Because we only and solely delineate the transiting planets/bodies and midpoints that aspect your natal Sun WITHOUT taking into account any interference from any other natal planet/body (because we don't have your natal chart that contains much more planets/bodies and points than just the Sun).

If, for example, the transiting Jupiter/Uranus midpoint aspects your natal Sun, this may indicate a fortunate event -- which we will mention.

However, if, in your natal chart, Saturn aspects the Sun (which we cannot know), the meaning of this configuration changes completely and becomes more challenging and you may find our prediction to be wrong for you.

In general and on a mundane level, events are likely to happen around

During this month of January, the following planetary configuration will likely affect some birthdays in particular:

If you are born around January 14, February 28, April 14, May 30-31, July 17, September 1-2, October 17-18 or December 1, this month suggests a sudden turn of events.

Some things seem to happen overnight and are unusual as well.

There can be sudden disruptions and some issues with electricity, ICT and electronics may be part of it.In the 45° dial, the transiting Uranus/Chiron midpoint is right at your natal Sun (SOn = UR/CHt)

Generally speaking, January 2, 3, 4 and 18 are "less lucky" days.

Try not to initiate any major projects on these dark, unfortunate, chaotic and empty days (no proposals, no marriages, no changes of residence,...) because things may not go as planned or wished.

In the 45° dial, there are numerous powerful midpoint combos between outer planets going on that will be exact this month and that will mark this month's Zeitgeist.

First of all, the Neptune/Chiron midpoint is at the Vernal point or Aries point (0° Aries) (Vp = NE/CH), reflecting "the world at large" and having a profound influence on the whole world at large, as one unity and entity.

Then, there is Pluto hitting the Jupiter/Neptune and Saturn/Chiron midpoints (PL = JU/NE = SA/CH).

Additionally, the Saturn/Neptune midpoint exactly hits the Pluto/Chiron midpoint (SA/NE = PL/CH) and the Saturn/Uranus midpoint hits the Pluto/mean Lunar Node midpoint (SA/UR = PL/KN).

The Neptune/Chiron midpoint being exactly at the Vernal point (Vp = NE/CH) kept lingering on for some time already but now it's exact and thus fully affecting the world at large.

There is worldwide agony, cognitive dissonance and something weird is going on that cannot be fully explained just yet.

Things are too illusive to be seen at this time and there is suffering, a feeling of disillusionment and sadness overall.

Following astrometeorology, this midpoint might coincide with lots of (worldwide) precipitation (rain, snow, floods, inundations, ...).

Slow-moving Pluto too has been lingering on and hitting some powerful midpoints and, currently again, it's exactly hitting the Jupiter/Neptune and harsh Saturn/Chiron midpoints once more (PL = JU/NE = SA/CH).

The PL = SA/CH midpoint is one of the harshest ones to experience.

All Saturn/Chiron midpoints are harsh, especially on a physical and/or material level, but when intense and forceful Pluto enters the picture, it adds some darkness and always has a (traumatic) emotional connotation.

Hence, this midpoint may bring quite some (material and/or physical) intense and traumatic hardship here and there.

It might present definite turning points, without any turning back at all because the past is "lost" or over and "the bridge that is crossed is burned."

The PL = JU/NE midpoint combination on the other hand is indicative of, among others, financial issues, the big financial (or market) crash, huge expenses or financial losses, the big scandal(s) or corruption or fraud, fanaticism based upon beliefs or perceptions or imagination, the suppression of some ideologies, the big waste.

There is evidence that this midpoint is involved in drownings and severe water-related issues (floods, inundations, profound precipitation, torrential rain, snow) as well.

By the way, because Jupiter and Neptune are now both in the water sign Pisces for most of 2022, the sign they both rule, expect huge water-related issues (floods, inundations etc.) most of the year.

Move away from (coastal) areas that are known to be sensitive to inundations and/or floods.

The Saturn/Neptune midpoint right at the Pluto/Chiron midpoint (SA/NE = PL/CH) blends sadness and illness (SA/NE) with an intense and major turning point, leaving a huge emotional impact (PL/CH).

Things are brought to a head and transform our experience.

This planetary picture seems to indicate some kind of cleansing, a necessary transforming purge or catharsis.

There are political changes on the way with governments and/or leaders of state and/or representatives resigning or getting under fire.

The Saturn/Uranus midpoint at the Pluto/mean Lunar Node midpoint (SA/UR = PL/KN) is indicative of upheaval, rebellion, tension and stress (SA/UR) affecting a huge crowd, the masses (PL/KN).

There are possible disruptions, breaking of the rules, pent up aggression connecting the masses.

This planetary picture suggests collective mass upheaval and mass manifestations that may become violent here and there.

Around the perigee New Moon of January 2, Mercury enters Aquarius, resulting in breaking news, emergencies and some crisis situation.

Perigee New Moons this time of the year tend to coincide with cold winters and inclement weather.

Around January 8-9, the Sun and Venus conjoin at 18° Capricorn, a blocked, tense and "stiff" degree area.

Huge resistance prevails and there is no time to relax.

This is not a peaceful conjunction, rather one pointing to (legal) disputes, trying to resolve existential issues, feeling oppression and, especially, feeling the pressure of time.

Mars at 20° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 20° Pisces around January 11.

This waning square in mutable signs results in some "paralysis" and futile actions or activities.

There is discontent noticeable.

You may feel the victim of something or someone.

Beware of messy situations you may get involved in.

Your energy level may be low and beware of infections.

Mercury stations at 10° Aquarius around the same day of January 14 and turns retrograde.

Stationing Mercury, above all, affects Geminis and Virgos (and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants) most.

Things are not going as they wish and they may feel below par.

Don't take any important decision and wait till Mercury goes direct again early next month.

Communication and traffic issues might arise.

The degree area of 10° Aquarius coincides with passionately breaking out of "the unknown" and leaving behind one's comfort zone to attach oneself to some goal.

Following mundane astrology, Mercury's station often coincides with periods of strikes, protests and manifestations.

Around January 16, the Sun and Pluto meet at 26° Capricorn.

This powerful combo at a powerful degree suggests tense power conflicts, huge resistance and tenaciously fighting for one's ideals.

Following mundane astrology, there can be huge fights and/or tense disputes with the armed forces (police) and in or related to governments.

In some instances some totalitarian measures are a possibility.

Around the January 18 Full Moon period, Uranus stations and turns direct at 10° Taurus.

This is a very turbulent and explosive Full Moon period, especially so because the Sun enters Aquarius (which is ruled by Uranus) around January 19 as well.

There are emergencies and there is some crisis situation going on.

Expect irritable behavior also.

Stationing Uranus during a Full Moon coincides with tense, noisy and sleepless nights.

Aquarians (and Aquarius Ascendants) may rejoice as their life may get on track again slowly again.

Following astrometeorology, stationing Uranus often coincides with storms and/or thunder.

Also, the station may bring snow, causing dire situations here and there.

When the Sun enters another zodiac sign, it acts like a trigger and in the current ingress of the Sun in Aquarius, it will also trigger Uranus, ruler of Aquarius.

Also realize that stationing Uranus is squaring stationing Mercury so that this combo may coincide with heavy (snow) storms, disruptions, traffic and/or transportation accidents and breaking news.

Opinions or news may change abruptly and you should prepare for unexpected detours and changes of course.

Also note that the true Lunar North Node enters Taurus too around the same days of January 18-19 (the mean Lunar North Node entered Taurus already in December 2021), adding to some existential issues that will affect our comfort zone for the coming 18 months or so.

Around the same day of January 23, the Sun and Mercury meet at 3° Aquarius, confirming or even reinforcing fierce wind or (snow) storm(s) here and there.

However, both bodies conjoin at a degree of "a successful phase" related to social gatherings, getting together and connecting, bringing more opportunities for the better.

This degree area also indicates being able to successfully stay in one's own power -- resulting in expansion of some sort (like pregnancies, getting new acquaintances, marrying, ...).

Almost always, new opportunities arise for the better.

Following astrometeorology, beware of huge storms here and there.

Mars enters corporate and governmental Capricorn around January 24, adding tenacity and goal-oriented actions and activities.

In this position, Mars becomes the "blind" and linear executor with the stiff upper lip.

It's both fighting for and against authorities and governments.

Because 0° Capricorn is a very public degree, representing authority, the armed forces can be in the spotlight.

Around January 25-26, retrograde Mercury re-enters Capricorn as well, making for a stellium in Capricorn (Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto are currently in Capricorn) and reinforcing a conservative, narrow and strict attitude.

Following astrometeorology, a Capricorn stellium may coincide with ice cold weather and stormy weather here and there.

Retrograde Mercury meets Pluto at 26° Capricorn around January 28-29, while Venus stations and turns direct again at 11° Capricorn.

The Mercury-Pluto conjunction suggests anger and annoyance, mental strain and a very obsessive mind.

Information and/or documents may be reviewed or revised and even hidden, censored.

Any Mercury-Pluto contact suggests the need and urge to investigate.

Following astrometeorology, this aspect often coincides with heavy wind and storms here and there.

Direct Venus in Capricorn may point to a move, a change of residence or a career change.

Money management is a given and trying to feel secure also.

Around January 30, the Sun at 10° Aquarius squares Uranus at 10° Taurus, its own dispositor (because Uranus rules Aquarius, the sign the Sun is posited in).

This waning square is turbulent and chaotic because it fights for freedom and independence.

It's an aspect of fighting against the mainstream and opposing rules and boundaries.

This degree area too is indicative of job changes, moves and enforced changes in or with some group of people.

First of all, there is Neptune hitting the Saturn/Pluto midpoint (NE = SA/PL).

Additionally, Uranus is at the Jupiter/Chiron midpoint (UR = JU/CH) and in the 2nd half of the month, the Saturn/Uranus midpoint hits the Vernal point (Aries point or 0° Aries) (Vp = SA/UR).

The powerful NE = SA/PL midpoint is indicative of, among others, being betrayed, misled and damaged by some people or someone; the massive delusion, the damage through poisons or invisible things; the damage through water and/or fluids (floods or inundations as well); the disguised uses and abuses of power.

The UR = JU/CH midpoint is a very thrilling one, indicative of, among others, sudden revelations, the sudden fortunate change(s), the big aha-moment and insight, the sudden or unexpected opening of a door, the lucky break(s) and/or windfall(s), the good cheer, the technological progress.

Mercury and Pluto conjoin at 27° Capricorn (and trine the Lunar North Node in Taurus) around February 11, indicative of the news of a death.

Mercury enters Aquarius around February 14, pointing to breaking news, some emergency situation, sudden changes of opinion and/or sudden changes of course.

This degree area may have to do with air crashes, something/someone falling down (figuratively or literally) and/or news about some emergency resulting in separation.

Around the same day of March 3, Mars and Venus both conjoin Pluto at 27° Capricorn, suggesting early March is an extremely passionate period with intense feelings (for good or ill).

This degree area also reflects power dictates and calculated actions.

There is dissatisfaction with how things develop and that result in separation and division.

If you are born around January 18, March 3, April 17-18, June 3, July 20, September 5, October 21 or December 5, this conjunction may indicate a time frame of making love and intense romantic involvements that may be overwhelming.

Because of the upcoming peaceful Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in April this year, there is no need to fear any war at all.

It's all hype and likely meant to act as a smoke screen to cover something else.

The degree area itself, however, is indicative of a chaotic period, with lots of uncertainty and feeling lost.

There is too much going on to handle properly all at once and there is the likelihood of floods or inundations here and there as well.

Additionally, gas explosions may occur during the conjunction.

Around March 6, Venus and Mars conjoin at 0° Aquarius, their second merging together this year.

This time, they gather at a degree of crisis situations and big U-turns.

Remember when Jupiter and Saturn were conjunct at the same degree on December 21, 2020 and what happened then?

Any conjunction at this particular disruptive degree overturns any status quo and changes "the rules of the game."

Also, any Venus-Mars conjunction is a very passionate, intense, stormy and even explosive combo.

According to the massive research done by keen astrologer Michele Finey, Venus-Mars conjunctions are as potent and revolutionary as Uranus-Pluto conjunctions and they act as catalysts for change in a more personally accessible and conscious way.

So, this whole early March period tends to become highly electrifying and intense, setting in motion a whole pattern that will likely span generations.

On a more personal level, this conjunction of Venus and Mars in the air sign Aquarius will spice up the love life of air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) as well as the Sun sign (and rising sign) Leo as well.

Some of you may even meet Mr. or Ms. Right just now while Venus and Mars reside in Aquarius till April 5.

Be aware that whenever Venus and Mars meet and conjoin, lines and boundaries are crossed more easily (figuratively or literally), often resulting in clashes.

Questions about what is appropriate and what not may arise.

Following astrometeorology, there can be heavy storms here and there (this is the more so because the conjunction happens at 0° Aquarius, a so-called "critical degree" in an air sign).

With both planets entering Aquarius, there is now a stellium (more than three planets) in that air sign (Mercury, Venus, Mars and Saturn), increasing the odds of turbulent and disruptive manifestations and events in the coming days.

This is a very liberating and freedom-loving week for sure and, also, "there is something in the air."

Around the same day of March 6, Mercury at 24° Aquarius squares the true Lunar Nodes, suggesting a very hectic and busy period.

Some plans may (have to) be cancelled and some of you may have the impression that you are just under the influence or the victim of some higher forces.

Mercury enters Pisces, the sign of its detriment around March 9-10, indicative of chaos, confusion, uncertainty.

There is some disappointment going on.

Following astrometeorology, there can be quite some rainfall or precipitation here and there, resulting in floods, inundations and other water-related issues.

This is the more likely because there are now 4 planets in the water sign Pisces (the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune), indicative of a period of lots of precipitation.

Maritime issues may pop up.

Beware of storms also.

A stellium (more than three planets) in the secretive sign Pisces reflects lots of undercover and hidden events and plans going on.

Lots may be going on behind the scenes indeed.

The Sun and Neptune conjoin at 22° Pisces around March 13, suggesting another disappointment, especially in someone of the opposite gender.

It's important to just let go and go for new ideals.

Around the March 18 Full Moon, Venus at 12° Aquarius squares its own dispositor Uranus at 12° Taurus.

Both planets dispose each other and are in mutual reception (meaning each planet is in the sign the other planet rules, resulting in exchange status and helpful reciprocation).

This waning square is indicative of short-lived attractions and sudden relationship break-ups and tension.

Relationships are lived in a detached way.

Around April 2, the Sun, Mercury and Chiron are conjunct at 12-13° Aries, coinciding with communication issues, internet outages, electronics breaking down, technical defects and/or damage to electrical products and gear.

Mars and Saturn conjoin at 22° Aquarius around April 4-5, trying to look for more personal freedom.

There are dire and difficult surrounding situations that block further activities or actions.

The 1st half of the month, from the 1st of the month on, Saturn in Aquarius will be at the same numerical degree as Uranus in Taurus (at 18°).

Both planets will thus build their last square in fixed signs but never make it perfect so that this month is just all about threatening issues that may not fully materialize or manifest to the full.

Both planets might try to impose more fear and reflect the clash between the old, conservative and strict energies and the new, more liberating energies (that will prevail because the aspect is waning with Saturn soon succumbing to Uranus).

This disruptive aspect may still bring about harsh experiences, aside from fear, the more so because all Saturn-Uranus squares are related to tyranny, distrust in governments, breaking the rules, breaking with tradition(s), resisting the new or resisting change etc.

Additionally, Uranus at 18° Taurus is still conjunct the Fixed Star Ruchbach which is indicative of sacrifice for a higher ideology, religion and/or political party and lacking "human warmth, compassion and empathy."

Mercury stations at 24° Virgo and turns direct again around the same day of October 2, which will certainly please all Geminis and Virgos and Gemini and Virgo Ascendants.

Their life gets slowly on track again and things start to move forward again.

However, as you may all know from our monthly forecasts, Mercury stations often coincide with strikes, protests, manifestations and this stationary period might not differ, the more so because the degree area of 24° Virgo is about strikes, fear, shocks resulting in kind of paralysis, bringing shocking things (from the past) to the surface that also might bring about an existential crisis.

Pluto stations at 26° Capricorn and turns direct around the October 8-9 Full Moon period.

Periods when Pluto stations, especially in the earth sign Capricorn that represents the crust (outer skin) of the earth, often coincide with earthquakes, natural disasters that affect the earth (earth-slides, volcanic eruptions etc.) but also mining and other underground disasters, as well as big storms.

After all, Pluto also rules "the underworld" (literally and figuratively) and brings a lot of "garbage" out into the open, especially when turning direct again.

Hence, stationing Pluto is, again, in revelation mode even though it's still at a tyrannical degree.

Indeed, the degree area of 26° Capricorn is a very harsh one in which the government(s) take control and steer the people in an often arbitrary way.

As long as Pluto resides at 26° Capricorn (till December 9, 2022), governments are in control of whatever and the people are at their mercy, and often seek to break through their regulations and rulings.

Anyway, everything has its time and there is a time for everything.

The beauty of this all is that everything has an ending and so will it be.

Stationing Pluto in Capricorn will bring more power plays to the foreground and revamp the corporate world, banks, governments further and further till Pluto leaves this zodiac sign definitely in late 2024.

Individuals experiencing this Saros series may experience sudden events (falling in or out of love, sudden sexual encounters) but may also exert huge effort in some group activity.

We wonder if this influence will also affect governments because in that case, this can be a really tough and harsh totalitarian eclipse.

The Solar Eclipse in conjunction with Venus, in the sign of its fall, also adds intensity in the feelings, for good or ill.

But, because the midpoint combo is now exact, it above all indicates tons of disruptive precipitation, with possible inundations and floods.

The NE = SA/PL midpoint is indicative of, among others: the danger of water or gas or "poisons" (suggesting some event(s) involving water, gas or "poison"), to be betrayed, the severe damage, the immorality, the unreal situations and fear, the secret transformation of structures, the dissolving of fixed structures (literally and figuratively), the destabilization of society, the pulling down of large concrete buildings, the force of sneaky controlling powers.

The UR/NE = PL/CH planetary structure is indicative of, among others: the internet outage(s), websites being down or unavailable (this is almost a given), the huge water-related issues, the floods and/or inundations, the huge uncertainty about the future because of profound changes.

Around November 6, Mercury at 13° Scorpio opposes the true Lunar North Node at 13° Taurus while Venus at 18° Scorpio squares Saturn at 18° Aquarius.

Most Mercury-Lunar Node aspects suggest a lot of buzz, a hectic and busy time with lots of nervousness around.

The waning Venus-Saturn square in fixed signs in which Venus is the weaker of the two (because she's in the sign of her detriment), often coincides with disappointments related to a loved one or concerning finances.

This waning aspect has a very blocking influence and indicates rejection, separation, dissatisfaction, tightening the belt, feeling unappreciated or unloved, mourning a loved one, facing financial issues (especially shortages and blockages).

The attentive reader may have noticed that in the first week of November, the Sun, Mercury and Venus are all opposite the Lunar North Node, marking a period of slowing down and down-time.

Because the opposition happens between the fixed signs Taurus and Scorpio that are always connected with money, possessions and the like (debt, loans, insurances, taxes, etc....), these topics will be prevalent.

The November 8 Lunar Eclipse at 16° Taurus is (widely) conjunct Uranus.

This Lunar Eclipse also builds a wide T-square that involves Saturn at 18° Aquarius (which is the apex planet) and Mercury at 15° Scorpio as well.

The Sun and Mercury are conjunct at 16° Scorpio and both oppose Uranus at 16° Taurus hours later.

This whole astrological pattern or T-square is indicative of, among others: objecting and/or resisting restrictions, facing a sudden separation, the emergencies, coping with nervous tension and stress, the sudden leave-taking and/or resignation and/or escape, the fast response, the sudden disruption causing (material or physical) damage, to fight against old ways of doing things.

Saturn being the apex planet is one-pointedly determined to preserve (old) structures and order at all cost though.

There is a desire to use authority, doggedly, to have the upper hand in a situation.

This fixed T-square is highly obstinate, materialistic and uncompromising.

Both the Sun and Mercury still walk hand in hand together at 18° Scorpio and square Saturn at 18° Aquarius around November 10-11.

This waxing square tends to be sarcastic, venting sharp criticism and always thinking the worst.

There is a lot of mental strain noticeable and restrictions tend to influence the way you think.

Ambitions are high but merely based upon cold and harsh reasoning.

These can be noisy days as well.

There can be issues related to refugees, water-related matters, a move and even an exodus.

Mercury enters Capricorn on the same day of December 6 though, reflecting news from the government or some official letter, notice, communication that might set the records straight.

The day after, around December 9, Venus at 29° Sagittarius squares Jupiter at 29° Pisces and almost immediately thereafter enters Capricorn.

Around December 14, the Sun at 22° Sagittarius squares Neptune at 22° Pisces, suggesting some physical down-time.

Jupiter at the Vernal Point (0° Aries) is actually bringing good news worldwide, but there is also the chance of volcanic eruptions and/or fire-related issues here and there.

It suggests a new beginning (for the better), a move and/or change for the better.

Something is going viral or public world-wide.

There may be lots of publicity going on but beware of huge manifestations and protests alike.

This is the more so because around the perigee New Moon of December 23 at 1° Capricorn (which squares Jupiter at 0° Aries), Chiron at 11° Aries stations and turns direct again.

Our own research has found evidence that stationing Chiron periods coincide with times of huge protests, manifestations, even uproar here and there but also with extreme weather conditions.

There is dissatisfaction around.

Following astrometeorology, perigee New Moon periods in Winter are often related to (very) cold weather here and there so that it's expected that some colder Winter (and cooler Summer in the southern hemisphere) and more extreme weather enter the picture.

Be aware that for the coming months we always have a perigee New Moon...

Around December 28, Saturn and Neptune are at the same numerical degrees of 22° and 23° in a sign till mid January 2023.

This means that both planets are now tightly connected in a semi-sextile and might be related to lots of ("above normal") precipitation (snow, rain), resulting in quite some issues here and there.

Usually, this combo coincides with extreme weather (often ice cold in Winter time -- be it frozen (Saturn) water (Neptune) or melting (Neptune) ice (Saturn)).

Following mundane astrology, this combination is related to suffering, a lack of something and shortages, deprivation, quite some health issues and increased civil unrest because of the ongoing dissatisfaction and feelings of depression.

Authorities and governments are questioned and systems and structures slowly dissolve more and more.

Anytime Saturn and Neptune build a combo, they point to decay and chronically deteriorating situations in many ways and in many fields.

Be prepared and be aware that, when Saturn enters Pisces (ruled by Neptune which still resides in Pisces) in March 2023, things will likely get worse and demand "sacrifice and acceptance."

Mercury stations and turns retrograde at 24° Capricorn around December 29 while it is conjunct Venus.

Stationing Mercury too coincides with protests, strikes, manifestations, marking a restless period.

On a more personal level, stationing Mercury most of all effects Geminis and Virgos or Gemini and Virgo Ascendants who may feel below par.

Things don't go as wished for and there may be some health issues as well.

Communication does not run smoothly and it's best to not take any major decision.

The conjunction with Venus suggests leaving a loved one, reconsidering a relationship, experiencing some kind of separation.
