February is marked by Saturn being at the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint (45° dial/list, orb 1°).
This suggests a less optimistic month in general, more hesitation in taking decisions, plans that cannot be carried out (fully) (yet), (self-)deceptions, some seemingly helpless situations, lots of precipitation, floods, water-related issues (and damage) here and there and yet more financial issues as well (financial losses or expenses, crashes, slowing down and/or downfall of the financial markets etc.).
Also, in medical astrology, this configuration denotes issues with lungs, blood and/or liver so that we may see an increase of illnesses related to these organs as well as more tiredness and even exhaustion.
More rest and (deep) sleep IS mandatory during this lingering transit.
Mercury at 17° Capricorn squares Uranus at 17° Aries around January 31 - February 1 suggesting misunderstandings and/or being misunderstood.
Unexpected messages, (breaking) news or changing orders disrupt your goals or plans.
Venus and Pluto conjoin at 16° Capricorn while Venus also squares Uranus at 17° Aries thereafter around February 6.
This configuration indicates irresistible attraction, being in a creative mood and intense love desires.
However, in mundane astrology, Venus and Pluto together have never been at ease (and peace) with each other and often mark forceful and violent experiences.
Indeed, Pluto's intensity is too much to handle for harmony-loving Venus and with the help of unsettling Uranus, upsetting events are likely to happen.
Hence, this Venus-Uranus-Pluto pattern is often involved in break-ups and separations and rather short-lived (fatal) attractions.
Around February 7 the Sun at 18° Aquarius squares Mars at 18° Scorpio and suggests the deployment of force (the armed forces?) in an exaggerated way.
This is an adventurous combo, a very risk-taking and daring one, often for the sake of just proving one's own self-worth.
Around February 28, the Sun and dissolving Neptune conjoin at 9° Pisces, a dissolving degree of letting go, implying a rather mourning and/or sad mood to end the month with.
Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
In general and on a mundane level, the whole month of March is marked by (stationing) Saturn being at the Neptune/mean North Node of the Moon midpoint (45° dial/list, orb 1°).
This suggests disappointments, feeling misunderstood and some issues establishing contacts with others.
Also, beware of betrayal.
Health issues are part of the background influences this month.
There is more sadness and agony going on and people may more openly feel hurt emotionally, especially in the 2nd half of the month.
Around March 5 Mercury at 29° Aquarius squares Mars at 29° Scorpio while Mercury enters Pisces, the sign of its detriment soon after.
The waxing Mercury-Mars square at 'critical' degrees (which all 29° are) in fixed signs, suggests too assertive behavior, insults, sarcasm, bold statements and a sharp tongue.
You can be restless and tend to vent your frustrations and dissatisfaction more openly and impulsively and not in a diplomatic way.
Planets at 29° are often told to be 'at the end of the rope' indicating desperation, (often unfulfilled) longings that overcompensate in restlessness, agitation, tension and nervousness and that, sometimes, get out of hand.
Beware of transportation and/or traffic accidents around these days.
Because Mercury also enters vague and nebulous Pisces on the same day, confusion reigns.
Expect more mistakes made, misjudgments, facts being misrepresented and errors made everywhere.
Stay grounded and don't panic because these astrological configurations can be quite temperamental!
Mars enters fiery Sagittarius around March 6 while the Sun at 16° Pisces squares Saturn at 16° Sagittarius on the same day.
Impulsive and commanding Mars in the fiery and flamboyant sign Sagittarius becomes agitated and may heat up the atmosphere.
You may also take this literally because Mars in Sagittarius tends to increase the temperature, resulting in mild(er) or warmer weather here and there.
However, in the sign of worldview, religion and foreign affairs, Mars tends to actively defend its ideas with zeal.
It's action time and Mars becomes the crusader for whatever cause.
Bold, blunt and bullying behavior can be part of it because both Mars and Sagittarius lack some finesse and refinement.
Impatience becomes noticeable everywhere.
Because of the coinciding waxing Sun-Saturn square, there is a fight going on against higher-ups, celebrities, authorities, governments, corporations and the like.
Actually, these planetary configurations indicate actions against the 'order of things' and conservative or strict laws and legislation.
Around March 8-9 the Solar Eclipse at 18° Pisces opposes Jupiter at 18° Virgo.
This is also the first SuperMoon of 2016 and may therefore be related to some 'extreme weather.'
According to the fabulous and meticulous astrologer and researcher Bernadette Brady, this Solar Eclipse belongs to the 18 South Saros Cycle which is concerned with endings or separations for the coming six months.
This parting can be anything from someone traveling, saying farewell to a co-worker or friend to divorce or death.
However, according to her, the pain of the separation is lessened by encountering new situations which lead to very positive outcomes (please, don't forget that!).
Actually, the whole year 2016 is about endings, separations and this Solar Eclipse (as well as the next one in September 2016) reinforces these tendencies.
When analyzing this important March 8-9 Solar Eclipse you will notice there are two very powerful and predominant astrological configurations active:
There is a T-square built by Saturn (the apex planet) which squares the Solar Eclipse on the one hand and Jupiter on the other side.
The Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Uranus are all at the same numerical degree in a sign (18°).
The mutable T-square in which Saturn in Sagittarius is the apex body suggests that you will need more discernment and be more selective in what you believe.
Edward Snowden wanted humankind to understand that this world is ALL about 'The Art of Deception.'
Nothing is what it seems.
What you read, hear or see in mainstream media is psychological warfare, meant to make people dependent, install confusion so to bring more fear and make people more dependent, addicted (among others) and enslave them.
During the coming six months, you may experience more frustration and, above all, more insecurity.
What this Solar Eclipse wants to learn is to be more optimistic though and rid yourself of pessimistic mindsets and attitudes.
After all, nothing is what it seems and the dark (side of) events is (are) often fabricated for other purposes than our well-being...
Hence, this Solar Eclipse will show humanity during the next six months that authoritative positions, power plays, control tactics or overbearing domination over others are not the way to go.
Instead, constructive self-control, responsibility in intimate and social relationships, unselfish efforts at helping to solidify collective goals can be used to build true justice, leadership and trust within our society.
This T-square is not an easy one for sure because it is related to dissatisfaction, dis-ease, hesitation and illness.
We therefore expect more people to be(come) ill or unemployed (which is confirmed by the upcoming Saturn-Neptune square) in the days, weeks and months to come.
On the other hand, the second astrological configuration that is active during this Solar Eclipse (the Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Uranus at the same numerical degree in a zodiac sign) shows a highly positive side of this Solar Eclipse period.
'Expect' some unexpected and sudden windfalls, rewards, innovation, good luck, in whatever situation you are!
Indeed, this is truly an auspicious planetary configuration that will give a nice break in difficult circumstances and point to a solution and relief.
It's very innovative, showing huge progress (especially in science and technology).
Around March 11, Mercury and Neptune conjoin at 9° Pisces.
While Mercury is in the sign of its detriment, Neptune is in its own sign denoting nebulous Neptune overpowers rational Mercury.
Generally, this aspect is a spiritual one and a very melodic one as well, interested in music.
Consider listening to music or attending a concert.
Aside from creativity, inspiration and premonition, this aspect tends to just bring confusion.
The Sun at 21° Pisces opposes the mean North Node of the Moon around March 11-12 suggesting setbacks, changes in recognition, a suppressed ego or identity, low self-esteem, feelings of despair, an identity crisis, a setback or health challenges.
Around March 12 gentle Venus enters compassionate Pisces.
In this zodiac sign, Venus only sees what it wants to see: Universal Love.
This is a romantic position for Venus to be in and also a creative one.
Mercury at 16° Pisces squares Saturn at 16° Sagittarius around March 14 suggesting theft, expecting too much from others, being let down by occurrences and/or undependability.
Actually, Saturn is now the apex planet of a T-square and it squares Mercury on the one hand and Jupiter on the other hand.
This T-square suggests withdrawing from disputes to avoid a fight, the lonely stand, hesitation to decide, separation, to travel and/or leave a meeting due to disputes and/or disagreements.
Around the same day of March 14 Venus at 3° Pisces squares Mars at 3° Sagittarius denoting disputes, fanaticism, not giving in, trying to destroy things.
Indeed, when opposite forces like Venus and Mars combine, don't expect a peaceful or harmonious period.
Both planets together easily bump into each other because they pass boundaries instinctively and lack balance between giving and taking.
Around March 15 Mercury at 17° Pisces opposes Jupiter at 17° Virgo.
Both planets don't feel well in their respective zodiac signs because they are in the signs of their detriment/fall.
In other words, Mercury and Jupiter act like two drunken people holding each other strong.
When Mercury and Jupiter oppose each other in signs of their detriment and/or fall, they lack judgment and/or foresight.
In this position both planets tend to share gossip and vent ballooning comments.
There is a lot of restlessness, not being able to stand or sit still as well.
Both planets need change and that's what you long for.
Mercury opposes the mean North Node of the Moon around March 17 implying more restlessness and nervousness.
These days are hectic, busy and stressful for sure.
The Sun enters Aries around March 19-20 while Venus and Neptune conjoin at 10° Pisces on the same day.
These configurations long for absent beloved ones.
You are missing someone...
Mercury enters Aries as well around March 21-22 and indicates a talkative period.
Around this March 23 Full Moon period (because a Lunar Eclipse is actually a Full Moon) Jupiter at 16° Virgo squares Saturn at 16° Sagittarius.
Jupiter is the dispositor of Saturn because Jupiter rules the sign Saturn is posited in.
Whenever a planet squares its own dispositor, it presents us with challenges, hurdles and clashes.
In our January 21, 2015 Love Letter (issue #122) we already delineated this square and won't repeat the content here again.
Suffice to say that this square is very much linked to the European Union (EU) so that we assume this month is about the EU in whatever way.
Moreover, in the introduction to Issue #128 (sent on July 21, 2015) we elaborated on the Jupiter-Saturn cycle that is extremely important and that you should take into account if you are interested in the way the world will unfold and progress in the (near) future.
Anyway, the days around this Jupiter-Saturn square may bring damage to property or buildings, (enforced) separation, being outdoors, (financial) losses and/or resistance.
Additionally, the Jupiter-Saturn square does not act on its own because Pluto at 17° Capricorn will trine Jupiter and semi-sextile Saturn most of March 2016.
What this means is that Jupiter-Saturn and Pluto build a medium Learning Triangle together while Saturn is the dispositor of Pluto and Jupiter is the dispositor of Saturn.
This can be a shocking configuration and chances are some events may happen that disrupt your comfort zone or status quo.
You may feel the urge to take some decisions to cope with the events or experiences that unfold and affect you.
Indeed, this can be a stressful period full of sudden and unanticipated events that need a solution.
Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto together reinforce and confirm the separative trends (though this is not always negative because travel, job changes, retirement ... are all part of it).
Also, these three bodies together often indicate damage to property and/or buildings and often this is the result of natural disasters (earthquakes, floods,...).
Anyway, for some of you, March will mark a period of a standstill, reluctance and moving forward only very slowly and with lots of hurdles and obstructions.
But moving forward you will nevertheless, how small the baby steps are... because this is a very persevering combo.
You want to take control of your own situation, whatever it takes.
Around the same day of March 23, the Lunar Eclipse at 3° Libra opposes Mercury at 3° Aries.
This configuration too is about public talks or messages and lots of buzz.
You want to convince someone and/or try to impose your will and/or opinion to others.
Saturn stations and turns retrograde at 16° Sagittarius around March 25.
Whenever Saturn turns backward, chances are you will meet or encounter someone from the past.
During its station in Sagittarius, Saturn will reconsider international (foreign) business transactions and test your world view or belief system profoundly.
What and who do you trust?
During its station, Saturn is the apex planet of a T-square because on this day of March 25 Saturn squares Venus at 16° Pisces on the one hand and Jupiter at 16° Virgo on the other side.
This T-square suggests coming down to earth with a thud, a loss of faith, infidelity, not being able to unfold, not feeling well, to be separated from a beloved one, not being able to adapt to some situations, to experience a cold shower and/or hesitation or shyness in matters of love and relationships.
Indeed, these are sobering influences that you might take into account.
Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
In general and on a mundane level, the 2nd half of the month is again marked by retrograde Saturn being at the Neptune/mean North Node of the Moon midpoint (45° dial/list, orb 1°).
This suggests ongoing disappointments, feeling misunderstood and some issues establishing contacts with others.
Also, beware of betrayal.
Health issues are still part of the background influences this month.
There is some sadness and agony going on and people may more openly feel hurt emotionally which will be more noticeable in this 2nd half of the month.
Sociable Venus enters impulsive and selfish Aries around April 5.
In this zodiac sign, Venus is in its detriment and thus feels quite uncomfortable.
You may love to go your own way and want what you want, when you want it.
There is a huge urge to be busy and start over (a relationship, a job or whatever...).
In Aries, Venus loves a flirt because it wants to see if it's still desired and attractive for its own self-worth, not 'knowing' that self-love is more important than relying on the self-delusive love opinion or perception of others.
Both Venus and Mars are now in fire signs, intensifying the love life of all fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).
Around the same period of April 5-6, Mercury enters inert and stubborn Taurus, focusing on financial issues and matters (documents).
The entrance of Mercury in the earth sign Taurus is most often marked by security issues and changes of the place.
Some of you may travel or make a trip while others do some home improvements.
Mid April is marked by a Grand Trine in earth signs: Mercury in mid Taurus, Jupiter in mid Virgo and Pluto in mid Capricorn are all trine each other.
This astrological configuration is a favorable one; bringing success in diplomacy, being able to persuade others, big and successful proposals, powerful leadership and persuasive mass speeches.
Around April 17 Mars at 8° Sagittarius stations and turns retrograde.
Overall, retrograde Mars diminishes the energy level and turns the energy flow inwards.
This often results in more physical complaints on a personal level.
Around the station in fiery and showy Sagittarius, people may become more angry, impulsive and/or impatient.
Retrograde Mars shows a time to step back or slow down a bit.
Moreover, during Mars' station, Pluto stations at 17° Capricorn around April 18 also and turns retrograde as well.
Pluto's stations mark power struggles with or within the corporate world, governments, banking world etc.
Retrograde Pluto is further digging underground in the earth sign Capricorn and will give us some new secret revelations when it turns direct again in September 2016.
Venus and Uranus meet at 21° Aries, a degree of immigration, shipwreck, compulsory transportation and/or enforced migration, misfortune by accident or force, around the April 22 Full Moon period.
Actually, this Full Moon is another SuperMoon which may result in some extreme weather here and there.
Otherwise, the Venus-Uranus conjunction is a very exciting and enjoyable one that may bring sudden (short-lived) attractions and encounters, nice gifts or parcels and the like.
Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
In general and on a mundane level, the same planetary configurations that were active in February 2016 are active again this month of May 2016.
Indeed, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune are still building an exhausting and lingering T-square (Saturn being the apex planet) and while Saturn was at the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint in February 2016, this month of May 2016 it's stationing Jupiter that now hits the Saturn/Neptune midpoint (45° dial/list; orb 1°).
This midpoint suggests financial issues (shortages, expenses, losses, crashes and/or bankruptcy), dissatisfaction, not being able to develop oneself, dis-ease (especially related to lung, liver and/or blood issues), austerity, upset with the way this world unfolds, pessimism, losing the will to fight...
Clearly, this is an exhausting combo and you must take enough (deep) sleep to regenerate and try to keep a positive spirit and conquer health challenges.
Unfortunately, 'the fight' is not over yet and some additional courage and 'light' is deeply needed.
Jupiter stations and turns direct at 13° Virgo around May 9.
In Virgo, the zodiac sign of work and health, Jupiter struggles with numerous details, documents and administration.
There are tons of menial tasks to accomplish around the station and you tend to get lost a bit.
You may find that the final and tangible products don't really match the concept(s).
In critical Virgo, your belief system is challenged as well and you are still struggling with faith and trust.
However, because of Jupiter's direct motion, you will slowly regain faith after you have managed to cope with the menial tasks.
Because stationing Jupiter magnifies, expands and intensifies a lot, health challenges may be experienced.
Fortunately, the direct motion of expansive Jupiter is slowly going to show its more flamboyant and outgoing traits (especially when Jupiter leaves introvert Virgo in September 2016).
The station will bring a slow start to better economics and more business ventures.
It may help health research and employee satisfaction.
Mercury and Venus conjoin at 16° Taurus around the same day of May 13 suggesting words (and communication) beautifully expressed and/or diplomatic skills.
This can be a very creative (artistic) conjunction that shows love in a tangible way.
Often, this combo points to lovingly commemorating someone or some situation.
The Sun enters volatile and communicative Gemini around May 20.
Nothing stays the same and you will need to be and remain flexible to adapt yourself to the ever changing energies.
The focus for the coming weeks is about information gathering, rumors and gossip...
The May 21 Full Moon period can be challenging because the Moon is void of course just before the Full Moon takes place at 1° Sagittarius (a degree of police, crimes and/or investigative work).
In numerous instances a void of course Moon prior to a Full Moon suggests that the 48 hours before the Full Moon can be highly explosive.
It implies that situations may get out of hand, out of control and this configuration may point to a crisis event or mass event that is out of control.
Around the same day of May 22, the Sun at 1° Gemini opposes Mars at 1° Sagittarius adding to this explosive Full Moon period.
The Sun-Mars opposition points to violence and accidents but also to the dare-devil, trouble-maker and/or trouble-shooter.
This is a very competitive and goal-oriented aspect, driven by primal urges, impatience and self-interests.
Still around the same day of May 22, Mercury stations at 14° Taurus and goes direct again.
Rejoice Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) because things are slowly getting better for you and 'moving forward' again.
Because in the 45° dial/list Mercury's station falls at the stationing Neptune/Pluto midpoint since May 18, we expect the whole time frame between May 18 and 27 to revolve around cancelling plans, not being able to carry out plans, material losses, the force of a group and/or group dynamics, nervous irritability and/or having to obey or submit to others.
This looks like a turbulent time frame.
Venus enters unstable Gemini around May 24.
In this position, Venus becomes the social butterfly, always looking for a flirt and unable making a choice.
Sociable Venus just loves wandering and encountering many people in a rather superficial way.
The day after, around May 25 Venus at 0° Gemini opposes Mars at 0° Sagittarius which is hardly a peaceful aspect.
Venus-Mars aspects suggest difficulties in knowing boundaries and most often this results in clashes, accidents, impulsively jumping into each other and conflicts.
It's a very impulsive aspect indeed that acts first and thinks later.
Jupiter at 13° Virgo squares Saturn at 13° Sagittarius around May 26.
In mundane astrology, this Jupiter-Saturn aspect points to the European Union that is still in the spotlight the whole month of May.
Property and buildings too will mark this month for whatever reason as this aspect becomes exact now.
Around May 27 retrograde Mars (re-)enters intense Scorpio, resulting in determination and stamina.
In Scorpio, penetrating Mars obsessively goes to the bottom of anything it has set its mind on.
Often, this entrance also shows sexual interests as well as secret deals or activities.
Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
In general and on a mundane level, the exhausting and lingering T-square (Saturn being the apex planet and at the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint in the 45° dial; orb 1°) is fully active this month.
Take care of your health and try to sleep as much as possible to let your body and mind regenerate.
Moreover, this T-square will become a mutable Grand Square on different occasions this month when some faster moving bodies oppose Saturn.
A Grand Square in mutable signs acts like a windmill, turning things upside-down and moving everything that was seemingly 'fixed.'
The wheel is turning indeed!
This mutable Grand Square is likely to affect all mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) in particular.
These are highly unstable and volatile energies, bringing lots of nervousness and restlessness in the ever changing atmosphere.
The keywords for the month surely are: adjusting and adapting to new circumstances, a new environment, new relationships etc...
Also, around the same day of June 1, Mercury, Pluto and the North Node of the Moon build a Grand Trine in earth signs suggesting news, messages or information related to finances and/or economy that bring stability and comfort.
A Grand Trine in earth signs is very persistent and determined to bring (material) support wherever necessary.
Persuasive speeches or information get your attention.
Around June 1-2, the Sun at 12° Gemini squares Neptune at 12° Pisces while Venus too is about to square Neptune the day after.
You may feel down these first days of June, may miss a loved one and face some health issues.
Beware of alcohol and/or drug abuse.
There are unfulfilled longings and your romantic ideals cannot be attained.
Moreover, around the same day of June 2-3 the Sun and Venus at 13° Gemini oppose Saturn at 13° Sagittarius.
The attentive reader may have noticed already that these early June days are marked by a Grand Square in mutable signs between the Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune -- all posited between 12°-14°.
Let's take a closer look at this mutable Grand Square for a moment.
A mutable Grand Square is always a stress factor that results in adjustments, changes and new relationships (in a wide sense).
Often, such a Grand Square involves separations and changes of the place.
Things are clearly moving and you need to be flexible and learn to go with the flow.
What else can we expect from this Grand Square?
Due to the planets and bodies involved, there is love's sorrow, dissatisfaction, sadness, pessimistic feelings, loss of money and/or possessions, a lack of trust, financial issues, unrealistic ideals, a lack of popularity and/or (self-)delusion.
Around June 4, the Sun at 14° Gemini squares Jupiter at 14° Virgo.
This waning square is about keeping up appearances, exaggeration, bold and blunt communication.
However, aside from love affairs, the June 5 New Moon is an auspicious one, blending the New Moon with Venus and Jupiter at the same numerical degree (14° in a sign).
There are pleasant and joyful circumstances, humanism, happiness, goodwill and advancement noticeable.
If you are born around January 5, February 3-4, March 4-5, April 3-4, May 4-5, June 4-5, July 5-6, August 6-7, September 6-7, October 7, November 6 or December 5-6, you will likely feel the optimistic trends most in case there is no tight Sun-Saturn aspect in your natal chart.
The Sun and Venus conjoin at 16° Gemini around June 6 suggesting passionate involvements and romantic moments.
Love is all around.
These days of June 5-6 can be important conception days because the conjunction happens at a very 'fertile degree.'
The Sun and Venus at 17° Gemini square the Nodes of the Moon around June 7.
Usually, when planets square the Lunar Nodes, they point to difficulties in relationships (in a wide sense).
The acceptability and social expression of love urges are questioned.
Love affairs may result in some setback, a loss, an identity crisis and/or may have financial consequences.
Saturn at 12° Sagittarius squares stationing Neptune at 12° Pisces around June 18.
This is the 2nd Saturn-Neptune square (one more to go in September 2016) and especially important because of Neptune's powerful position while stationing in its own sign.
Neptune here is the pure dissolver, sucking anything formal, conservative, traditional, obstructive, prominent or of authority... (Saturnine principles).
In mundane astrology, the Saturn-Neptune cycle is told to bring more socialism, more syndicalism and it is also highly important for the British Monarchy.
Don't expect any certainties for the coming months, the 'old' (Saturn) will further dissolve, dissipate, evaporate (Neptune) and structures (Saturn) will further decay (Neptune), leaving you more insecure, perhaps, but with less annoying boundaries and restrictions for the coming months also.
Unfortunately, it's an aspect of illness and that's why this month may be full of health issues.
Realize that health issues are part of a cleansing period (literally and figuratively) and that's just what this waning Saturn-Neptune square is about!
You might want to (re-)read our assessment of the Saturn-Neptune square in the back-issues of our Love Letter: the introduction to Issue #122 and the featured article in Issue #120.
Separation, sadness and even mourning is confirmed by the opposition between Mercury at 11° Gemini and Saturn at 11° Sagittarius and the square to Neptune at 12° Pisces around the same day of June 20.
Actually, Mercury, Saturn and Neptune currently build a mutable T-square at 11°-12° in mutable signs.
Stationing Neptune is the apex planet and indicates disoriented feelings, mental stress and confusion.
This is the T-square of resignation, giving up, giving in, sadness and unfulfilled longings.
The Sun enters home-loving, emotional and patriotic Cancer on the same day of June 20, adding to the current emotional atmosphere.
Around June 22-23, Mercury at 16° Gemini (powerful in its own sign) squares Jupiter at 16° Virgo (Jupiter is in the sign of its fall).
Mercury is the stronger of the two and also the dispositor of a weak Jupiter, denoting facts that prevail, a lack of foresight, negligence, tricky legalisms and scandal(s).
There is a whole lot of stress and buzz around this day of June 22-23 because, additionally, Mercury at 16° Gemini squares the Nodes as well.
There are misunderstandings and poor communication.
Around June 24-25 Jupiter and the mean North Node of the Moon are conjunct at 16° Virgo.
Whenever Jupiter is involved, there is the risk of exaggeration, overdoing and expansion.
Because 16° Virgo is quite a positive, humanitarian and giving degree area, this conjunction often points to large expenditures and money going out easily.
There is increased support and interest in philosophy and inner growth.
In all, this can be a very outgoing, expansive and extravert aspect, making big, if not HUGE promises.
Mars stations and turns direct again at 23° Scorpio around the same day of June 29-30.
Rejoice if you are an Aries or have Aries rising.
Stationing Mars will bring about more competitiveness again and will focus with full determination on everything hidden.
It's likely some new information will pop up regarding Scorpio-related matters (abuse, manipulation, power-conflicts, force...).
Slowly, health issues may become less annoying as Mars gets more speed (when Mars is retrograde it is closest to the earth and thus has more influence on the physical and material world).
Around June 30 you feel more optimism and some persuasive speeches may add to it.
Let's take a look now at how the month will unfold.
In general and on a mundane level, the stationing Uranus/Neptune midpoint may bring water-related issues, inundations and/or floods here and there, peaking around July 12.
Around July 1 Venus at 16° Cancer opposes Pluto at 16° Capricorn.
This forceful aspect has power issues.
Either you use too much force and power or you are the victim of such things.
In matters of love and finances, this opposition intensifies issues which may result in insatiable feelings, rejection and blackmail.
The July 4 New Moon period may be rainy and transformative.
Issues with electricity, computers and electronics may influence the day.
Expect eventful days around July 7 when the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 15° Cancer, the Sun and Mercury also oppose Pluto at 16° Capricorn and Venus at 24° Cancer squares Uranus at 24° Aries.
Emotional turmoil and power conflicts may arise resulting in a break-up or separation.
Also, transportation issues may result in separations as well.
Whenever Pluto is involved, expect events to happen that cause mental annoyance and have an emotional impact.
There can be news about big corporations, governments and/or the banking world.
Also, anger and dissatisfaction need an outlet.
Some sensation, revelations and drama may be what you're looking for actually.
Around July 11 Mercury at 24° Cancer squares Uranus at 24° Aries.
There is nervous tension and restlessness and you scramble because of sudden domestic events.
Some home repair may be necessary.
In astrometeorology, Mercury-Uranus squares suggest winds and even stormy weather here and there, the more so because Uranus is about to station and thus increasingly powerful.
Venus enters playful and dramatic Leo around July 12 and finds new hope.
You may find comfort in artistic projects (photography for example) and/or enjoy music concerts but beware of encounters with unreliable people/strangers.
Mercury at 28° Leo squares Mars at 28° Scorpio around July 29 when Uranus stations at 24° Aries and turns retrograde.
Clearly, these are very accident-prone configurations and beware of transportation and traffic accidents/issues here and there.
There can be more violence and anger around these late July days as well!
Don't be too sarcastic and rash in your speaking and don't be too offensive either.
Also, you better don't jump to conclusions too soon and don't take any important decision around Uranus' station.
You tend to be too impulsive and reckless and cannot see all the consequences involved just now.
Mercury enters its own sign Virgo around July 30.
The minutest details count and your are involved with menial tasks and/or administration.
Often, this position of Mercury in Virgo, the sign of small animals and insects, suggests taking care of or being involved with these creatures one way or the other as well as long as Mercury resides in Virgo.
Around the August 2 New Moon impulsive Mars enters fiery Sagittarius.
In astrometeorology, Mars in this dry fire sign may raise the temperature and bring drier weather.
Beware of more fires here and there (fiery Mars in the spreading sign Sagittarius may just increase the risk of wildfires, blazes and fires spreading fast).
The entrance of Mars in expansive Sagittarius is also known for its assertive, pushy and even defensive behavior and traits.
Indeed, this placement is often related to fighting for or against a cause or a belief.
This can be the position of the crusader who becomes self-righteous, over-doing in a fanatical way.
Expect fiery debates in matters of religion, politics, foreign affairs etc. as long as Mars resides in Sagittarius.
Try to be moderate and try to balance extremely strong convictions and don't try to convert others.
The first days of August can be windy and even stormy here and there as well.
Venus enters the earth sign Virgo around August 5.
If you're still single, perhaps you may find love at the working floor (among co-workers) but you may also enjoy your work rather than looking for love.
Because all earth signs are focused on the physical and material world, Venus needs some tangible tokens to blossom.
In Virgo, Venus now appreciates beauty and perfection -- which it often does not find.
Too much fault-finding can be an issue here.
Around August 6 Mercury at 9° Virgo squares Saturn at 9° Sagittarius resulting in annoyance and fixed ideas.
You can't stand the narrow thinking, the negativity and the fear-mongering.
Venus at 1° Virgo squares Mars at 1° Sagittarius around August 6-7.
Venus-Mars squares are never peaceful in mundane astrology!
Expect turbulent and accident-prone times early August (and even the whole month because Venus and Mars will remain in zodiac signs that square each other).
Whenever Venus and Mars clash, issues about boundaries pop up.
Beware of aggression, rape and/or violence.
A flirt now may break hearts.
Sometimes being too spontaneous may bring you trouble, especially during Venus-Mars transits.
Around August 13 limiting Saturn stations at 9° Sagittarius and goes direct again while Venus at 9° Virgo squares stationing Saturn.
This is a powerful separative combination.
In matters of love, Venus in Virgo (the sign of its fall) in a square aspect with blocking and stationing Saturn represents the huge and tragic disappointment.
There is rejection, unrequited love, being misunderstood and, in some instances, health issues (often related to the skin) are likely to pop up also.
Moreover, stationing Saturn in Sagittarius is at a separative degree also, reinforcing the current sad and separative tendencies.
Stationing Saturn in expansive Sagittarius wants to set boundaries and limitations in a way that works for many.
Now is the time to be more flexible and understand that what is truth for one person is not truth for another person.
Around August 14 Venus at 11° Virgo opposes Neptune at 11° Pisces.
The attentive reader will have noticed that when first Venus squares Saturn and then Venus opposes Neptune, we have to do with a (mutable) T-square in which stationing Saturn is the apex planet.
Clearly, mid August 2016 is marked by love's sorrow, separation, unrequited love, delusion in love, sadness...
Stationing Saturn, being the apex planet of the T-square represents the need to get rid of insecurity issues, negative and pessimistic attitudes and learn to trust more.
Responsibility in any kind of relationships is necessary.
Around August 16 Venus and the North Node of the Moon conjoin at 13° Virgo.
The North Node of the Moon is thus part of the T-square that involves, Venus, Saturn and Neptune as well.
Indeed, this all points to separation from a loved one (for whatever reason), and sadness.
When Venus and the North Node meet, you want to attend parties, music concerts, enjoyable gatherings but chances are you may feel disappointed just now because of the current astrological configurations.
Around August 18 there is a Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) at 25° Aquarius, a degree of plane crashes, living in a transit phase, ready to separate and/or travel and/or quit.
You may be vacillating or balancing between two opposite possibilities, ventures, options... and you can't decide just yet.
There can be triangular relationships, being on the move frequently, undecided choices between the old and the new and, especially, a feeling that your life is going to take a profound turn entirely, in whatever way.
There is no need to choose right now though, the choices will be presented automatically as soon as the time is right.
We are entering separative months for sure, especially considering the upcoming separative September 1 Solar Eclipse that reinforces and even emphasizes the separative trends that are already active during this late August Lunar Eclipse period.
People will start to massively change jobs, lovers, partners, places of residence... in the coming months.
Mercury and Jupiter conjoin at 26° Virgo around August 22.
Mercury is more powerful than Jupiter because Mercury is in its own sign while Jupiter resides in the sign of its fall.
This conjunction suggests that facts & figures are more important than the concept(s) and/or judgment(s).
Pay attention to the numerous details and beware of (il)legal or false documents.
The Sun enters Virgo, the sign of work and health around August 22.
With so many planets and bodies in the earth sign Virgo now, your main focus is on work, the minutest details, small animals and/or health.
Around August 24, Mars and Saturn are conjunct at 9° Sagittarius, which is the position of the Fixed Star Antares.
This configuration presents malevolent and destructive energies that will last quite some days.
This is the more so because Mars is already widely square the Moon's Nodes that is almost always indicating tragic mass events, violence and accidents of all kinds affecting groups of people.
Regular readers of our forecasts will already know we don't like contacts between Mars and the Lunar Nodes because of this turbulent and bloody combo.
Around August 28-29, stationing Mercury and Venus conjoin at 29° Virgo, an ending degree.
There can be enjoyable conversations and you may want more harmony around these days.
You may also want to end some situation(s) and will try to use your best diplomatic skills.
Mars at 12° Sagittarius squares the Lunar Nodes around August 29-30 causing grief and upsetting situations and violence or accidents, as already mentioned.
Venus enters its own sign Libra around the same day of August 30 and is in a very sociable mood.
Social gatherings, parties and mass events are on the agenda.
However, because of Mercury's station around the same day of August 30, it's not too good a day for making agreements.
Mercury turns retrograde and it's likely you will reconsider any agreements later on.
Don't take any important decision just now until Mercury turns direct again around September 22.
In mundane astrology, stationing Mercury increases the risks of strikes here and there.
If you are a Gemini or a Virgo, or have Gemini or Virgo on the Ascendant, these late August days may not be to your liking.
You may not feel too well and would like to retreat.
Things don't work out too well and you may want to keep a low profile, the more so because the upcoming September 1 Solar Eclipse at 9° Virgo is already noticeable and will likely affect all Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) in particular.
A Solar Eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse, 4 planets/bodies changing signs, Saturn squaring Neptune (for the last time) and 2 planetary stations; these are September's ingredients suggesting a highly busy and eventful month.
If you like the roller coaster or not, prepare for a tumultuous month.
Also, around the same day of September 1, there is a Solar Eclipse at 9° Virgo conjunct the Fixed Star Alioth.
This Solar Eclipse belongs to the 19 North Saros Series and according to the astrologer and researcher
Bernadette Brady, this one is about 'coming down to earth.'
In the coming months you will become aware of an old situation and see it for what it is rather than what you thought it was.
This Solar Eclipse will tackle the truth in the next 6 months.
Moreover, this Solar Eclipse contains deep issues around financial mistrust and some broken dreams will have to be faced in the next months.
Some of you may give up and have no fighting spirit left inside to carry on while others may feel desperate (especially because of financial reasons).
Indeed, the coming months may show a loss of faith and may be a bummer in many ways.
There are separative trends noticeable and people more frequently having triangular and/or secret relationships and affairs.
Betrayal and friendships ending (for whatever reason) are part of the meaning.
The separative influences (often due to death or illness also) are confirmed and possibly reinforced because the Solar Eclipse conjuncts the Fixed Star Alioth.
Health issues may affect some pregnant women especially, resulting in increased miscarriages or abortions.
The Sun at 10° Virgo squares Saturn at 10° Sagittarius and opposes Neptune at 10° Pisces around September 2.
The early September days are thus marked by a (mutable) T-square with Saturn being the apex planet.
Around September 2, Mercury and Jupiter meet at 28° Virgo suggesting that lots of the minutest facts have to be checked.
Amidst all the daily and burdensome realities, some good news may bring hope though.
Because the Sun and the North Node of the Moon conjoin at 12° Virgo around September 4 (denoting the Lunar Nodes are part of this T-square), the early September days will likely bring sadness, separation, illness, divorce, misunderstandings, betrayal, hospitalization, disappointments all over.
Jupiter enters sociable Libra around September 9 in which it feels quite well.
Jupiter in Libra, the sign of relationships (in the widest sense), encounters and gatherings often wants to legalize bonds.
(Legal) Agreements are on the agenda.
Also, some females born under the zodiac sign of Libra are likely to become pregnant and the more so when Jupiter conjuncts the natal Sun.
Libras and Libra Ascendants are about to experience some auspicious developments as long as Jupiter resides in Libra.
Also, Justice is coming...
However, currently at 0° Libra, Jupiter seeks the masses and mass events may now be what pleases you most.
Around September 10 Saturn at 10° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 10° Pisces, the last square in a series of three -- the first of which we experienced in late 2015.
It's the strongest planetary aspect that is currently active and because it's the last square in the series, it will manifest more profoundly.
You might want to (re-)read our assessment of the Saturn-Neptune square in the back-issues of our Love Letter: the introduction to Issue 122 and the featured article in Issue 120.
Because both planets are at 10° in a sign, it will affect you most if you are born around January 1, January 16, January 30-31, February 28-29 or March 1, March 30-31, April 14-15, April 30, May 31-June 1, July 1-2, July 17, August 2, September 2, October 2, October 18, November 2 or December 2.
We recall that this Saturn-Neptune square indicates a more social and syndicalist atmosphere in mundane astrology.
Venus at 14° Libra squares Pluto at 14° Capricorn around September 11 denoting unrequited love, a lot of sacrifice and adoration for... nothing.
This aspect reflects too intense emotions that cannot be fulfilled.
There is irresistible attraction though, but you will have to pay a huge price...
Between September 11-14 expect disputes, disagreements, quarrels etc.
Indeed, Mercury at 20° Virgo squares Mars at 20° Sagittarius around September 12, while the Sun and Mercury conjoin at 20° Virgo around the same day and the Sun at 21° Virgo also squares Mars at 21° Sagittarius around September 13.
In other words, when the Sun, Mercury and Mars build tight aspects together, expect a cynical period, a big mouth, blaming and insulting others...
Beware of traffic and/or transportation accidents also.
Mercury stations and turns direct again around September 22.
Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) will be happy to read matters are slowly proceeding and moving forward again.
In mundane astrology, Mercury's stations often coincide with increased risks of strikes.
Around the same day of September 22 the Sun enters Libra, the sign of relationships, agreements, encounters and diplomacy.
In some instances, this period marks new relationships, new encounters and changing your own social environment.
Due to the entrance of the Sun in Libra, the sign that also holds transiting Jupiter, chances are that the coming weeks are more peaceful as long as the Sun and Jupiter are in each other's neighborhood.
Venus enters Scorpio, the sign of its detriment around September 23 indicating breaking out of the cage and showing liberating tendencies.
Indeed, September 21-23 mark a change of and in your relationships, often starting all over... with someone else...
Stationing Pluto in the earth sign Capricorn is about to dig up and uncover a lot that it has been investigating since its retrograde motion in April 2016.
Stationing Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of the corporate and banking world, governments and higher-ups, will likely start another round of huge and profound transformations that will revamp the world at large.
In mundane astrology, 14° Capricorn reflects unexpected solutions to ongoing disasters or dire situations.
It represents unanticipated fortunate changes, developments and transformations and is therefore called the 'thank God' degree.
Indeed, 14° Capricorn represents the development of a newly sprouting seed revealing a new beginning of some sort.
Also, because of the Solar Eclipse in the earth sign Virgo and stationing Pluto in an earth sign too, this whole month of September may bring some earth-slides, earthquakes or natural disasters here and there.
Restrictive Saturn at 11° Sagittarius squares the Nodes around September 26, presenting issues related to (an) authority figure(s).
This can be an upsetting and separative aspect.
You may be separated from an older person as well.
The day after, around September 27 Mars enters Capricorn, the sign of governments, the corporate and banking world, rulers, leaders, CEO's etc.
Mars entering Capricorn often points to the armed forces (police, the army) entering the spotlight -- most often due to public interventions.
Mars in Capricorn is very well placed and is taking action in a tactical and strategical way.
There is fierce competition and you feel driven to accomplish your plans.
In astrometeorology, Mars in the cold sign Capricorn is likely to decrease the temperature and cool the atmosphere.
The New Moon period of September 30 - October 1 suggests longings and unfulfilled love dreams.
The Sun at 22° Libra opposes Uranus at 22° Aries around October 15.
There are surprises coming our way, innovations, inventions and discoveries.
Moreover, Mercury at 15° Libra squares Pluto at 15° Capricorn around the October 16 Full Moon.
This denotes that this Full Moon conjuncts Uranus while the Mercury-Pluto square is active.
This can be a very accident-prone combo indeed (especially related to transportation accidents) and you better be careful when taking the bus, train, etc.
Beware of explosions or blasts because the Moon is void of course during this Full Moon phase.
Mars and Pluto conjoin at 15° Capricorn around October 19.
This violent and turbulent combo at a so-called 'critical degree' cannot let go of the past and wants to go its own way in a forceful way, whatever it takes.
There is lots of tenacious courage and giving in is not an option.
You may feel isolated and find it difficult getting off the ground.
Rage won't help you any further though...
Around October 20 Mercury at 22° Libra opposes Uranus at 22° Aries.
In mundane astrology, this degree area is associated with shipwreck making maritime disasters a possibility.
Because both planets rule air signs, air traffic issues might be noticeable as well.
Also, the Mercury-Uranus opposition can be tactless and contradicting points of view or messages.
In the earth sign Capricorn, Venus is especially interested in money and tangible things that stand a little out and are classy.
You may feel attracted to older people, business-like people, managers or people who "made it."
The focus is on the banking world as well and everything that brings more security in our lives.
Around the same day of November 12, Mercury enters expansive Sagittarius and spreads the word(s).
In conceptual Sagittarius, rational and cerebral Mercury feels overwhelmed, but it shares the same restlessness.
Trips and travel are on the agenda and as long as Mercury resides in this mutable fire sign, there can be lots of talks, speeches, wonderful story-telling etc.
The November 14 Full Moon period (which is actually a SuperMoon because the Moon is closest to the Earth now) can be windy, even quite stormy here and there.
Expect some extreme weather here and there.
Mercury at 8° Sagittarius squares the mean Lunar Nodes around November 17-18 suggesting a very hectic, busy and stressful period.
Moreover, Mercury at 9° Sagittarius squares (stationing) Neptune at 9° Pisces around the same period of November 18-19.
In other words, Mercury is the apex planet of a T-square built by (stationing) Neptune and the mean North Node of the Moon.
This mutable square indicates misunderstandings, lies, theft, betrayal, secret deals, falsehood, expecting too much from others and/or being let down by the occurrences.
Deceptions are almost a given, the more so because, additionally, illusive Neptune stations at 9° Sagittarius around November 20 and creates an atmosphere of mist and fog, uncertainty, confusion and disappointments.
There can be water-related or maritime issues or disasters going on as well around these days.
You better stay grounded mid November and don't be swayed by what you experience.
Stationing Neptune is turning direct and wants you to let go now and move on with your life.
This planetary station is best lived in a creative way (by listening to music or going to a concert for example).
Around November 21-22 the Sun enters flamboyant Sagittarius and becomes hopeful and optimistic.
It has big, even huge aspirations and everything develops according to plan.
The waning Jupiter-Pluto square (both planets being positioned at a so-called 'critical degree') points to damage, financial expenses and/or losses.
It reflects the final metamorphosis, trying to profoundly overhaul and change one's beliefs or convictions -- difficult as this may be.
In this position Jupiter and Pluto may have huge financial implications or meanings for corporations, the banking world and/or governments.
The waxing Venus-Jupiter square reflects indulgence, spendthrift and overdoing, presenting a ballooning life style.
Venus, Jupiter and Pluto at the same numerical degree in a sign (15°) indicate a highly creative and artistic period, popularity, publicity, unbounded optimism and enthusiasm, happiness in love, highly fortunate developments, especially so if natal Saturn and/or Neptune do not interfere and if you are born around January 6, February 4-5, March 5, April 4-5, May 5, June 5-6, July 6-7, August 7-8, September 7, October 8, November 7 or December 7.
Beware of indulgence though -- too much of a good thing is never good.
The Sun at 7° Sagittarius squares the mean Lunar Nodes around the November 29-30 New Moon while Venus at 20° Capricorn squares Uranus at 20° Aries.
This is a rather frustrating and disappointing New Moon period because the New Moon is the apex body of another mutable T-square built by Neptune and the Lunar North Node.
You may feel lonely, face unrequited love, experience the illness and/or hospitalization of yourself or a loved one.
Your vitality is low and you are discouraged.
Dealing with others is not easy and you may feel misunderstood easily.
Generally speaking and on a mundane level, December 2016 is marked by a powerful midpoint combination that will increase in power as the month unfolds and that will peak at the turn of the year.
In the 45° dial, the (stationing) Uranus/Neptune (UR/NE) and Jupiter/Neptune (JU/NE) midpoints are both at 0° Aries (the Vernal Point, Vp) .
The Vernal Point represents the "World at large", our planet Earth as a whole or a community.
The two mentioned midpoints will thus influence our whole world.
Because the Uranus/Neptune midpoint contains two generational (slow-moving) planets, the influences will last some time.
The signification of this planetary picture can be defined as follows: "the awakening world", to be more sensitive and impressionable, the influence of metaphysics and/or the spiritual world on Earth, the changes in social and political structures due to new ideals and dreams of the future, movements who diminish the power of authority of the nation's leadership or governmental systems, the increased chaos and confusioon worldwide.
This midpoint is one of the most "immaterial" ones of all and therefore also represents "the digital era", energies that are invisible and/or that are working out on a subconscious level.
It's about a general (global) consciousness shift when it is at the Vernal Point.
The additional influence of the Jupiter/Neptune midpoint that starts to be more prominent around and after the December 13-14 SuperMoon (Full Moon) and that increases in power at the turn of the year, adds quite some euphoric characteristics.
Ironically, among the chaos, scandals and irritability, strange conditions will bring a grand spirit and a lucky mood.
Also, in astrometeorology, the Vp = Uranus/Neptune = Jupiter/Neptune picture (Vp = UR/NE = JU/NE) is statistically often associated with floods, precipitation (rain or snow), inundations and other water-related issues here and there.
So, be prepared!
The other astrological configuration that will be felt already is the wide T-square in Cardinal signs between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in which Pluto in Capricorn is the apex body.
Pluto of profound transformations and reversals also represents the underworld, and is fond of investigating the complex undercurrents of the world and it feels highly driven to expose things to the surface.
As Pluto leaves 15° Capricorn and goes to 16° and 17° Capricorn, things will start to become more and more surreal between late December 2016 and late January 2017.
This T-square shows powerful, all-consuming obsessions that may tax emotional energies.
This astrological pattern represents a huge power conflict (actually, a battle) and is about gaining control over others, whatever it takes.
This is a very complicated pattern, very puzzling, mysterious but with intense, ruthless and forceful drives to succeed.
There is a crisis situation that demands immediate and decisive reactions and because Jupiter and Uranus are involved in this pattern, there is penetrating insight to successfully relieve the crisis situation.
Because the pattern is not exact and will linger on well into 2017, there is a story to be continued for months to come.
This pattern is just not about willingly sharing power but about active, explosive and intense confrontations.
Mars enters dissolving Pisces around December 19 while Mercury at 15° Capricorn stations and turns retrograde on the same day.
As usual, stationing Mercury indicates minor and temporary setbacks in the life of Geminis and Virgos (or Gemini and Virgo Ascendants).
Things just don't go your way and you may not feel too well.
Don't take any important decisions and wait till Mercury moves forward again after January 8, 2017.
During Mercury's station, there are increased chances of strikes here and there.
The additional entrance of Mars in mutable Pisces too will affect Geminis and Virgos (as well as the other mutable signs Sagittarius and Pisces).
It's likely most of these mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) will be "under fire" one way or the other.
Mars in Pisces is very secretive and there are many activities going on behind the scenes and behind one's back.
Late December 2016 and early January 2017 mark a very treacherous period with Mars, the Lunar South Node and Neptune getting together in Pisces of hidden activities.
Especially after the December 21 Last Quarter Moon at 29° Virgo, there is a real sense of suspicious associations, rejection or threats and deceptions.
In Pisces, Mars is going to sacrifice a lot, easily becoming the victim of its not knowing any boundaries.
Service to others reigns.
Following astrometeorology, fiery Mars in watery Pisces also produces damp and mild weather, increasing the likelihood of more precipitation generally speaking.
Around December 26 Jupiter at 20° Libra opposes liberating and original Uranus at 20° Aries.
Know that Uranus is almost stationing as well so that it has the upper hand in this aspect.
In mundane astrology, the Jupiter-Uranus opposition implies changes related to the free market (capitalism), thrilling innovations, discoveries, social reforms and progress.
Freedom of thought and beliefs cannot be compromised and this aspect challenges society to radically restructure its existing structures.
This opposition is highly critical (even opposing) of society and easily feels angry when betrayed.
Needless to say that this too can be a very auspicious aspect bringing unexpected fortunate happenings.
Generally, and the bottom-line as well, any Jupiter-Uranus aspect brings relief in whatever situation you are in.
Uranus oppositions tend to indicate separations too: separation from beliefs, religions and laws.
Personal freedom and liberating tendencies (stationing Uranus in selfish and personal Aries) will prevail late 2016.
Around December 27, Mars at 6° Pisces opposes the North Node of the Moon at 6° Virgo.
Mars-Lunar Node aspects are always something to watch out for because they are most often related to accidents causing physical injuries for many (shootings, traffic- or transportation accidents and the like).
So, late December can be very accident-prone and turbulent also.
The Sun and Mercury conjoin at 7° Capricorn around December 28.
There can be a message or news about some sort of separation (a career change, a change of residence, someone leaving your world,...).
Indeed, December 28-29 may bring another reality check.
Around the December 29 New Moon period, Uranus at 20° Aries stations and turns direct again.
This station indicates surprises that can be turbulent and disruptive in some way but very revealing nevertheless.
For some of you, this station marks unexpected pregnancy but for most of you, it may bring a sudden transformation that will impatiently urge you to leave the old behind and move fast forward.
Between December 29-31 (retrograde) Mercury will go over the configurations it hit around December 4, repeating the themes of study, research, investigations, tenacity and determination.
